Efficient and simple collaboration with Miro

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly easy to use. In a matter of minutes, you can create a design and start collaborating with your team. Additionally, it offers a wide variety of functionalities and templates that facilitate efficient collaboration, even when time is limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no specific complaints about the product. On some occasions, I have experienced performance issues, but overall its functioning is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is very useful for us during retrospective sessions, as it provides interactive boards where the whole team can share and discuss ideas. It also includes a voting feature that facilitates decision-making in a democratic way. In addition to this, we use it to define workflows, create diagrams, and align ideas among team members.

Intuitive Design, But Growing Complexity

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and intuitive design make it easy to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not as straightforward as it used to be. The product now tries to cover too many features at once, which makes it feel overly complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an early-stage startup team, we rely on Miro mainly for our Prioritization sessions. In particular, we use it to visualize our backlog by arranging tasks on a 'Value vs. Complexity' matrix. Because our team is distributed, Miro enables us to work together in real time, dragging and dropping sticky notes as we discuss which features are 'Low Hanging Fruit' and which are 'Strategic Bets.' This collaborative approach helps us connect our product vision with the realities of engineering execution.

Freedom and Ease with Minor Text Tool Glitches

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for my college work, especially for discussing ideas and evaluating them. What I love most about Miro is the freedom of the board, which allows me to explore and organize my thoughts without restrictions. The tools provided are simple to use and easy to pick up on, which makes the process of getting accustomed to Miro straightforward and intuitive. These tools help me navigate through my academic tasks efficiently, making them invaluable for my college projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the text tool in Miro to be a bit 'funky,' which can be somewhat frustrating when I try to use it. Additionally, I initially faced an issue with the setup process as I wasn't receiving emails for the code, making it harder to get started smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to discuss and evaluate ideas for college work, which helps alleviate my anxiety about speaking. The board's freedom and simple tools enhance my productivity.

The Best Whiteboard for Technical Collaboration

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility of Miro's workspace, which makes it an exceptional tool for whiteboarding. Collaborative features such as the cursor, comments, and co-editing enhance the efficiency of teamwork. Miro's new AI feature is an interesting innovation that lays a good foundation for work, even though it still requires some manual adjustment, it saves me time. I also like Miro's well-thought-out ergonomics that facilitate rapid iterations. Moreover, Miro is easy to get started with, making it an obvious choice for UI and UX projects. Overall, Miro is one of the best whiteboarding tools I've used, with well-thought-out uses for design and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of usable template, lack of small "teams" features like those found on Ludi. A marketplace somewhat like N8N could be interesting (free, because if it's paid, not many would use it in a company, it's more for start-ups).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate discussions on complex topics, collaborate effectively, and structure my thoughts with flexibility. It offers excellent ergonomics and a quality whiteboard, making it an ideal tool for technical work environments.

Easy to Use Collaboration Platform for Hybrid Teams

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how it gives our project teams a single, flexible space to collaborate. We use it for everything from lofi wireframing and journey mapping to presentations, sprint planning and remote workshops, all without switching tools.

It’s especially effective for hybrid teams. Designers, product owners, engineers and SMEs can work together smoothly from any location, with real-time cursors, comments, templates and integrations keeping everyone connected. That balance of flexibility and ease of use is what makes Miro such a core part of how we work.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Miro is that large boards can hang or load slowly, especially when they include lots of widgets or images. This can break the flow during workshops or stakeholder walkthroughs. Navigation on larger boards can feel clunky and it's easy for content to get lost without strict structure.

Having said that, these issues can mostly be avoid with more deliberate management of boards and the overall content taxonomy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of keeping cross-functional teams aligned, especially in a hybrid environment. It gives us a single shared space for collaboration that would otherwise be scattered across multiple tools.

The primary benefit is a smoother workflow and clearer communication for improved alignment. Miro has become a core part of how we work because it strikes the right balance between flexibility and ease of use.

I would highly recommend Miro to friends or colleagues, rating it a solid 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the mindmaps are not downloadable, which limits my ability to easily access or share my work offline or in different formats.

Transitioning from products like Excel and PowerPoint, I've found Miro to be an outstanding tool that I would recommend to anyone, and I have already recommended it in my office.
