Flexible, always evolving and great collaborative tool

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro every week and it has truly transformed the way I approach workflow mapping and planning visualization. I appreciate that there are constantly new features being introduced, each one enhancing its capabilities or making processes more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro would really benefit from performance improvements. It works well enough with smaller boards, but when collaborating with larger teams, the boards can become massive and performance often suffers, making it hard to manage. I also notice that there is a steep initial learning curve, as it can be difficult to figure out what options are available and where to locate them. However, once you get the basics down, this becomes less of a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool addresses the challenge of quickly iterating on resource allocation and workflow creation, mind mapping and more. While it's possible to do this on paper, moving elements around is difficult unless you use post-its, which can take up a lot of space. There are other online tools available, but they often lack the flexibility and quality of life features that this one provides. It also solves the collaboration challenges that emerged with the shift to remote work. With Miro, teams can easily collaborate in real time or asynchronously, regardless of their location.

Feature-Rich and Visually Engaging Collaboration Tool

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I regularly use it on my work, even when not in a collaborating context, I still find it useful to document, organize and structure my work. It is rich in features and visually appealing. Having the work shown in a visually-well presented way significantly increases the ability to understand what you are dealing with. Also the fact that everyone involved can interact on the board is great! And it's not complicated to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like some of the templates to be more available outside the Enterprise Business plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can document the structure of the systems that I am working in, so that I can increase the understandability, and keep everything in one place but organized by frames. This way it is easy to find and access what I need, helping me be more productive.

Great for Visual Collaboration, But AI Customization Is Limited

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it easy to visually capture your ideas. It’s also a great tool for communicating your thoughts and outlining next steps to your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The A.I. performs well, but there isn't much room for customization, and it tends to produce the same tables and flows each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is excellent for product management. Being able to visualize a roadmap and organize all the elements in one place really helps everything make sense. This approach leads to better estimation and greater accuracy in predicting when a product release will occur.

Collaborative and readable board that trumps over tons of documentation scattered across places

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very easy to use platform for anyone who hasn't used such a collaborative tool before. I personally enjoy the flexibility to embed various stuff into the board (from work items to mockups, document links) - making this a centralised destination for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up a board is a time taking process - although there are various templates, there's no straightforward way to extract all work items from a board and embed in a usable way to the board (or maybe I am not aware)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product person, Miro Board is extremely useful in the discovery phase as it can be utilised to document everything from user personas, interview synthesis to flowcharts, mockups and a potential roadmap. The AI plugin neatly summarizes diagrams and notes, minimising time to draw conclusions.

Very user friendly platform, can be shared with clients who are not familiar without having to provide training
What do you dislike about the product?
The boards can be slow when lots of information is needed in one place
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform helps to bring ideas together in one place allowing a more collaborative approach to shared tasks

Enhances Collaboration and Creativity Effortlessly

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro to be incredibly easy to use and straightforward, which was evident when I was added to my team by my manager without any complications. I love the collaborative workspace that Miro offers, as it allows us to brainstorm together effectively and work in the same space, which is essential for planning, brainstorming, and game design. The ability to see what my colleagues are thinking and share ideas visually makes communication much easier and more productive, especially in group collaboration. This is particularly beneficial for training students in game design, as we can see and provide direct feedback on their level design layouts. The workspace, notes, and shapes functions are some of the features I find most useful, and I primarily use them to create idea boards, level layouts for games, mood boards, and documentation. Additionally, the seamless integration with tools like Google Sheets and Google Drive complements our workflow perfectly. The group collaboration capabilities and creative possibilities that Miro offers keep me interested and confident in its use over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the absence of a chat function in Miro is a limitation, although I am not entirely sure how it could be implemented effectively. It's more of a nice-to-have feature that could potentially enhance the collaborative experience, but its lack doesn't significantly impact my current usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro facilitates game design collaboration by offering a visual and collaborative workspace, enhancing brainstorming and planning. It simplifies communication and offers real-time feedback during student training sessions, improving productivity and creativity.

Fast, Intuitive, and Perfect for Collaborative Product Concepting

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is my go-to tool for quickly drafting and visualizing high-level product concepts. It’s fast, intuitive, and perfect for collaboration. I can sketch an idea, get real-time input from design, tech, and business teams, and evolve the concept.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have sometimes struggled with selecting the right font size for different elements which can make boards feel inconsistent. Some of the AI features can be a bit confusing at times and feel like they could be evolved further to be more intuitive and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to visually map out user flows, journey maps, and product concepts. It offers a shared workspace where product, design, and engineering teams can collaborate in real time, which helps minimize miscommunication. For me, it's the simplest way to bring high-level concepts to life visually.

Miro Makes Cross-Team Collaboration Effortless and Organized

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great platform for connecting with peers on projects and brainstorming new ideas. As an Associate Product Manager, I primarily use Miro to collaborate with our design team on video projects and to monitor our progress. We set up boards to organize plans, ideas, and "cross-team collaborations."

When we invite someone from outside our current project to join us, Miro makes it simple to share our progress and ideas, making collaboration much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, it takes a little longer than usual for the specific page to load, but I wouldn't say this causes any real obstacles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with colleagues has become much easier.

Effortless Collaboration with Intuitive UI

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for five years primarily for process mapping and ideation. I was introduced to it by a friend's recommendation and didn’t switch from another vendor since Miro was my first choice. The initial setup was exceedingly straightforward, and I found the user experience to be very intuitive. One of the standout features for me is Miro's capability to facilitate ideation and enable effective collaboration with my colleagues, even in a remote work environment. We can work simultaneously and stay updated on each other’s contributions, much like using a shared whiteboard. The 'follow' feature is particularly beneficial as it allows me to guide colleagues through new maps efficiently. Overall, the ease and intuitiveness of the product make it effortless to use, which is a significant reason I would continue to choose Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more useful templates or the ability to create my own templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for remote ideation and collaboration, allowing my team to work together in real-time, similar to a whiteboard, which enhances our productivity and simplifies our process mapping.
