Great for System Design
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool for planning, system design, and collaboration. While it’s not a replacement for tools like Lucidchart or draw.io for detailed technical diagrams, it excels in real-time teamwork and high-level brainstorming. If your team works remotely or frequently collaborates on architectural decisions, Miro is well worth considering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance on Large Boards – Complex boards with many elements can lag, especially in long sessions.
Version Control – No native Git-like versioning, making it tricky to track changes in technical diagrams.

Multiple developers, designers, and stakeholders can work on the same board simultaneously, making remote team discussions smooth.
A tool all departments should be using
What do you like best about the product?
Miro gave us space to map our marketing activity. Boards serve as Brand Plans, Workshop space, brainstorming rooms. There are loads of useful templates (I work in Marketing) and elements, making the content visually appealing and fun to work with. I also love the integration of Miro with Jira to track project. You can literally turn your idea into a task with one click. Everyone agrees that this is a game changing tool for our team productivity.
We have implemented Miro from December 2025 but everybody in the team learned it very quickly. Now Miro is our companion and we use it everyday.

What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot see any downsides to be fair. Price could be prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can "dump" all ideas and shape tham into a comprehensive plan that then we push to Jira. We are all visual people so Miro frames work for us much better than powerpoint. And if we need a powerpoint, we can easily export frames to that format.
Works best with iterations, and retrospectives, as it supports agile methodologies.
What do you like best about the product?
It blends simplicity with powerful digital whiteboards to visualize projects, significantly boosting productivity and team synergy.Fostering real-time collaboration across teams, regardless of distance
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro may become slow when multiple people use the dashboard simultaneously. The free version contains advertisements, and access to more developed features requires a paid subscription
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves my collaboration and project management challenges by providing a central, visual workspace for my team to plan, and execute projects together, regardless of location. This leads to better communication, increased productivity, and more innovative solutions. The integration with my existing tools streamlines my workflow, saving me time and effort.

The good, the pain and the recommendation
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who works entirely rometly, I believe the real strength of Miro lies in its versatility for team collaboration. The infinite canvas is a game-changer - it's like having a giant wall where you can just keep adding ideas without running out of space. I particularly appreciate how seamlessly multiple team members can work simultaneously, making remote brainstorming sessions feel almost like we're all in the same room.
The template library is extensive and saves tons of time. Instead of starting from scratch, you can grab pre-made frameworks for everything from sprint planning to customer journey mapping.
Integration with other tools is another major plus. The platform plays nice with Slack, Jira, and other common workplace apps, which means less time switching between different windows and more time actually getting work done.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is powerful, it does have some frustrating aspects. The learning curve can be steep for new users - I've seen team members get overwhelmed by all the features and toolbars initially. It's like handing someone the controls to an airplane cockpit without proper training.
One significant limitation that really bugs me is the lack of free-flowing, natural drawing capabilities like what you find in Excalidraw. When you're trying to quickly sketch out an idea, Miro's drawing tools feel somewhat rigid and mechanical. Sometimes you just want to make a quick, organic-looking flowchart without fighting with perfectly straight lines and precise shapes.

Miro is an Essential Tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Manager, Miro has become an indispensable tool in my daily workflow. I use it every day for diagrams, brainstorming sessions, retrospectives, organization, documentation, and research. It has completely transformed the way I collaborate and structure ideas.
Another major advantage is its stability and performance. I have worked with large boards filled with data, and Miro has never crashed or slowed down. That level of reliability is rare in collaborative tools.
Additionally, the AI-powered features have been a game-changer. The team prioritizes meaningful innovations, rolling out updates quickly and efficiently. The AI enhancements genuinely improve productivity rather than feeling like unnecessary additions.
Miro's implementation and integration process is seamless, making it easy to incorporate into any workflow. And about Customer Support, I've never needed because everything just works fine.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their workflow and make teamwork more seamless.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is easy to start using, its vast flexibility can be overwhelming for new users. The freedom it provides is great, but it can also be confusing at first, making it hard to understand the best practices for navigation, zooming, and structuring boards properly.
I personally had to watch YouTube tutorials to learn how to keep my boards organized and avoid them becoming chaotic. For beginners, this initial learning curve can feel intimidating, and some guidance on best practices directly within the platform could make the onboarding experience even smoother.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves one of the biggest challenges in collaboration and visual thinking—providing a flexible yet structured space where teams can brainstorm, plan, and document ideas seamlessly. As a Product Manager, I need a tool that supports everything from retrospectives to research and strategy alignment, and Miro brings all of that into one place.
The biggest benefit for me is the ability to organize complex information visually while ensuring my team stays aligned, even when working remotely. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we can map out workflows, share insights, and collaborate in real-time, all in one dynamic workspace.

Miro: The ultimate collaboration & ideation tool
What do you like best about the product?
The inifinite possibilities - I love that I can zoom out and pan all over the board. The flexility of an inifinite canvas combined with shape and text tools and so many plug-ins makes Miro such a powerful tool. I've used it for ideation, Jira ticket tracking, team status, annotations, presentations and so much more. When I have a collaborative project, collaborators jump in with the smallest learning curve and are able to get to work right away without focusing on the software limiting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to create organic shapes and a challenging object stack.
For more complex projects, I wish I could drag objects through a stack order and have a better way of selecting objects that are fully or partially covered.
I wish I could create more organic vector shapes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the business problem of disconnected teammates. I work in a fully remote environment with teammates around the world. In Miro, we can come together and collaborate and learn about each other. We have a virtual "office space" where each person has their own "desk" where they can post status updates and photos of their lives. We also collect product ideas asynchronously using Miro and leave comments for others to respond to when they start their workday.
