Great tool for organizing and planning your team's work

  • December 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has many tools and features that help me organize my tasks and those of my team as well. My team's entire Problem Definition and Product Discovery process is done using Miro, which allows us to keep the entire history of what was designed and built, in an interactive and collaborative way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a Miro board with a lot of material ends up running very slow, which can be a problem. You want to keep a history of everything you've done in one place, but the more history you have the slower your board will probably be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us create, collaborate and define solutions as a multidisciplinary team working remotely, in a simple, intuitive way and with several tools that facilitate this interaction.

Fantastic tool for private tutors

What do you like best about the product?
Broad feature set, infinite white board.

Easily integrates with google meets and can share control of the board with my students.

Very easy to use, and simple to get started planning and delivering lessons.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to see Miro integrate more tutor specific tools such as sharing web browser within the whiteboard, handwriting to text, and integrations for mathematical and chemical equations.

The boards can get quite heavy with lots of writing also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my lessons I need a tool for my students to see diagrams, textbook pages, and notes. Miro is a very easy to use and effective tool that integrates with google meets which I also use to deliver lessons.

Miro is the best!

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely LOVE Miro. For me, it's the best co-creative tool on the market. Imagine yourself a few years ago, trying to hold a creative brainstorming meeting. Or better yet, think about what it was like to have to create roadmaps and delivery calendars in the 20th century... Simply terrifying, right? Miro is one of the tools on the market that delivers all of these possibilities online, with both synchronous and asynchronous participation. In addition to being a system with countless possibilities (which will depend 100% on your creativity), it also has templates to help you meet your needs. Oh, and it's such an easy system to implement that you won't believe it! Don't think twice: if you want to make your life easier, make Miro one of your daily tools!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing bad about Miro, I find it awesomely perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is easy to use, and enable anyone to create lots of projects with only one tool. I'm an UX Researcher, and I work alongside with Designers, Devs and Product Managers, and we can all work togheter using Miro.

Engaging

What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaborative nature of the work, intuitive design and sense of fun in using the tool. Not to mention it takes the pain out of writing up
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things. I still think it is very hard to turly replicate face-to-face ideation workshops. But Miro goes some way to doing that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the challenge of running collobration sessions in an increasingly remote workforce and complex world.

Great Collaborative Tools - especially for remote work

  • December 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to use and easy to collaborate with other people. There are a variety of tools that allow us to create and review work on one screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zooming in and out feels very clunky and not as smooth as FigJam. Miro seems to dominate memory usage in Chrome and my browser seems to get slower. I tried the downloaded desktop version but it also lags. I may have 10 Miro windows open at a time because I'm working on so many projects so I need it not to lag. Also, it would be nice to have integrations that sync better with design programs like Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is allowing multiple stakeholders to collaborate on and view our roadmap, view design mockups (without editing them)

completely changed collaboration in our company

  • December 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro very quickly became sticky in our organization and now I can't imagine working without it. There is a very small learning curve due to the intutive nature of the UI (mostly) and a number of templates to help kickstart you. This has made it possible for members across multiple teams in the organization to collaborate and contribute in places where they may not have had that level of visibility previously. We use it on a daily basis for any collaborative design projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is not a replacement for documentation tools, no matter how hard we've tried. Boards can become sprawling quickly and difficult for users to digest. Some recent UI changes have made it difficult to find certain things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asynchronous collaboration across teams and geographies. Workshopping and brainstorming activities. High-level design concepts not expected to be "pixel perfect".

The immersive experience of using Miro

  • December 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an extremely easy-to-use feature for day-to-day activities where you can find various resources and templates that fit the activity you are doing. During the work period, the use of Miro is frequent, it is always open in a tab to which we return when we need some information about the project. There are several integrations with other systems that facilitate use during the process. In addition to an active community that helps with problem-solving and support with issues and questions. I recommend Miro for all these points and for the ease of implementing it into the process that is already built, assisting and organizing the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I think is a disadvantage in Miro is not having integration with Figma and not having the option to paste an .svg code directly instead of having to upload a file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us keep the team cohesive and aligned with the information and the project status, in addition to all users adding comments about questions.

What do you like best about the product?
It allow me really to calloborate with all my team members. Since 2020 (during pandemic) Miro helped my creative agency a lot as we gity the chance to continue brainstorming as if we were right next to the other.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything in Miro is great!...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaboration
now it's easier for us (as a team) to brainstorm in digital, then just give some format and if it is needed export it or take an screenshot
now the brainstorms are somewhere and if we want to take a look into it, ther is the file!

My experience with Miro has been solid since I started using it in 2021.

What do you like best about the product?
Overalll I like its ease of use. I use on a personal and team basis. Most of my personal use is for capturing my thoughts on a topic and building models. For teams, I use it to facilitate meetings and workshops. For some teams, I use it for tracking projects or scrum sprints. In some cases, I will use Miro rather than Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any strong dislikes at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a collaborative environment for a team of remote workers.

Awesome tool for collaboration, with a few downsides

  • December 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration in the tool is awesome, so most of the steps in a sprint can be mapped using Miro.
You can create custom templates and shapes, so it can adapt to multiple needs in a single tool.

Creating boards is easy and fast.
Any need you have can be set up in a couple of minutes tops, not delaying your meeting.
The interface is easy to use, although the zoom in and out might not be the most intuitive functionality, but it should also be easy to understand after a few minutes.

All the company uses it and have no difficulties using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organization is a bit difficult, with a single board having multiple diagrams. So, often you don't find what you need/want.
And even though you have the "Quadros" (Pictures in english?) option to group objects and create an order for the presentation, most people don't use it or don't even know about it.

In the end, you end up with tons of boards with tons of diagrams that you need a standard in your company to keep organized and help you find the information you need.

Also, for some stuff, like a BPMN diagram, it's easier to just use a specialized to for that, instead of the Miro templates available. Since it a generic tool, it does not fit perfectly for every situation.

Lastly, if you are brainstorming ideas to create tasks for your sprint or anything like that, it would need to be manually transcribed to another tool like Jira.
Doesn't seem to have an integration plugin to any other tool to speed up things like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All purpose whiteboard for any kind of meeting or notes.
Anything you would write in a whiteboard can go into Miro, from brainstorming ideas, designing a solution or mapping our planning in the sprint.
