Easy to Use and Flexible for Remote Whiteboarding

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for about four years to create diagrams for architecture and conduct whiteboarding sessions, which I find extremely valuable. I came across Miro while searching for a whiteboarding tool, and it immediately appealed to me upon trying it. I appreciate that Miro was a better fit for my needs compared to other vendors. Setting up Miro was quite easy, even for someone who uses it in a simplified manner, which makes it very convenient. The pre-built templates and the interactive whiteboarding capability are exceptionally beneficial as they enable my remote team to collaborate effectively by whiteboarding together, which is an essential aspect of our workflow. Another feature that I really like is the availability of architectural AWS icons, which are crucial for us since we're an AWS shop, allowing us to seamlessly build our designs. Miro's ease of use and flexibility stand out as key aspects that would make me consider purchasing it again. Overall, Miro's tools and features significantly benefit our team, making it an indispensable tool in our toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's kinda hard to share dashboards sometimes with people outside of your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve remote team collaboration challenges, enabling us to whiteboard together effectively. It offers architectural AWS icons for our designs and is easy to use and flexible, making it an ideal tool for our needs.

A Versatile Workspace of great value to us

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro has transformed the way we collaborate within my consultancy, which includes a diverse group of professionals like learning designers, project managers, and user experience designers. The platform's seamless user experience is a significant upgrade from others I've used, making it an intuitive choice for virtual collaboration. I appreciate how straightforward it was to set up, allowing me to get started and dive into my work immediately. Miro helps us solve problems much more quickly and effectively by enabling efficient collaboration that is both visual and practical. This capability allows us to express and brainstorm ideas more effectively, providing a visual representation of otherwise text-heavy information. What stands out is not one singular feature but the entire experience and ecosystem that Miro provides. The simplicity of features like Post-it notes, the abundance of templates such as mind maps, and the improved tools like tables and Kanban boards make idea visualization and sharing within my team effortless. Miro's comprehensive ecosystem of embedded tools and templates enhances our workflow significantly. I'm also excited about the artificial intelligence capabilities Miro is developing, as the anticipation and potential of these features could greatly benefit our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the video and audio capabilities in Miro not as prominent as they should be. While we usually rely on Microsoft Teams for calls during our collaboration sessions on Miro, ideally, this is a functionality that should be seamlessly integrated and easily accessible within Miro itself. The current arrangement requires us to depend on external tools for communication, which seems inefficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to collaborate more efficiently and solve both client and internal problems faster. It allows us to express ideas visually, transforming text-heavy processes into visual representations and enabling more effective brainstorming and collaboration.

Essential for Group Projects, But Needs Faster Performance

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Miro is a very efficient tool for group projects as it records each member's efforts, which enables us to see everyone's contributions clearly. The ability to monitor who contributes what is valuable for assessing group dynamics and fairness in team projects. Miro's features, like the stickers and vote function, are especially helpful during group discussions, allowing us to effectively gather individual input and determine the most popular ideas, assisting us in making final decisions with ease. Additionally, the free online classes provided by Miro have been beneficial in getting acquainted with the platform, enhancing my overall user experience. The working experience with Miro has been really good, making it a reliable tool for both group projects and digital design tasks. I also value Miro because it's free, which was a significant factor in its adoption for my class since our professor recommended it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes it's really slow to open the Miro website or app. The speed and reaction time of Miro could definitely be faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for efficient group projects, where we can see individual contributions, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.

Miro’s AI Workspace Sparks Innovation and Streamlines Collaboration

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration workspace has the potential to become the foundation for the 'next big thing.' While their brand emphasizes the next major innovation in the industry, what stands out to me is how it can also spark significant change within your own organization. I have started using the new AI workspace features to collaboratively design workflows, and I plan to implement them to establish effective guardrails for project processes. This should also help save a great deal of time that would otherwise be spent on back-and-forth during concept development. Miro has truly excelled in creating a space that fosters real collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is overwhelming. There's so much to learn and understand to pick up the real value within the product. Anyone can use a whiteboard...not everyone can build integrations and ai workflows and create some really meaningful work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflows, communications to stakeholders, complex internal problems – becoming simpler.

Feature-Rich and User-Friendly, But Admin Controls Need Improvement

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro Canvas is feature rich for modern distributed teams. It is very easy to use and have great applications in different scenarios. Miro keep expanding with new functionalities with time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin functionalities are little bit limited. As an organisation admin I assign paid licenses but I can not see all the Boards in Teams. Only number of boards but not actual boards. Admin function must be full admin functions so we can put some governance. In Mondern times you can't go and ask individual if it is not used, Can I delete it? Features are highlighted vs admin functions in home screen like access to any/all boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual collaboration offers a much more powerful and efficient way to create content compared to using something like PowerPoint. While PowerPoint presentations are still the standard for documentation in many large organizations, Miro is helping me change this mindset.

MIRO Makes Projects Clear, But Image Uploads Can Be Buggy

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The whole structure of MIRO make any project easy to understand
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think its least helpful, but adding images on Miro sometimes may lead into some bugs at least for me when the project is getting too big
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see clearly all the details that i have to be aware off, makes me save some minutes or even hours of work just looking at miro tab seeing exactly what i need to do, and the fact that it is interactive with the other users make it even more satisfying to use it

Closest thing to a physical whiteboard I've found

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro provides an experience similar to using an actual physical whiteboard. It's great for sharing ideas with clients in meetings, particularly with remote clients, as it offers the closest experience to being in a room together with a whiteboard. I appreciate the ease of setup, as it didn't pose any significant difficulty and was straightforward. I find it particularly useful that the boards are so big – I can just scroll to another part of the board and start a new section. The flexibility of what you can do and how you can build in Miro makes it hands-down my favorite software I've discovered this year.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to locate new boards in Miro. The navigation isn't very intuitive, and I often forget where to find them. This makes it difficult for me to switch between different boards efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro serves as a flexible digital whiteboard, perfect for remote collaboration. It replicates the in-room whiteboard experience, allowing real-time brainstorming and visualization during client meetings.
