My experience with Miro has been mostly positive

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is really helpful in facilitating cross-functional workshops, clearly sythensizing user research, and mapping user journeys. Being a product designer, I need a white-board type tool to gather all my ideas in one place and a place to do real-time collaboration. I love the vareity of templates and how they are sectioned out into different categories. It is broken out by my design process "ideation & brainstorming" "research & design" I also like the timer and voting when holding workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Miro is that it is another platform that I need to sign into. Figjam is within the application and can be switched in the views whereas Miro, I have to use another browser. There is AI templates, but there's no way to prompt-create a template or board. I also don't like the search and navigation within boards that have a lot of data and information in it. It is hard to quickly find a specific frame or sticky note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the problem of cross-functional and centralized documentation. As a designer, I mostly use Figma while the product managers prefer Miro. So we compromise to use all the documentation in Miro since I have used Miro before. It is beneficial because it is all in one place and since we are all remote, it makes collaboration easier.

Another problem Miro solves is bridging design and strategy. I can align with stakeholders quickly by hosting workshops and quickly move onto the ideation phase right in Miro. With workshops and ideation, it is a seamless when it comes research and ideation phase. I then take the findings into figma.

The third problem Miro solves is it turns complex ideas into organized and sharable projects. This benefits me by making it much easier to communicate and iterate on ideas with my team. Instead of struggling to explain complex concepts verbally or across scattered documents, I can visually map them in Miro, organize them logically, and share a single source of truth. This not only speeds up decision-making and reduces misunderstandings but also allows everyone.

Effortless Mind Mapping with Great Usability—Wishing for Dark Mode and Modern Fonts

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is straightforward and extremely easy to navigate. The available symbols and the range of diagrams provided are sufficient for me to create a mind map, allowing me to organize all the details about systems in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to criticize, but having a dark mode and some more modern font options would be fantastic additions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was helpful for mapping out the entire system architecture, which made debugging and introducing new services much easier.

Miro Makes Flow Diagrams Easy with Abundant Templates

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use it primarily to create flow diagrams. Previously, I relied on other tools designed specifically for this purpose, but I find Miro's builder suite much more user-friendly. It also offers the advantage of extra tools and templates that enhance the flow diagrams I work on. Additionally, it is effective for collaboration, allowing me to gather feedback on my diagrams, make adjustments, and keep track of follow-up actions using the Resolve function.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing specific I don't like, the number of templates it provides can be a little overwhelming but it's not a bad thing to ensure it offers something for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently involved in projects that demand fairly complex workflows, and using Miro to create flow diagrams has been invaluable for visualising the processes we are developing. This approach helps us compare the initial iteration with potential future versions, making it easier to plan ahead. By mapping everything out in Miro, we gain clarity on the project before any actual work begins, ensuring that every team member understands the intended journey and expected outcomes.

The flexibility of the different applications you can do with Miro. It's really easy to use even when you're new to the platform, the templates offered are great, it's simple to share and collaborate
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not easy to customize the board you want. For example I was trying to do a process diagram but I couldn'T find the right shape
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me easily put on paper what's in my mind and share the information with our team

Collaborative and user-friendly intuitive platform

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is widely used in teams for idea generation and has been particularly helpful in meetings with clients. I started using Miro about 8 years ago and found it very suitable for drawing system architectures. Its usability is excellent, and the collaboration features with other users are particularly good. There were no difficulties in setting up Miro, and it was completed very smoothly. Collaboration is very convenient, and it feels like using a whiteboard in a meeting room, even when working remotely, giving the impression of working right in front of you. I especially like that I can naturally express what I'm thinking through Miro, and I often use sticky notes and arrows. Additionally, it integrates well with other applications like Google Spreadsheets, making it very useful. I also like that it is simple and lightweight. The fact that it is easy to use and requires no additional learning is a major advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro has felt a bit heavy recently. Also, there is some disappointment regarding Korean language support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes collaboration comfortable and makes remote work feel like working together on a whiteboard in a meeting room.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who's worked remotely for 8+ years, MIRO has been the most consistent tool in my work-belt. It's easy to use and is the most powerful tool to recreate that 'whiteboard' experience
What do you dislike about the product?
The workspace / filing system is sometimes confusing! (This might have been because in my last org we set up so many different instances!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking complex problems or thoughts and allowing us to document and refine them
