Versatile Tool but Desktop App Needs Stability

  • November 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is easy to manage and allows me to use large boards, which are both compact and brilliant for organizing my work tasks like storyboarding, assets direction, and guidelines. I find the ability to upload content such as images, GIFs, and videos highly valuable for enhancing my projects. Furthermore, I appreciate that Miro integrates with Slack, keeping me instantly informed about updates, which helps maintain a seamless workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the performance issues with the Miro desktop app, which frequently crashes or refreshes, disrupting my workflow. It's slower than the web app, and I often have to wait a considerable amount of time for the board to reload, which hampers my efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for storyboard guidance, asset direction, and brief creation. It's easy to manage with large, compact boards. Uploading content like images and videos is seamless, and Slack integration helps with instant updates.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is perfect for collaboration across teams and different countries. For visual learners, this is easy to use and implement across your workflows. Templates also help with getting started. Multiple users can be in a board at once, which helps management see who/what/where.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on large projects with many components, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Having the ability to navigate directly from a main project menu to various elements would make the process much more manageable. Figma is still needed for a larger design project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large, dispersed team and Miro helps everyone understand everything that goes into our projects. Outstanding items, items being worked on, and idea brain dumps can be found in one place.

Essential Tool for Diverse Project Needs

  • November 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively for both personal and professional projects. It serves as the perfect platform for planning, organizing, and storing a variety of media such as files, links, and pictures in one centralized location. At work, as a Product Director, I find it invaluable for starting new projects because it allows me to visualize ideas, gather notes, address issues, and facilitate collaboration seamlessly. Miro's features are exceptionally versatile, offering a suite of tools like document creation and mockups that create a comprehensive ecosystem for my work. The flexibility to handle multiple document formats, diagrams, and sticky notes, among others, in a single space is something I deeply appreciate. Its interface is user-friendly and straightforward, which contributes to its ease of use. Over the years, I have noticed the consistent addition of new features, many of which I have found to be quite useful. Moreover, the initial setup was very easy, all contributing to a smooth experience overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue that affects my workflow is the requirement to be zoomed in enough to edit arrows that connect different elements on the Miro board. This change has influenced my experience negatively, especially when I need to connect elements that are further apart. Previously, I could connect items with a larger zoom out, which was more convenient for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize thoughts, gather media, and organize ideas in one place. It simplifies project planning, creates an ecosystem for documentation, and enhances collaboration with its flexible interface.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its visual cleanliness when I am creating project organization charts, which makes it easier for me to understand and follow the project management tasks. Additionally, I appreciate the option to share these charts with my team seamlessly, facilitating collaboration and ensuring everyone is on the same page. The initial setup of Miro was also very easy, making the transition smooth and efficient for my team. These aspects of Miro enhance my project management experience by providing a clear, easy-to-use platform that promotes teamwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the high cost per license for Miro, as it requires users to have a full paid license in order to edit or comment. This becomes quite expensive, especially for larger teams that need multiple licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize project charts visually and share them with my team, which enhances our project management tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and great for teamwork and it is a smooth and intuitive collaborative tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to load large boards and too many pop ups and nudges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improve Collaboration, Need to Expand Functions

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro efficiently solves collaboration, document management, and project management issues, making it an essential tool for my daily work. The artificial intelligence option is particularly valuable as it allows me to create instant summaries from my analyses, thus simplifying complex tasks. Additionally, I appreciate the flawless performance during the initial setup, which posed no problems for me, making the entire user experience smooth and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro could be improved because currently, when I use artificial intelligence, I would like to be able to select an area and create non-documentary elements more easily, like a flow or a complete journey. Currently, I find that the options are still a bit limited, which restricts my ability to automatically integrate notes from a document. I also find that Miro could be improved in terms of project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve problems related to collaboration, document management, and project management. Artificial intelligence allows me to create instant summaries, which improves the efficiency of my analyses.

Intuitive and Feature-Rich, Perfect for Designers

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's intuitive design that allows me as a designer to use it easily for complex tasks like design thinking and diagrams. The platform's features such as copying styles, PDF integration, AI-powered grammar correction, and the ability to create documents and share them are particularly valuable. These features simplify my workflow, making it easier to bring complex ideas into a space where I can better understand and share them for feedback and alignment. The option to zoom in on diagrams in a separate window and the availability of template features significantly enhance the usability. Using Miro allows me to create and share effortlessly. Additionally, its integration with tools like Adobe, Figma, Excel, and Google Docs creates a seamless experience across different applications, making it indispensable for my design process. The moderate ease of the initial setup and the high functionality of its features make it a tool I would highly recommend, reflected by my willingness to rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many new users struggle with the lack of small, accessible tutorials provided directly on the platform. While there are options for walkthroughs via video, static images, or on-screen guides upon the first-time setup, these tutorials aren't always sufficient for every user, creating a challenging initial learning experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to clarify complex ideas and share them effectively for feedback and alignment, benefiting from features like PDF integration, style copying, and AI grammar correction to enhance my design work.
