Great for Brainstorming, Needs More Templates

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro quite intuitive and easy to use, which allowed me to start effectively from day one without needing any training. I love how it facilitates mind mapping and idea collaboration, especially in client meetings, enabling me to quickly model various diagrams and workflows for solution design. The large canvas provided by Miro is a feature I really enjoy as it allows me to organize all my diagrams in one place, helping me to get all my ideas organized together efficiently. This utility is particularly beneficial for running brainstorming sessions and communicating ideas to stakeholders. I also appreciate the share function, which allows me to share links so others can publicly view my work. Miro proves to be a great tool for me in organizing and presenting my thoughts clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I find the lack of a collapse and expand feature for ideas limiting. It would be beneficial to easily expand on notes and visualize node-to-node relationships. This feature would greatly enhance brainstorming capabilities.","The existing templates in Miro are not as rich. I would like to see more diverse templates that are being used creatively by the community, especially for dashboarding and basic representations.","I face difficulty integrating Miro with other tools effectively. Specifically, I would love to export designs and diagrams from Miro, but I haven't been able to do so, which limits my ability to use it in conjunction with other tools like Figma.","I struggle with limited licenses, which restricts collaboration with my team members. Although I can share links for public viewing, it is not as effective as having everyone actively participating in the platform."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming and collaboration, helping me organize and communicate ideas easily in client meetings, although limited licenses restrict team use, I share links for public viewing.

Unlimited Flexibility, But Document Features Need Improvement

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's an unlimited base and you can literally put whatever you want on there! I use it for my entire masters project and find it really simple!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I struggle with the document or presentation features and find those difficult to use a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place is really helpful as I tend to get lots of things lost.

Intuitive and Easy, But Needs More Flexibility for Complex Mind Maps

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is simple to use, with a very intuitive user interface. It also offers some basic templates to help you get started. I find it challenging to switch from Miro to other tools, as they tend to have a steeper learning curve, but using Miro itself feels straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to complain about, but I do find that it sometimes lacks the flexibility that Figjam offers. For example, when I tried to create a mind map, I couldn't move my pointers in different directions. As the mind map grows larger, it also becomes harder to follow and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps me create user flows, which in turn makes it much easier for me to detail and explain them to my engineering team. Without a mind map or user flow, it's very difficult to cover all possible cases, but with this, I'm able to do so effectively.

    Computer Games

Very easy to access and use.

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's almost infinite baord that is able not to reduce the quailty of stuff, even when zoomed in and out. The fact that you can make mutiple boards and share them is also outstanding,
What do you dislike about the product?
it gets laggy, when using a low end device, with lots of things going on a board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to sort out my portfolio, without the issue of cramping and crowding.

Intuitive Visualization for Teams, but Needs More Templates and Export Options

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to easily visualize my thought process to explain complex relationships and connections between different topics by enabling easy to edit tools. Its very intuitive to use and simple boxes make it easy. Also colour coding items makes it a breeze. We use it weekly with our team to explore and refine ideas. Even my colleagoes who have never used Miro before have gotten the hang of it after showing my ideas on the Miro board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the visualization part is too large and in focus. I wish there was more templates and settings so one wouldnt need to reinvent the wheel every time. Its hard to convert the input to excel data aswell, as this would enable us to export relationship maps etc, in a table format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decluttering my brain and helping me sketch out my ideas digitally. Helps me to get my ideas across and put ideas into reality.

A Powerful Collaboration Tool for Creative Teams

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it incredibly easy to collaborate visually with team members, no matter where they are. The interface is intuitive, the templates are well-designed, and real-time collaboration feels smooth and responsive. I especially like how it integrates with tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Drive, which keeps our workflow efficient. It’s perfect for brainstorming sessions, project mapping, and agile planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that it can become a bit slow when working on very large boards with many elements. Also, the pricing can be high for smaller teams or startups, and some advanced features are locked behind premium plans. However, these issues don’t outweigh the overall usefulness of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of remote collaboration and visual communication. Before using it, brainstorming and planning sessions were difficult to organize online. Now, everything—from mind maps to project timelines—can be done in one shared space. It has eliminated the need for endless meetings and static slides, making teamwork faster, clearer, and more creative.

Fantastic Online Whiteboard for Brainstorming, Minor Lag and Automation Issues

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Non destructive online white board, great for brainstorming, creating diagrams and small project management, as well as keeping art references organised. It's like combining pureref and excalidraw. And then syncing it online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are laggy instances such as when using the "timeline" feature in a large database. There are little automisation options, for example to make tasks assign their own color, or dragging people to assign tasks doesn't always work. The AI functions are also basically worthless but I don't feel like they could contribute much anyways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro holds our game design document, as well as art inspiration and project management for the games and other productions we make.

  • October 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly interface its the better part for me, basically its super instinctive to use
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit more control on free accounts, like being able to delete boards from other users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing clarity for the processes within the company, as well as outlining automation flows and mapping data, has been valuable. This has helped to better understand and organize how tasks are managed and automated.

As a student in Interactive Media Management, Miro has been a game-changer for both academic and client-facing projects. My classmates and I use it to brainstorm ideas visually and collaboratively — even when we're working remotely. The intuitive interface makes it easy to organize thoughts, map out workflows, and iterate quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may be limiting for students or small teams.

Miro solves the challenge of organizing ideas visually and collaboratively, helping me and my classmates brainstorm, plan, and present concepts with clarity and flow, especially useful for client work and creative strategy.
