Important Tool for Collaborating in the Architecture and Design Space

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been an integral part of my career in design and architecture, from the academic environment to the professional world. It is a space where my colleagues and I informally charette on designs, workshop solutions, and share ideas with consultants and clients. The tool is incredibly approachable and easy to use, with a variety of tools and features. Whether I am in person with my team or connecting over video, we are using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
As designers, we are often bringing in images, PDFs, and other medium into the Miro board. With all of these files, the board can sometimes be slow or crash, especially when sharing the board on video, with many different people are collaborating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro acts as the 'drawing board' for me and my colleagues to collaborate across offices. Moreover, it allows me and my colleagues to quickly iterate on ideas while we are together in person, without having to find a white board or other drawing surface.

Powerful Collaboration, Needs Mobile Enhancement

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the tags feature incredibly helpful for tracking task status, enabling our team to efficiently manage tasks and deadlines. Miro's powerful platform is excellent for planning and keeps our team organized, making project management much easier. Additionally, I appreciate how Miro allows me to swiftly see my completed and upcoming tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the mobile app version of Miro underwhelming as it still needs some enhancements. While it's useful for quick reviews and comments, it lacks smoothness and features compared to the web version. Additionally, when I first started using Miro, I found it hard to understand and set up; the initial process felt difficult until I became more accustomed to it. Moreover, there's a need for enhanced timesheet features, including start and end times for tasks, which would improve tracking for our project deadlines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to streamline project planning and task management, making it easy to track progress with task tags and deadlines, enhancing team productivity.

Miro Makes Remote Collaboration as Easy as a Real Whiteboard

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In the age of remote work, Miro is the most intuitive tool to replace the "gather around a whiteboard moment". When youre trying to figure something out visually, or rally the team around an idea, you dont want to be fighting with a tool that slows your flow. Miro is so intuitive, it feels as natural as scribbling on a white board (but provides visual components and organization that look like you've spent hours on presentation). I use it for user journeys, providing QA to dev teams, documenting before/afters, workshops - everything! Couldnt work without Miro in my day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing is a little confusing, im never quite sure if who im sharing with will have the appropriate access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration in a remote/async work environment.

Flexible for Solo work and Collaboration

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly flexible for doing all sorts of tasks, from solo brainstorming, to large group collaborative activities, and many things inbetween.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the updates about something changed on a board that I don't really care about, and can't seem to see an easy way to know exactly what changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us gain alignment on topics in a visual and collaborative way. For cases where written docs aren't ideal, and visual elements help to communicate ideas and get feedback, Miro is our go to.

Nice and visual

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using because it allows me to organize my ideas in a more visual way. It’s also something we use a lot at the company to map out the workflows we need, so everyone can share their input on what should be prioritized. Since the ideas are displayed visually, it helps everyone understand what’s going on, how far along the project is, and what the next steps are. So, I think it’s really beneficial to always have meetings or present proposals using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a bit hard to understand how to use it sometimes, but I think with time we all get the hang of it. Iit would be really nice if you had a short course on your website, kind of like what HubSpot do, where they offer quick training inside their own platform and even give you a certificate. It would be great if, for example, everyone in our company could take that course so we’d all know how to use Miro more efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think I managed to present the idea to the whole team in a simple way, where they can also make changes and share suggestions on how the process should move forward. The biggest challenge we had was making sure everyone understood the ideas and the workflow, and Miro solved that.

Easy to Start with Miro, almost no onboarding needed

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very straightforward to use. If you are comfortable with technology, you likely won't need any in-depth onboarding. You can simply sign up and begin creating right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Miro offers so much flexibility and allows users to create almost anything, it can sometimes become disorganized and difficult to keep the board clear, particularly when many people are collaborating. Introducing more detailed permission settings could help address this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind mapping, strategy road maps, visual collaboration

Great for Mind Mapping , Wire-framing and Team Collaboration

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like this tool for mind mapping, designing mobile app flows, and creating wireframes for my mobile application. Best part is, it lets me collaborate with my team with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks the flexibility I need to customize flows or mindmaps according to my requirements. For example, I would like the option to add different shapes to represent various processes within a flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allows me to brainstorm ideas and develop them further on a whiteboard, making it easy to create flows and wireframes that help me visualize my concepts. Overall, it's an excellent platform for bringing ideas to life onto a collaborative board and working on them with others.
