Great tool for collaboration, workshops, mind-maps

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become one of my favorite tools for running product positioning and messaging workshops. It’s incredibly easy to use, especially when it comes to mapping out ideas and getting the team aligned quickly. The visual canvas makes it simple to organize thoughts, frameworks, and feedback in real time.
What really stands out is how collaborative it is. Whether we’re using sticky notes to brainstorm, voting on key messages, or just commenting on each other’s inputs, everyone stays engaged and visible throughout the session. It’s great for keeping momentum and making sure every voice is heard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Miro is intuitive for many, new users—especially those unfamiliar with digital whiteboards—might need a bit of guidance to navigate the interface and tools effectively.
Also, while Miro offers a free tier, advanced features (like voting, timers, and integrations) are locked behind paid plans. For larger teams or organizations, the cost can add up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Fragmented collaboration - Before Miro, workshops often relied on scattered tools—slides, docs, spreadsheets, and emails—which made it hard to keep everyone aligned and engaged. Now, I can quickly map out frameworks, gather input, and refine messaging collaboratively—without waiting for follow-up emails or meetings.

2. Lack of visual thinking space - Traditional tools don’t support freeform thinking. Miro gives teams a shared visual canvas to brainstorm, structure ideas, and iterate in real time. Miro also helps visualize complex ideas and strategies, making it easier to communicate with product, sales, and leadership.

3. Limited engagement in remote workshops - Remote sessions can feel passive. Miro’s interactive features (like sticky notes, voting, timers) make workshops dynamic and inclusive. Everyone has a voice during workshops, which leads to richer insights and stronger buy-in for the positioning work.

Add Support for 3D Asset Integration in Boards

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That overview of entire doc at one glance when zooming out. That totally awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing is there that i don't like. Simply great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve been using Miro extensively for visual collaboration and concept development, and it’s an excellent platform for organizing 2D images, documents, and creative ideas. However, as 3D workflows become more integrated into design and product pipelines, it would be extremely useful if Miro could also support 3D asset previews and interaction — similar to how images, PDFs, and videos are currently handled.

Adding support for 3D model formats (like .glb, .gltf, .obj, or .fbx) would make Miro a more powerful tool for teams working in:

Product design

3D asset creation and visualization

Architecture and engineering

Game and film production pipelines

It would be nice if it had simple automation features like Excel-style calculations, automatic dates, and so on

What do you like best about the product?
It makes visualising business processes easy. Is my go-to for flowchart mapping, and sharing understanding with varying stakeholders. It has a variety of features which ensures that processes, flowcharts and designs are clearly communicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Background default should be white, navigating around the board is not intuitive, there should be a way to quickly switch between the click and the hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily sharing complex ideas with loads of different people.

This tool is very easy to use—simple, yet effective. I use it all the time to brainstorm menu ideas, and it makes sharing and collaborating with team members effortless.

Miro has transformed how we work as a business and with our clients!

What do you like best about the product?
Speed! Miro is fast, responsive and intuitive. Our whole team use it frequently for presentations, collaborative reviews, mind maps, planning, sales and quick fire research. It's replaced many of our more traditional presentation tools. e.g. Indesign / Powerpoint and become the go-to tool in the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way grouped elements are handled can feel unintuitive. Often when I’m working with multiple layers or nested groups, I end up “trapped” inside a stack of grouped items. It can be difficult to quickly ungroup, select, or edit the right layer. A clearer visual hierarchy, or a more flexible grouping/ungrouping workflow (perhaps with a sidebar view of layers, like design software) would really improve usability. The text formatting options are quite limited, I'd love an option to have multiple text sizes per box.

Intuitive, Visual Collaboration with Room for AI Improvement

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's intuitively playful interface, which made the setup process simple and enjoyable. The tool's quickness in facilitating collaboration is impressive, allowing easy participation without needing an account. I appreciate the visual collaboration features that make ideas tangible. The template and anonymous tools enhance productivity by simplifying tasks and focusing discussions. I also like the possibility of integrated video calls within Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find a couple of features to have gone missing or changed, which is somewhat inconvenient. I'm particularly disappointed with the AI capabilities within Miro, as they currently don't assist me effectively as an assistant. The content generation aspect is lacking and isn't helpful in fostering new ideas or contributions. I would like Miro to avoid becoming overly complicated by adding too many features, as this could alienate users who are not tech-savvy, such as non-digital individuals and older generations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro makes our thinking and conversations tangible, supports visual collaboration, and simplifies content sharing, boosting team alignment and idea generation.

Everyday tool

What do you like best about the product?
I can't imagine my workday without Miro. It has become as essential to me as Outlook or a web browser. I regularly use it for eventstorming sessions, refinements, and brainstorming. Since I collaborate with remote teams around the world, Miro enables us to work together seamlessly on technical designs and processes. The wide range of predefined shapes and templates makes it easy to get started and helps ensure we follow industry standards when outlining new projects and solutions.
It's also great that work can be shared with limited users or people outside the organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm using a desktop application, and there is nothing to dislike about Miro :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is bridging the gap between technology and business stakeholders. It helps ensure everyone is aligned, mapping business needs to user stories, and, with the help of Jirra integration, translating them into development tasks. Miro supports us in reworking existing processes and uncovering new solutions. Thanks to Miro, we are confident that we are building the right solutions and accelerating our delivery. It also enables us to share knowledge effectively across the organization.
