The real-time collaboration feature is invaluable for my team, allowing us to brainstorm, provide feedback instantly, and keep all design discussions centralized in one place. The variety of templates available streamlines the setup process, making it quick and easy to start a new project. I also appreciate how easy and intuitive the initial setup is, with helpful onboarding tutorials that make getting comfortable with creating boards, inviting teammates, and using templates a breeze. Additionally, Miro’s seamless integration capabilities with tools like Figma enhance our workflow by combining brainstorming and user flow mapping with detailed UI design and prototyping. Overall, Miro makes teamwork seamless and visual thinking effortless.

Intuitive and Easy to Use from Day One

  • November 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive to use meaning it didn't require a lot of time for me to familiarise myself with how to use it. I downloaded it one day and went live using it in a focus gorup the next day. If you can use powerpoint, then you can use Miro, it doesn't require you to learn new skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting confused between wanting to move around the screen but sometimes that would end up zooming in and out instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to brainstorm online with others, but I also needed to manage the technical aspects myself since our time was limited and some participants might have found even scanning a QR code difficult. Miro made it possible for me to lead the brainstorming session while others simply contributed their ideas. They didn’t have to worry about typing or posting anything themselves—I handled all of that. Thanks to how easy Miro is to use, I was able to both facilitate the session and manage the technical side at the same time.

Easy to Use with Collaborative Power, but Needs Refinement

  • November 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly easy to use, which is a huge benefit for me and for any new users, like clients, as they can understand it right away without needing extensive onboarding. The platform’s user-friendly nature means it's accessible and reduces the learning curve, allowing us to jump straight into productive work. Moreover, I appreciate the little features, the bells and whistles that add a delightful touch to its design, making it more fun to use than expected. Miro helps me collaborate effortlessly; it's a visual tool that keeps track of everything in one centralized location, which eliminates the hassle of managing multiple files. I particularly value the availability of templates, which save me from having to start from scratch every time, effectively saving time and boosting productivity. The interactive features, such as adding names to sticky notes, controlling music, or hiding cursors, indicate how well thought-through the platform is, catering to detailed user experiences even if I am not a power user. I feel Miro consistently builds upon its strengths, enhancing its functionality further. Honestly, the core experience provided by Miro is nailed, doing exactly what I need without overcomplicating with unnecessary features that other tools might struggle to balance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Miro to be somewhat clunky when it comes to moving and resizing elements. It always seems a bit confusing and not intuitive, especially regarding controlling exact font sizes as things scale, which can get messy quickly as different elements are pulled by multiple users. This results in spending considerable time cleaning up to maintain consistency and structure. I also experimented with the AI grouping and summarization feature, which feels underdeveloped at this stage. It's an interesting concept, but it seems like it's in its early days of effectiveness. Additionally, I'm not satisfied with the download functionality. The output can be in awkward formats, too large, or time-consuming to download, which doesn't meet my expectations for seamless use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaborating visually, which keeps everything in one place and eliminates the need to manage multiple files. It comes with templates that save time and effort when brainstorming or planning.

Collaborative Tool with Great AI Features, but Needs Prototyping Enhancements

  • November 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Miro facilitates collaboration in our fully remote company setting; it allows us to work together even when we're not physically in the same space. This means a lot to us as it consolidates our tools, making it easier than using multiple different platforms. Their new AI tools are impressive; they use the canvas context effectively, transforming brainstorming sessions into comprehensive documents automatically. Historically, I used to manually transfer these sessions into documents, but Miro's AI does it automatically now, which I find incredibly cool and saves me a lot of time. It's great that Miro doesn't require everyone to have an account or pay for a seat, making it accessible for more people to use it collaboratively. I also appreciate the innovative demonstration Miro provided at their conference; it showed the potential for their prototyping tool, which seemed quite promising and well-designed during the demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Miro's new prototyping tool to be incredibly confusing and not intuitive to use. Despite the exciting demonstrations at their conference, when I tried using the tool, it didn't work well or align with what was showcased. The trial was disappointing, and due to the complexity and lack of user-friendliness, my team decided not to enable it as we couldn't make it perform as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to enhance remote collaboration, consolidating tools like Notion into one platform. Its AI features transform brainstorming sessions into documents effortlessly, improving productivity and teamwork.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use Miro offers, making it straightforward to plan projects and design user journeys. The immediate syncing feature is incredibly valuable, ensuring that my colleagues and I are always on the same page, regardless of our locations. This seamless synchronization solves many of our remote collaboration challenges and facilitates efficient record-keeping by saving discussions and designs online for universal access. The variety of tools Miro provides is remarkable, supporting us in drafting proofs of concept or designs and making them accessible to everyone involved. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, everything works well with Miro, which is why I would rate it ten out of ten for recommending it to a friend or colleague.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve remote collaboration challenges and for record-keeping, allowing seamless design sharing and access for my team.

Intuitive tool for seamless collaboration

  • November 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as one of my main tools for coaching, workshops, training, lectures, and collaborative brainstorming in the areas of team development and leadership training. I highly value the platform for its interactive and collaborative capabilities. This allows me to prepare workshops, conduct them effectively, and easily reuse (certain aspects). I particularly appreciate the reliability and simplicity of Miro and its high user-friendliness. Every workshop participant can intuitively create and organize sticky notes immediately or after only a very short familiarization period and navigate the board. And of course, this can be done remotely and globally distributed. I also appreciate the ability to easily copy and paste content like prepared templates and to insert and precisely position images, text, and colors in terms of design, which is especially useful for my lectures and presentations. I can export the slides in very high quality and provide them as handouts. As a result, Miro has become my "standard presentation tool" and has completely replaced PowerPoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
With several hundred participants, it becomes jerky and chaotic. I somewhat miss the "crowd management" functions like "hands off" (for merging, sorting, or AI processing of content) or the "restricted anonymous mode" without hiding the sticky notes. Additionally, the quality and reliability of Miro-AI are still insufficient. The translation of content doesn't always work, and Miro-AI still often starts to make things up that aren't on the board when summarizing. The roadmap and Kanban functionalities are currently being revised, but they are not yet as smooth and functional as I would like them to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for interactive collaboration in workshops, training sessions, and lectures. Miro is fast, intuitive, and supports real collaboration.
