Excellent software for each stage of the research software

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am a user researcher and love how well set up Miro is for each stage for the research process. I use it for workshops to outlining research question, note taking during interview sessions, analysis and sometimes for reporting results back.
It is very easy to collaborate with others in the team using Miro (as long as they have a licence), and features such as the timers, background music, voting etc. make this really straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is great when everyone has a licence but if you are trying to run a worskshop using Miro and not everyone has a licence it is very tricky. I have had a number of sessions where I've had to scrabble around trying to get everyone access to the board just before which isn't ideal.

It find it easy to navigate on a desktop screen, but it can sometimes be fiddly on a laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a platform to bring people together to do remote workshops.
Having an electronic platform to easily do qual analysis without using trees worth of post it notes.
Allowing collaboration with people in different locations at each stage of the research process.

Enhances Visual Collaboration, Minor Text Formatting Hurdles

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the platform's visual nature extremely helpful for working with my team and clients. Miro enhances collaboration, turning it into a default approach for meetings. I enjoy using features like diagramming, presentation boards, emojis, stickers, and templates, which all contribute to an engaging experience in the Mirrorverse.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the copy-pasting functionality in Miro to be less efficient, which can be frustrating when trying to transfer information. Additionally, formatting text sometimes proves to be difficult, making it challenging to present my work as desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is visual and enhances collaboration with my team and clients, making virtual and physical interactions more fluid and meetings more collaborative.

The backbone of every enterprise workshop I run

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’m a Senior Consultant working with enterprise clients across multiple industries, and Miro has been an absolute game-changer. I use it for every workshop — from strategy alignment to discovery sessions and co-creation sprints — and it’s consistently the most reliable, flexible, and intuitive tool in my stack.

The ability to structure complex conversations visually, involve multiple stakeholders in real time, and capture every idea in one place is unmatched. I’ve used it with Fortune 500 clients and nimble scale-ups alike, and it scales beautifully.

I genuinely wouldn’t be able to do my job without Miro. It’s become the digital room for collaboration, creativity, and clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
When boards get really large or filled with high-res content, performance can slow down a bit, especially during live workshops with many participants. Nothing major, but it can interrupt flow for a few seconds. Other than that, it’s as close to perfect as a collaboration tool gets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves one of the biggest challenges in enterprise consulting — getting cross-functional teams aligned quickly. It turns fragmented discussions, complex strategies, and scattered notes into one shared visual workspace.

It’s helped me run faster, more structured workshops, improve collaboration across regions, and capture every insight in real time. The result? Clearer decisions, smoother stakeholder buy-in, and less time lost translating ideas between tools or teams.

Miro solves my problem of managing multiple files by consolidating everything into a single, easy-to-use canvas. The platform's tools for creating visualizations, like user journeys and decision boxes, are incredibly beneficial. Miro's simplicity in setup allowed me to start using it immediately without any hurdles. I'm also impressed by the AI feature enhancements, which facilitate brainstorming and expand my creative options.

Ideas to impact, in one canvas

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration is impressively fast, even when working with distributed teams. The combination of the infinite canvas and frames allows for a smooth transition from chaotic brainstorming to organized results, all within a single platform. Templates help accelerate the kickoff process, while integrations with tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, Drive, and Figma ensure that work remains connected. Features such as comments, @mentions, timers, and voting help maintain focus during workshops. Miro Assist is particularly useful for clustering sticky notes and summarizing sessions, which significantly reduces the time needed for post-workshop cleanup.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with very large, asset-heavy boards, performance can become sluggish, and the search function occasionally fails to find older cards. The permissions for guests or external users can be confusing, often feeling like an all-or-nothing approach. Exporting to PDF or PNG sometimes results in a loss of scale or legibility, and offline support remains limited. While the diagramming features are reliable, they still lag behind those of specialized tools. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive for those who only collaborate occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work remains organized and aligned without the need for excessive meetings, as a single board serves as the definitive source of truth. This helps decisions hold firm and accelerates project cycles. Remote collaboration is seamless thanks to real-time co-editing, commenting, and built-in timers. Brainstorming sessions are more productive, with ideas evolving from simple stickies into clusters, maps, and actionable plans. New team members can quickly get up to speed by exploring linked boards, frames, and templates. Handoffs are more efficient, with designers, PMs, and engineers reaching consensus on flows and edge cases before tickets are created. The use of reusable templates ensures that teams can consistently run the same effective ceremonies every time.
