What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how indispensable Miro is for systems mapping and research, both professionally and in my graduate studies towards a master's in strategic management and innovation. It stands out as one of the best collaboration tools I've used, allowing for effective and efficient concept testing, proposition design strategy, and ideation workshops. The platform is excellent for visualizing ideas, as it accelerates and simplifies the process of capturing participant and stakeholder input. I am impressed by how quickly it allows us to set up work environments and collaborate, making group work and communication more seamless. The tool is intuitive and alleviates design pressure from those who may struggle with it by offering user-friendly tools. I've found the sticky note feature particularly valuable for capturing feedback and promoting interactive collaboration, enabling participants to take charge of their creative processes while maintaining clear direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Miro can be resource-intensive, which occasionally causes it to lag or become glitchy. This performance issue can depend on the browser or the computer's power, creating a hurdle for some participants trying to engage with the tool due to the lagging. Also, managing multiple accounts across different email addresses and workspaces can sometimes be cumbersome and confusing, especially regarding sharing permissions.

I find Miro invaluable for visualizing ideas and facilitating collaborative sessions, accelerating mapping and capturing feedback seamlessly, while simplifying tools for easy use regardless of design expertise.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an easy way for teams to collaborate in real-time! The templates are so clutch and a great starting point for pretty much any use case in the office - brainstorming, post-project recaps/retros, tracking/project management, and more!

It's hard to get the hang of it at first. Some features are hard to find, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a big deal to use.

Everything! The fact that it’s an endless board, its design, its usability for all kinds of purposes! I mean you could use it for doing internal work, but also for hosting interactive meetings, making presentations or working in brainstorming sessions

I love how Miro allows others to easily view my board without needing an account, which simplifies sharing and provides a quick overview for those cautious about signing up. This ease of sharing is beneficial when I collaborate with my career coach and colleagues, as they can see my thought processes and design strategies without hassle, demonstrating the effort behind my work clearly. Furthermore, the customization feature of frames is incredibly helpful to me as it allows me to structure and categorize different parts of my thoughts efficiently, tailoring the size to fit my needs precisely. This customization aids in structuring my designs and thoughts which is crucial for my work as a designer and visual thinker.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the exporting process in Miro cumbersome and problematic. When I export my Miro board as an image, the quality is frequently low and blurry, which is frustrating because I can't share high-quality images. Additionally, exporting to PDF is also unsatisfactory due to low quality, with images being too small or blurry, requiring me to save them separately or resort to screenshots, which is time-consuming. It's also challenging to transfer a Miro board to another account, particularly because it doesn't allow seamless copying of boards that include images and text. This issue becomes more prominent when attempting to manage design projects across personal and professional accounts. The complicated exporting and sharing process adds extra steps, making it less efficient compared to tools like Figma, which offer easier link sharing and maintain higher quality outputs.

I use Miro to organize my thoughts and ideas, making it easy to follow and share with others without an account. However, exporting boards is cumbersome, with low image quality, affecting workflow efficiency.

I used Miro to organize a variety of documents that all discuss the same topic, but from different perspectives. This has helped improve the way explanations and onboarding activities are delivered to new employees.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro provides comprehensive tools that are simple to use without any need for prior training. It offers an intuitive interface that makes creating charts and flow charts easy, with readily available shapes and a variety of color options to highlight important details. The ability to have all data and its iterations on a single page is incredibly helpful. The zoom-in and zoom-out features are also straightforward, allowing me to maneuver through all the data easily. I appreciate that the initial setup was very easy and smooth, making the transition seamless. I also value the extensive options Miro offers compared to previous platforms like Ecopy, which enhances my ability to brainstorm and design seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that loading all the data with images in Miro could be quicker. The current speed slows down the workflow when handling detailed visuals and large sets of data, which can be quite frustrating.

Sometimes Miro can feel a bit overwhelming with so many tools on the screen, which makes simple tasks take longer than expected. It can also get slightly laggy or cluttered when working on larger boards with multiple collaborators. A more streamlined navigation experience would make it even better.

Infinite Canvas and Prototyping Make Miro Essential for Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful thing by far about Miro is the infinite canvas. Being able to constantly create when new ideas occur and have everything stay together in the same place is great for brainstorming and workshopping ideas. As a Business Analyst, I am constantly using Miro to kick off projects and create products. The prototyping tool really stepped things up - now we no longer have to start with a blank canvas, we start with an idea and create a prototype from that idea within minutes. That prototype will then spark more ideas and soon we have a fully fledged product mapped out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside of Miro is that sometimes when running workshops it can be difficult to make sure that workshop participants without paid accounts have the correct access before the meeting, so we usually end up sharing a screen with one person running it rather than getting individuals to access the canvas themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great innovation tool for us - it helps gather the initial ideas, build workflows to play things back to stakeholders, analyse what we have gathered, and prototype or wireframe solutions. It is a complete end-to-end product-building solution, and it's so easy to use that new team members can get up and running within minutes.
A Must-Have Idea Pad with Room for Improvement

I love using Miro because it serves as a versatile platform for capturing my thoughts and developing ideas. It's like having a digital idea pad or scrap piece of paper where I can quickly jot down concepts and then refine them into polished projects to share with others. I appreciate the fact that Miro allows me to work efficiently by creating content rapidly and using various mediums like shapes and documents all in one integrated space. The setup process was incredibly easy, enabling me to focus more on creative efforts without being bogged down by technicalities. Also, the fast creation capabilities of Miro means I can bring my ideas to life without delay. It's an invaluable tool for collaboration and sharing within my team, which is why I haven't felt the need to switch to any other product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know the shortcuts, and I can't figure out how to snap to the grid in Miro. Some more obvious tips would be great, as the available guidance is not immediately clear or accessible.

What I like best about Miro is its versatility, flexibility, and speed. It offers many integrations, and you can work very creatively.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Miro is that I cannot export PNG files. My boards become useless if I no longer have a subscription because the free version is basically just a trial. The AI is not good, and since you can only use it 25 times, it is hardly used.

Miro helps me visually represent complex information and keep a lot of information in one place. I can be very flexible and have a wide range of options to express my creativity.
