The ability to very easily share with people, especially during training sessions

Miro: A Game-Changer for Collaborative Project Management

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro is a brilliant tool for bringing all aspects of a project together on a single board, allowing for seamless interactions within and outside our company. It facilitates efficient team interactions, commenting, and compiling ideas. The tool’s ability to help in project management by compiling everything on a single platform before moving to design software like InDesign is fantastic. I appreciate that Miro is straightforward to set up and comes with a simple initial tutorial, which makes it user-friendly even for those using only a small portion of its capabilities. The features of Miro are very simple to use and enhance our productivity, as it is an efficient platform for project workflows. I am impressed by the capability to drag and drop information, compartmentalize data, and effectively use the comment and response feature. Such communication tools are incredibly beneficial as updates are organized, and changes are highlighted, making it easy to keep track of progress. The aspect where multiple team members can work parallelly on the same documents as if having a conversation is ingenious, supporting our productivity from anywhere without losing time. The possibility to bring diverse information, such as text and images, and integrate them into a cohesive presentation is invaluable for design and concept presentations. Overall, the streamlined experience, from the beginning test phase to the presentation stage, makes Miro a tool I'd choose repeatedly. Based on these features, I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of integration with key tools like Excel, InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, and AutoCAD a significant limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro centralizes our project management, facilitating team interactions and idea sharing. It compiles all project aspects on one board, enabling collaborative work, enhancing efficiency, and allowing simultaneous contributions without geographic restrictions.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about MIRO is its collaborative functionality, especially features such as Voting and the Timer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major dislikes, but I'm not a fan of the public sharpening option that requires a password. Each time, I have to send the password to my team members separately, which can be inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration becomes truly effective with this tool, allowing you to build product roadmaps, map out customer journeys, manage Kanban boards, and brainstorm together, all within a single shared workspace.

Powerful Visual Canvas with Need to Improve Loading

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for about 3 years as a canvas to capture ideas, which significantly helps me in the process of thinking and visualizing complex concepts. I love the ability to zoom in and zoom out on texts and diagrams, as it is a way of interacting with information that is very friendly to my brain and facilitates a more effective consolidation of knowledge and ideas. This tool allows me to make high-quality interpretations and presentations. I also frequently use it to present information to clients, conduct workshops, and as a collaborative medium to work with different people. I appreciate how Miro becomes a single source of truth for certain projects. I find particularly useful the feature that allows me to paste and play YouTube videos directly on the board, which enriches my presentations. Additionally, despite an initial learning curve, finding templates and the ease of copying and pasting elements, as well as the use of commands, have improved my user experience in managing the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it takes long to load. They should improve the latency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to consolidate ideas and presentations, improve the communication of complex concepts and team collaboration, which facilitates the visualization and organization of information.

Miro untangled our brainstorm chaos and turned ideas into tangible plans

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that Miro is our common brain. It has been amazing to visualize customer journeys and find areas that present some friction which we previously had not thought about. It is also the possibility to include various media types that makes our presentations so interesting and more educative to the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the massive size of templates alone can be daunting, as you simply seek to hasten a whiteboard. In addition, the control of permissions of very large boards having numerous collaborators becomes a bit fussy and demands additional consideration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During our plan on launching our product, we could hardly get all people on the same level. The space that Miro has provided us with has been a major brainstorming, interactive, and dependency visualisation space that has made our entire launch process much more flow and filled with fewer misunderstandings.

Excellent for Visual Collaboration, but Navigation on Large Boards Needs Improvement

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is its ability to bring clarity to complex ideas through visual collaboration. As a Business Analyst and Product Manager, I often need to map out workflows, user journeys, and product concepts—and Miro makes that seamless. The real-time collaboration, flexible canvas, and rich library of templates allow teams to co-create and iterate quickly, even across time zones.
It’s especially powerful during discovery and planning phases, where visualizing processes and requirements helps align stakeholders and uncover gaps early. Miro turns abstract ideas into structured, actionable visuals—which is invaluable in fast-paced product environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Miro is the navigation experience on large boards. The infinite canvas is powerful, but it can become overwhelming—especially when working with complex diagrams or multiple frames. I often find myself zooming in and out repeatedly or dragging the canvas unintentionally, which disrupts focus and slows down productivity.
Additionally, precise alignment and placement of elements can be tricky. When creating detailed process flows or wireframes, even small misalignments can affect clarity, and Miro doesn’t always make it easy to snap or position items accurately. These usability issues can be frustrating during live workshops or when working under tight timelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving several key problems in product and business analysis workflows, and it’s had a direct impact on how I work:

Problem: Fragmented collaboration across teams and tools
Benefit: Miro centralizes brainstorming, process mapping, and documentation in one shared space. This has helped me align stakeholders faster and reduce back-and-forth across emails, slides, and documents.

Problem: Difficulty visualizing complex workflows and requirements
Benefit: Miro’s flexible canvas and templates allow me to create clear process flows, user journeys, and wireframes. This improves stakeholder understanding and speeds up decision-making.

Problem: Limited engagement in remote workshops
Benefit: Miro enables real-time collaboration, making remote workshops more interactive and productive. I’ve used it to run discovery sessions, map funding workflows, and validate product features with cross-functional teams.

Overall, Miro helps me translate business complexity into visual clarity, which is essential for effective analysis, documentation, and product planning.

All-in-One Collaboration Powerhouse, But Needs Better Pen Support

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides a suite of features that are not only well developed and intuitive to use, but all located in one place, making the use of multiple different services and utilities far easier, faster and efficient. Implementing and especially integrating different tools to create comprehensive works that can be easily referred to, and crucially, referred to multiple times without the need for multiple different open applications or keystrokes, is one of the main reasons I utilize Miro and believe it to be the best white-boarding app. Miro's ability to sync to multiple devices means it also serves me well when I need to use it in different places, when I'm really busy and can't access my laptop, or for a quick check for a piece of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only noticeable downside I have noticed comes as a result of my line of work in particular. This is the explicit lack of a proper pen writing experience, with stroke based erasure and pen sensitivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves my problem of having a white-boarding/ mind mapping application that I can not only use on the go (with mobile devices or computers) but use as my daily driver for mind-mapping, idea planning, visual-aids, study planning and information collection as well as team collaboration. The most beneficial part of Miro is thus it's multi-tasking potential.
