Best Way to Brainstorm and Iterate

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to brainstorm without a confined space. I also used it both in an academic setting and now in a professional setting and I find that it's the most effective way of showing multiple digital iterations at once and being able to compare them. The tools are great as well especially the sticky note function, it allows people to comment and engage in an informal way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sharing process a bit confusing/convoluted. There's always issues for me in sharing the board vs the whole team, especially in the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share cross platform ideas in a condensed way. Showing iterations of digital work and being able to digitally critique/collaborate.

Visual Workflow Mastery with Collaborative Ease

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create visual workflows and collaborate with the team in one place. I appreciate that Miro helps me visually organize ideas and structure workflows clearly in one place. The setup was quick and the interface is intuitive, so getting started didn't take much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes boards can feel cluttered when they get large. When this happens, there are too many elements on one canvas, which makes it harder to find specific sections and navigate quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visually organize ideas and structure workflows clearly in one place, solving challenges of planning complex processes and mapping onboarding flows.

Versatile but Overwhelming for Data Modeling

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's extensive capabilities and the lots of different options it offers when creating something. I find the ERD related visual tools particularly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The experience could be streamlined by role. For example, a data analyst/engineer probably only needs to use a fraction of what Miro has to offer. I can sometimes experience choice overload when trying to use Miro. It was hard to learn at first, not many instructions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me create visual aids to explain complex data pipelines. Its extensive capabilities offer lots of options when creating something.

Great tool for collaboration in Software Engineering

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think Miro has a great set of tools for collaboration between a diverse range of teams, from engineering to design. You are able to build interface mocks, cooperate in real time with your team mates(and see where their cursor are!!), create simple to complex diagrams to better visualize flows, and of course, it's super easy to find things and integrate with other tools like Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know but when diagramming, primarily for software engineering(drafting some database structure, fields, tables etc...), I don't feel very comfortable with Miro, I need always to work a little bit more to make things more pleasurable to be read and presented for others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today, I most use Miro for building documentation diagrams about our micro-services and architecture, and it works pretty well for us.

Visual and Efficient Organization with Miro

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much you can organize things in Miro, literally on a board, and you can arrange everything to your liking with the colors you want. It looks very aesthetic and, when integrating new people into the team, it is very eye-catching for them. Unlike reading a boring document, it is much more visual for organizing things, organizational charts, and such. Additionally, it's free, which is a notable advantage. I like it more than Notion because it's more visual for organizing documents and information. The initial setup is very comfortable and I always recommend it to people, I would give it a 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize myself and have clear ideas. I like that I can organize everything on a board in an aesthetic way, which is ideal when integrating new people into the team because it is more visually appealing than a document.

It was a little bit difficult at the beginning, but after searching around for a while, I figured it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone in the office can use it and create new boards. It’s also easy to find the different boards that have been created. It's good to have in meetings

Effortless Diagramming, Needs Better Integration Support

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro simplifies diagramming and provides enough tools to handle complex shapes and templates. It's easy to use, which means I can put together a diagram without any learning curve. Miro's performance is also commendable, and it's pleasant to view. The shapes and icons are readily available, which is great for creating architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, product roadmaps, and tech presentations. Overall, the initial setup is pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
* The default text is so small, the proportions are not good for presentations. * Embedding in Confluence and other iframe widgets are not so good. It also draws a canvas which is pretty useless in a Confluence document. * The integration with Atlassian's Confluence was not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro simplifies diagramming with easily available shapes and icons, plus it offers complex shapes and templates. It's easy to use without a learning curve, performs well, and is visually pleasant.
