Effortless Collaboration and Intuitive Design Tool

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Miro for its simplicity and ease of use, especially when working on technical design diagrams and flows. The canvas is intuitive, and the toolbox and templates make it straightforward to create design documentation without any hassle. I find it much simpler to use compared to other platforms like draw.io. Another aspect I love is the collaboration feature which makes working with others seamless. I can easily add comments and track them, which enhances team communication. Moreover, Miro integrates seamlessly with Slack, allowing for smooth workflow integration. The initial setup of Miro was very smooth, and I can embed it into Notion for easy access, although I do have some reservations about making it public for embedding. Overall, these features make Miro a valuable and efficient tool for my work, and I would enthusiastically recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the default icon set in Miro to be very limited. I often have to search for icons elsewhere, which can be inconvenient. More technology-related icons such as SIM card, generic clouds, and databases would enhance my experience. Additionally, I dislike the requirement to make documents public in order to seamlessly embed them into Notion. This aspect feels like an unnecessary barrier to efficient usage and privacy protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro makes creating technical designs easy and collaborative. Its simple canvas and templates streamline my workflow, allowing for effective documentation. The ability to add comments enhances team collaboration, simplifying the design process compared to tools like draw.io.

I appreciate how simple it is to drop in images and downloaded documents, making it a versatile tool for my needs. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro is very easy, further enhancing its accessibility and functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the slides sometimes export weirdly.

Collaborative Tool with Excellent User Flow Design

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for creating great flowchart system designs, especially for user flows, system architecture, or application architecture. The collaborative feature is fantastic; it feels like I'm in the room sharing a whiteboard with others, which enhances our collaboration significantly. Everyone can contribute, ensuring that all ideas are understood, making it an invaluable tool for team projects. Additionally, setting up Miro was super easy, as it only required me to log in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the drawing capabilities in Miro feel a little clunky and lack the finesse I would like. It would improve my experience if there was more fidelity in the drawing tools, allowing for smoother and more precise design work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to design flowcharts and idea maps, figure out user flows and system architectures, and collaborate online effectively, making work feel like sharing a whiteboard in the same room and ensuring everyone's ideas are understood.

Effortless Collaboration with Powerful Visual Tools

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro extremely valuable for visualizing my university work better than other options I've tried. Its usefulness in mind mapping is unparalleled, particularly because I can add an A4 frame per topic and easily export and print them, which is excellent for revising away from devices. I truly appreciate the intuitive feeling of working with Miro on my own, especially with the access to templates and the ease of including various visual materials. When collaborating with others, it's unmatched for brainstorming, allowing seamless addition of images, text, emojis, PDFs, and more. The platform makes it easy to onboard new people in just a few minutes. Additionally, features like the ability to pull people to me when I'm leading, seeing if someone has commented, using the voting feature, and the built-in timer contribute to an enjoyable and efficient collaboration experience. All these aspects make Miro my go-to tool, and I'm confident in recommending it regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrows to connect elements are too eager, and I wish there was a toggle in the board settings to use the 'automatic arrow' feature or not. This issue arises mainly when collaborating with people who are new to Miro. Additionally, new users often move frames around a lot, and I wish it were more challenging to move them—perhaps requiring a double-click—without locking, since I frequently need to resize them, especially during brainstorming sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize my university work effectively. It's excellent for brainstorming and collaborating, allowing easy additions of text and images. It provides intuitive tools, templates, and makes onboarding quick, enhancing my overall productivity in visual tasks.

Easy Collaboration, Some Limitations Offline

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I incredibly appreciate the ease of use of Miro. It is a very intuitive and user-friendly platform, which allows my team and me to work together effectively. The collaboration feature is particularly remarkable as it helps us add notes and track the actions of other collaborators in real-time. This level of interactivity and transparency greatly facilitates our group work. Moreover, the initial setup was very quick and simple, even for the entire team, which allowed for a smooth and uncomplicated start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the web interface of Miro sometimes leads to a lack of responsiveness. A true standalone software version would be desirable to allow saving and accessing projects offline, even in read-only mode. This would be particularly useful for consulting resources without relying on an Internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize our ideas and facilitate collaboration on mood boards, schedules, and diagrams, while centralizing links and resources. It is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes collaboration effective by following the actions of others live.

Easy use and presentation strength with Miro

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to use Miro to create flowcharts at work because the presentation is simple and appealing. It is the only app in this regard that is really easy to use, much better than PowerPoint. What I like most is the ease of use of Miro. The presentation features and the huge canvas are incredibly useful; you have enough space to freely develop your ideas, frame them, and then present them simply and elegantly. The initial setup was also straightforward, as I just had to register, and it went super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many standard features are hidden behind a paywall. You can only use a few characters without premium, which limits usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to represent processes with flowcharts. It is easy to use and offers a nice design, especially for presentations. The large canvas makes it easy to create content and present it clearly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro in my work because it makes collaboration fast, visual, and organized. It helps me structure ideas, run brainstorming sessions, and keep everyone aligned, even when the workflow is complex. It turns scattered thoughts into clear plans and makes teamwork smoother and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can feel slow and heavy during intensive sessions, especially when the board becomes large. It also takes extra time to keep everything tidy, and some tools feel less intuitive than they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves several core workflow problems: scattered communication, unclear processes, and difficulty aligning teams around complex ideas. It provides a shared visual space where information lives in one place instead of being split across chats, documents, and slides.
