Overall Miro is a easy collaboration tool that I enjoy using

  • March 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been helpful collaboration tool for exercises such as requirements gathering, sprint retro. It is an easy tool to use to consolidate data/findings. I like the templates that can be easily used and modified to suit my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the floating tool bar, sometimes i find that it covers text that i am reading or want to reference. I prefer having a static tool bar where I can edit my text accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an easy collaboration tool where multiple users can easily edit and provide thoughts in real time.
It makes mundane tasks more enjoyable in a group setting.
The templates available is also a helpful guide when finalising documentation or creating customer journey templates to use.

Miro - A tool for making and co creating workflows

  • March 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It offers multiple ways and designs to make workflows , process flowcharts interactive and also allows multiple users to co-create at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
for larger workflows and process flowcharts it becomes absolutely difficult to present it to the larger set of audience in the form of presentation and makes it a messy affair to re - navigate unless a step by step animation is applied to it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create complete process flows and wireframes for my stakeholders journeys such as customer , dealer , investors , users and buyers.
It helps me understand the front end , back end and process integrations from all user perspective and the cross collaboration tool with multiple contributors help me design processes much more seamlessly and effectively. It saves me a lot of time and helps me focus more on strategizing and designing the actual workflows than sitting , ideating on it

Brilliant online tool for true real-time collaboration

  • March 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are using our dashboard to include external parties for reviews of large scale projects. It's great to not be limited to domains or internal networks to do this cross boundary collaboration. The real-time collaboration is fantastic. The ability to see everyone's pointer floating across the screen gives a sense of gamification to the dashboard and represents the concept of an in-person group activity really well.
The export option is great and simplifies the reporting and actions from any workshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user controls are somewhat simple and useful for some, but for others they are still too complicated. It would be good to have the option to give minimal tools to end users, eg reducing the available functionality to just create a new post it note.
The limit of 25 users can be a challenge, a limit of say 40 would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post implementation reviews with external parties, ensuring everyone sees the same thing despite being in different parts of the world.

Miro is an ideal tool to conduct design work with non-designer colleagues and clients

  • March 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows for complex visualisations while being so easy to use that it can be learned on the spot, which is very useful in client work
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets slow when I put many documents on it, which I often have to do for research purposes. And while I love the new AI features (especially text-to-notes and automated translation), the summary and clustering function makes many mistakes and produces pretty banal results that AIs like claude or chat GPT would not
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I typically use more involved tools like Figma, but those are difficult to collaborate in with our clients, since they often don't have access to the tool and it has a steeper learning curve. Miro is easy to learn and probably cheaper, so that our clients use it too and often already know it. If Figma is the equivalent of an architect with many years of experience, then Miro is Lego. It produces similar, if less refined results, and it's childishly easy. What's more, the continuous improvement and features added keep me coming back to Miro, rather than competitors like Mural, because Miro is always several steps ahead in the UX

Miro let's me organize my notes and thoughts in a more natural for me way.

  • March 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives me a full flexibility over how I organize my informations. I can move items around, change their size, connect or disconnect, it's very comfortable. I like that it has colors to choose from and shapes. I like that I can paste a printscreen photo straight to the board. I like having different options, personification of everything. I don't usually use it for collaboration, but this is how I even learned about it and I think it's also an important feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that selecting is with the right mouse click and moving with left. I got used to having it the opposite way in Google Maps and now I get things confused, which is annoying. Editing text in boxes or stickers sometimes happens for more than just selected text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as my memory board. It's letting me keep some information and find them easily. It reminds me of important stuff.

Ease of use, great UI/UX, collaboration features, desktop app, and web app versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really that I can think of. Miro has got everything. Maybe one minor feature addition to consider is adding more shapes/objects to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highly collaborative and visual application for presentations and strategy planning.
