What do you like best about the product?
Infinite canvas to display your ideas, able to present frames, the docs and the excel sheet helps a lot to illustrate what documents is included in each process step
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite difficult to organize, finding and looking back at all the boards we have. A combination between the ability to organize boards like Notion + Miro would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Co-creating maps, process, decision making, keeping each other up-to-date

A top tier collaborative whiteboard

  • February 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro with an org team of 40+ people and I'd say we get a lot of value out of it. It is our default diagramming tool, for which its openness and shareability knock Office/Sharepoint apps out of the park. I haven't used many other whiteboard tools (e.g. FigJam) but I'd say that the focus on whiteboard features helps to keep Miro sleek and not overburdened with design choices. It's a refined experience. It's easy for a lot of users to collaborate; we use it for jam sessions with 20+ participants. I have also led presentations and videos driven from Miro and found that to be a good experience. The keyboard shortcuts are very good once you learn them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other users in my team tend to experience a learning curve and their muscle memory from other illustration/whiteboarding apps doesn't carry over. Text sizing is a bit of an unsolved problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synchronous and Async collaboration and communication; getting tech and BA teams on the same page about goals, approach, challenges, technical solutions, etc.

Flexible tool to get ideas across and to collaborate.

What do you like best about the product?
The vast canvas, and the ability to add in multiple types of graphical elements. Easy and intuitive to use, without having to cross over too many hoops. Far exceeds the competition in terms of simultaneous collaboration for most work scenarios that need to be done across locations. Such as - brainstorming, conducting review sessions, voting on ideas, etc. I use this not only within my team, but also for cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I'm over-awed by the tool's UI prowess and collaboration capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to visualize in an intuitive way for most workflows where collaboration across multiple people are needed.

Same board can be used commonly within team.
What do you dislike about the product?
it is little slow when we all opens up together during the same meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is solving the major issue where we get all different team member's idea on any new implementation

Collaboration Between New Business Partners

  • February 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked the opportunity for each person on our team to have their own colored sticky note. I like the variety (though I would ask for more color options even) of colors to use. I like being able to grab and move groups. And, I just started using different template options. But, most significant is the ability for our team to be on the board at separate and multiple times and also working together to move items around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I got lost in the connecting arrows but I figured it out after a bit. I would also ask you to allow for text orientation on the arrow with text in it. If I point the arrow from left to right, the orientation is correct but when flipped, I couldn't figure out how to turn the text so that it wasn't upside down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind mapping/dumping. Grouping ideas and the working out of those ideas. I really like being able to enlarge the space as we grow the idea.

How miro helps me track every project in a fast and visual way

What do you like best about the product?
I am Product Manager, and today I manage more than 8 projects in the same time. The main value for me, is that I can see every update and concepts in the same page.
- I use a lot of sticky notes to track fast thinking, and connect them with arrows.
- I use cards, kanban and timeline to communicate stakeholders and manage tasks.
- I like to user every kind of forms to show ideas and wireframes.
- I update my boards every day, and encorouge every team member to create and update boards.
- Mindmaps also help me to structure ideas and transform simple thoughts into actions.
- I use doccuments to track important changes to report my leaders.
- Oftenly I use boards to direct internal and external dynamics.
The way Miro helps me visualizing everything linked, makes me feel really confortable.
I never needed support since day one. The software is easy to start and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only think that block me is the feature table. The feature is pretty nice for simple listing, but there is no formula into it. If there is a way to import Google Sheets, in a way that users can calculate things, it would be the perfect productivity tool. Notion is a pretty good app that can make it, but the sense of freedom in Miro is way bigger.

Organization, Prototyping, and Collaboration in a beautiful UI

  • February 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is genuinely amazing to work with. Everything feels fast, snappy, and it gorgeous. I find it very quick to work with to prototype and build out ideas or organize messy initiatives into concrete action plans and distribution of work. Miro is flexible and allows you to customize how things look with objects that stick to one another and allow seamless editing. Not feeling like creating something from scratch? Pick from one of the built in templates. Additionally you can easily integrate with many of the other common tools that your team is likely using so that it slots itself into your workflows and diagramming seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to complain about. I do think that sometimes the sharing settings can be annoying and wish there were options to show all names on all sticky notes without having to highlight them but it is such a minor nitpick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us to take messy and unaligned thoughts across our teams and turn them into actionable insights
