Empowers Teaching with Real-Time Collaboration

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro facilitates real-time collaboration, making it a great tool for interacting and brainstorming with others. The ability to use an infinite whiteboard really helps in tracking and building ideas from one meeting to another. I also enjoy the flexibility of writing and highlighting in different colors, which enhances clarity and focus on important elements. Additionally, copying and pasting links, diagrams, and writing on top of graphs are features I find particularly useful for organizing information. I definitely recommend Miro to others as I haven't found anything better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it cumbersome that using Miro effectively requires multiple pieces of equipment like a magic mouse, trackpad, iPad, Apple Pen, and computer. It seems excessive to manage all these tools just to navigate and make full use of the platform. Additionally, moving around the board and zooming can be frustrating depending on the type of computer and tools available. Another aspect is the messy and confusing nature of navigating between boards. It would be better if Miro allowed for a more organized structure, like pages within pages or boards within boards, to reduce clutter and enhance usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product enhances real-time collaboration, allowing for seamless idea sharing and continuity across sessions, especially beneficial for remote teaching.

Very easy to create a large scoreboard of your business

What do you like best about the product?
huge layout, multiple "panels" at once, can be linked to each other easily. Great place to have all your ideas in ONE SPOT. Because it is sharable with my executive coach, the board is interactive. We use it like email or sharing links, ideas, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Icons and drawing tools not intuitive. Some of the templates are "set" (e.g. can't change font size). No auditing to see who left what text or image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
great place to note take with my executive coach. interactive. I can go back and see everything in ONE place just by zooming in and out. It's one big document with everything rather than multiple files making it super easy to find things. needs MORE colours

would be even better if it intergrated with slack or some other communication / texting platform

Perfect for Remote & Asynchronous Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Miro makes it to brainstorm and share ideas with the team. It’s super helpful for collecting inspiration images, doing quick wireframes, and getting feedback via comments. It's easy to get the whole team signed up and involved since the tools are pretty intuitive. We use it on a weekly basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards can get messy fast if a lot of people are editing at once. It would be nice to have more control over layout and visual consistency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the chaos of early-stage collaboration. Instead of juggling docs, slides, and random Slack threads, we have one shared space to brainstorm, give feedback, and plan things visually.

A Powerful Visual Tool with Room to Grow

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro every day to map out ideas, collaborate with my team, and bring clarity to complex workflows. It’s incredibly easy to implement—no steep learning curve, no complicated setup. The intuitive interface and flexible canvas make it simple to get started and even easier to keep using. It’s a reliable tool for turning abstract thinking into something tangible and shareable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its strengths, there are several areas where Miro could improve:

- The shape library is limited, which restricts how I can visually differentiate elements.
- Sticky notes lack customization—I’d like to change their colour and shape to suit different contexts.
- Font support is inconsistent. Roboto Condensed doesn’t render correctly, and overall font options are too few.
- Jira integration is locked behind a premium plan, which limits how I connect my workflows.
- Presentation mode forces a traditional slide-by-slide format. I’d prefer a non-linear, more explorable experience—something that lets me zoom in and out across the canvas and guide people through ideas dynamically, rather - - than being boxed into a fixed sequence.
- Tables are pre-populated with formatting that I have to manually remove before starting.
- Basic functionality like adding links to tables shouldn’t require a paid upgrade.
- Arrow defaults can’t be set, which slows down diagramming.
- Snap-to-grid doesn’t behave reliably, making alignment more tedious than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps bridge the gap between synchronous and asynchronous collaboration. Whether I’m working live with colleagues or leaving behind structured thinking for others to pick up later, it keeps everyone aligned. It’s especially valuable for diagramming systems, mapping user journeys, and breaking down complex problems visually. Instead of relying on static documents or long email threads, I can build shared understanding quickly and iteratively. It’s become a central space for collaborative problem solving and planning.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very easy-to-use collaboration platform that allows for a very simple workflow. It is easy to implement and easy to connect with the company's workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One disadvantage I see is that the "free" plan is very limited in terms of capacity, having only 3 boards available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have helped me to structure the strategic and commercial planning process of my company.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is perfect for me. Before using it, I was constantly switching between project management softwares, moodboards, task management platforms etc. And with ADHD it gets overwhelming and distracting but Miro keeps it all in one place. I use it all of the time throughout the day and its been a life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really any major downsides ive come across, maybe an increase in file size upload but thats not really much of a hassle to deal with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping solve team collaboration on a single platform. Me and the team love how we can follow eachother, interect, vote, and make the creative process much more interactive and fun

I love the ability to create extensive flowcharts without limits and the Stripe Atlas startup plan to use it for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like you to offer a greater variety of shapes and icons to use and graph.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is useful for me to collaborate in a coordinated manner with my partner.

Best app to map my knowledge

  • October 10, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about learning with Miro is how seamlessly it connects across various platforms. Whether I'm on my Mac or iPad, I can quickly access my boards and pick up right where I left off each day, without any disruptions. This level of flexibility keeps me organized and allows me to learn efficiently, regardless of my location. I also appreciate being able to add pictures and emojis to my boards, as it makes visualizing information much easier. Another feature I find very helpful is the ability to export my board and insert it into Word. The only time I contacted customer support was to gain access to the app, and they responded very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I genuinely enjoy using Miro for learning, I have noticed that the board tends to slow down when I add a large number of elements. As my projects expand and I include more content in my concept maps, the performance occasionally lags. Additionally, when there are many items on the board, especially on iPad, it can be difficult to select or move the specific object I want. Despite these issues, they are not significant enough to prevent me from using Miro daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a tax law student, I often find the material to be extremely complex. Miro has been invaluable in helping me deconstruct and organize dense legal concepts into visual formats that make them much easier to grasp. I appreciate its cross-platform accessibility, which lets me review and create concept maps whenever I need to, whether I'm using my laptop or my iPad. This level of flexibility really supports my learning and keeps me engaged. Even when my boards become large and the app slows down, I continue to depend on Miro because it genuinely improves the way I study.

Very useful tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro to create my marketing campaigns: it allows me to gather everything in one place, to create different type of content but most importantly to share it easily and work on it with my team. It is useful to create timeline, articulate the content and also very useful for workshops with different teams/ people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike on my side, I use this tool a lot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- articulation of content when planifying my marketing campaigns
- give structure to my different ideas
- struggling to find information about a project when there is multiple files

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it so easy to share ideas with colleagues and across organisations
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing stands out as a dislike. It can sometimes be a little slow to load but this has only happened when a board has been overwhelmed with information
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main uses are for sharing ideas internally, and programme managing with external organisations. It makes collaboration very easy
