Evaluation of Miro: Collaborative Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is its flexibility and visual aspect, which make organization and collaboration easier. The intuitive interface allows for clearly structuring ideas, tracking project progress, and keeping an overview at a glance. It is particularly useful for laying out the pipeline, annotating references, and organizing the different stages of production smoothly. Teamwork is also simplified thanks to real-time annotations and sharing capabilities. And the free version is extremely comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like less about Miro is its sometimes limited optimization, especially on loaded boards. The application consumes a lot of RAM, which can make it slow on complex projects. Additionally, the inability to directly import MP4 files is frustrating, especially for animation projects where one would like to view sequences without having to use external links. Finally, the management of files and assets could be smoother, with better organization of imports and more comprehensive export options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro primarily solves collaboration and visual organization problems in a team project. It allows for centralizing ideas, structuring the production pipeline, and tracking progress in real-time, which prevents the dispersion of information across multiple platforms. Thanks to its intuitive interface, I can easily annotate references, organize my tasks, and visualize the entire project at a glance. This helps me better structure my work and collaborate effectively with my team, even remotely.
