Great tool for whiteboarding, planning and ideation
What do you like best about the product?
in my work, I manage everything from content calendars to social media campaigns, and Miro has become my primary visual workspace for all these activities. My favorite feature is the Bulk Sticky Notes—it’s ideal for fast-paced brainstorming. When we’re generating ideas for multiple clients, I can paste up to 50 taglines or caption ideas into Miro, and each one is instantly transformed into its own sticky note. This makes it simple for us to cluster, color-code, and develop campaign directions efficiently. I also depend on the Frames + Outline feature. I use it to structure client presentations, treating each frame as a separate "slide"—one for strategy, another for visuals, and another for content. The outline panel allows me to navigate the presentation just like a deck, which helps even our most chaotic brainstorming boards appear organized and professional during client reviews. These features together help us transform our brainstorming sessions from disorganized to structured and story-driven. It truly feels like having a design tool, whiteboard, and presentation software combined. The customer support is excellent as well, with AI-enabled assistance providing instant help whenever I need it. It’s straightforward to implement and makes collaboration easy. I use it every week for all our projects and client work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I’ve noticed is when we export large boards as PDFs to share, the layout can occasionally shift a bit. While this isn’t a major issue, I do wish there were a “perfect export” option available in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our campaigns, Miro has addressed the biggest challenge: creative fragmentation. Previously, most of our strategy decks were stored in one location, mood boards in another, and copy was kept in a shared document. Now, miro lets me consolidate all these elements onto a single, dynamic board. This makes it much easier to brainstorm, visualize, and manage campaigns from the initial idea through to final delivery. Miro also enhances transparency—my bosses appreciate being able to watch our creative process unfold visually. Rather than sending countless drafts, we simply share the board, guide them through our workflow, and collect immediate feedback. This approach saves time and fosters trust. Additionally, Miro’s AI tools have been invaluable for clustering similar content ideas, summarizing brainstorming sessions, and quickly pinpointing key themes. It truly feels like having an assistant that transforms chaotic creative thoughts into clear, organized insights.

This allows me to present and move through each stage as if they were slides, which keeps the team focused on the next steps.

When a board becomes large and filled with many images and stickies, it can occasionally slow down. While this isn’t a major issue, it can interrupt the workflow slightly. Additionally, newcomers might initially feel overwhelmed by the number of tools visible on the screen. However, once they understand how frames function, using the platform becomes much easier.
I also wish that exporting boards as PDFs would preserve the exact on-screen layout, as sometimes the arrangement shifts a little. Aside from these points, Miro has consistently met all my needs.

Intuitive Collaboration with Miro—Powerful Features, Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The visual collaboration Miro gives is super intuitive and offers such variety. Also, compared to others tools I've used like Visio or Confluence's white board or draw-io, this offers real-time collaboration with teams. One feature I admire is the integration with Jira and teams we have, it helps a lot ! Really, it's an awesome tool for brainstorming and it has been my go to tool so far.

I think the learning curve was a little overwhelming at first but once you get used to it, it's fine. But it can be intimidating at first for any new users

Allowed to collaborated easily with people on my team and organization. We have work sessions and mainly use miro. People have a tendency to not read documentation but when you present them a visual diagram, their eyes are more attracted to it.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for brainstorming with my development team on how to develop a solution for the projects assigned to my team.It helps multiple users to collaborate on the same board in Realtime and all updates are saved instantaneously in the cloud without any manual saving required .I like the unlimited canvas feature in miro and also has a lot of predefined templates to get started with.I use it regularly during my daily sync meeting with my team to update any new ideas on the board ,track the progress of the team and for brainstorming
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is a bit slow and takes time to load if there are a lot of multiple widgets ,screenshots etc .But is fast to load in most of the cases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps to brainstorm effortlessly especially while working remotely as it allows multiple team member to work on the board at the same time while in a online meeting .Its really easy to share the board to multiple users just using a link and the updated board is always accessible in the same link which makes sharing and access to board easy.
Great for Quick Collaboration, Needs Better Organization Tools

It's simple to make charts, quickly visualize information, and collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping things clean and organized is challenging. The platform tends to feel a bit messy, and there isn't really a way to standardize, create templates, or arrange items in grids or structured layouts. It's also confusing to understand what to access where and feels a bit 'big' sometimes.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been really helpful for collaborating with remote teams at several companies I've worked at. I've run everything from retros to workshops in there and use it for collaborative process mapping, product roadmaps, project management timelines, brainstorming, icebreaker activities, and even for creating an initial curriculum outline for a new program I was building.
I like that it's quite flexible with the objects and formatting you can get into a given board, so it really does serve a variety of purposes. Some tools that are useful for team activities are the timer and stickies, plus the ability for asynchronous commenting.
I was also really happy when Miro started allowing the integration of embedded Docs and other assets (I remember when it first came out), so it's easy to keep or reference all of the documentation for a project in one place. That makes it a great place to collect a bunch of background research, which I do frequently as a product manager and executive.

Miro has been progressively improving some of the earlier issues I had when I first started using the tool, and they have a good pace of introducing new features.
If I had to list a downside, it'd be how heavy Miro is in the browser. It used to crash my older computer on a regular basis if I tried to run a video call at the same time. I've since upgraded, but I can still see it slowing things down on occasion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it with both teams and clients as a source of truth for different business processes and documentation. Since it allows for collaboration and commenting, it's a good place to keep all of the relevant history, related initiatives, background research, etc. together, and it helps with introducing things like a roadmap to the team in a more interactive way (vs. something like a presentation). It's easier to modify than many other tools, so boards and assets can be kept up to date for everyone to reference.
It also makes async and remote collaboration better for teams that can't get together in person. It emulates in-person retro or brainstorming sessions so I can still get productive feedback from the teams I work with.

Great for Collaboration, But Large Boards Can Lag
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to collaborate, reliable and easy to understand how to use, We use it almost everyday, and it's easy to integrate it into our workflow.

When boards get too big, it becomes a little laggy and slow to load.
