Great for collaborative creative practice and presenting ideas

  • April 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite thing about miro is that you don't need to select a size. When working in creative cloud I often find I have to keep resizing the document and worrying about scale but miro is great for seamless working and idea sharing
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike about miro is new people are often reluctant to use it and so I often find it hard to attain collaborators
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A way for all our ideas as a team to be gathered in one place. Another benefit is it is great to use for online and in person pitches in the early stage when I do not enough of a polished idea for a regular deck

Tighter teamwork

  • April 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a game-changer for our team. It has transformed the way we collaborate, improved our productivity, and simplified managing complex projects. We were looking for a tool to streamline our team's communication and boost collaboration, and it's been incredibly helpful for our smaller and medium sized teams of 5-15 people. We decided to use it based on the large number of features; and I recommended Miro to my manager vs other similar products based off of how intuitive it is. Even beginners that have no training with it have been able to pick it up and use it quickly in different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we have found is the AI for creating flowcharts is a bit off. We use flowcharts daily, and they don't quite get it right.(However the AI summary tools are great.) This is more of a ding against the AI model as Miro actually handles all the project pieces well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main feature for use is collaborating and mind mapping large mulit-faceted projects. We have other software for smaller, routine tasks, but needed something to allow people to post and arrange all of our ideas in an intuitive whiteboard space.

Very solid and flexible software

  • April 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm always impressed by how easy Miro is to use, while still offering a wide range of powerful features. The boards provide great flexibility, allowing you to organize, create, and collaborate without feeling limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing boards can sometimes be a challenge—especially when the recipient doesn't have the right license or access level, which prevents them from opening the board. It would be helpful if Miro provided clearer guidance or notifications about sharing restrictions and license requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is incredibly helpful for brainstorming and visualizing ideas. We often use it to create diagrams that clarify workflows and team structures, making complex processes easier to understand.

In addition, we regularly use Miro for building org charts, facilitating workshops, and running retrospective meetings. Its versatility makes it a valuable tool for both planning and collaboration.

Miro App: A Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for Improvement

  • April 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an exceptional tool for collaboration and brainstorming. Its intuitive interface and vast array of features make it easy to create, share, and iterate on ideas in real-time. The ability to integrate with other productivity tools like Slack, Trello, and Google Drive enhances its utility, making it a central hub for team projects. The visual nature of Miro, with its endless canvas and variety of templates, allows for creative freedom and effective communication, which is particularly beneficial for remote teams. I use Miro daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro excels in many areas, it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to its extensive feature set. New users might find the learning curve steep, and the interface can become cluttered with too many options. Additionally, the performance can occasionally lag when working with large boards or numerous collaborators, which can disrupt the workflow. Lastly, the pricing model may be a bit steep for smaller teams or individual users who need access to advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhanced Collaboration:

Problem: Traditional collaboration tools often lack the visual and interactive elements needed for effective brainstorming and planning.
Benefit: Miro provides an interactive, visual platform where team members can simultaneously work on a shared canvas, making it easy to brainstorm, map out ideas, and create workflows together in real-time.
Improved Communication:

Problem: Remote teams often struggle with clear communication and alignment on projects.
Benefit: Miro’s visual nature and real-time collaboration features help ensure everyone is on the same page. The ability to leave comments, tag team members, and use visual aids like sticky notes and diagrams enhances clarity and understanding.
Streamlined Project Management:

Problem: Managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders can be challenging, especially when using disparate tools.
Benefit: Miro integrates with various productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, Google Drive), creating a centralized hub for project management. This integration helps streamline workflows, reduce the need for switching between apps, and keeps all project-related information in one place.
Creative Freedom:

Problem: Limited tools for creative brainstorming can stifle innovation.
Benefit: Miro’s endless canvas and variety of templates allow for unrestricted creative expression. Teams can freely draw, design, and prototype, fostering innovation and out-of-the-box thinking.
Accessibility and Inclusivity:

Problem: Ensuring all team members, regardless of location, can contribute equally can be difficult.
Benefit: Miro’s cloud-based platform ensures that everyone can access and contribute to the board from anywhere, promoting inclusivity and equal participation.

Best Digital Board I know

  • April 22, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive and user friendly. It is packed with features that allow me to think and create. I am a heavy user. My main use of Miro is for brainstorming, workflow creation, Mock-up generation and more. Since Miro is Web based, it doesn't require any installation and can be accessed easily from any web browser, making it very easy to integrate within a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am aware there are many existing features I am not familiar with, but for the use I give it there is not downsides. I am a happy user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing complex workflows is always a challenge. Miro allows me to create visual representation of complex processes and workflows, making them easy to understand to other stack holders.
I also use Miro to create mockups for applications we develop and client confirmations for Tier 1 clients.
