Perfect tool for collaborating with your remote coworkers
What do you like best about the product?
It feels like being in a meeting room where everyone has unlimited space to share their ideas. What I particularly appreciate is that we can leave everything there - there’s no need to tidy up the meeting room once we’re done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we need more stickers (it helps to organize data in a fun way, and easier to highlight things), but aside from that, everything is working perfectly on my MacBook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Research synthesis has always been my go-to tool, especially when combined with AI. Using Miro alongside AI really enhances the process.

We use is scribble down ideas, as a place for gathering reference, in sprint planning and retros. During meetings as a whiteboard. It's now a huge part of our workflow.

It can be hard to manage boards, often links get misplaced.

What do you like best about the product?
I prototyped our new portal in a single session in Miro. Everything snaps into place and is ready to share. For brainstorms, we collaborate online with sticky notes for rapid ideation, then quickly cluster and vote with no context switching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Per seat pricing gets pricey when we bring in quarterly stakeholders or a freelance designer. Someone who only needs to comment twice a month still needs a full seat, and a simple pay as you go guest pass would solve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro turns messy sessions into clear next steps. I run remote workshops and brainstorms, capture notes, cluster, vote, and assign owners with dates on one board. I also sketch mockups with screen frames and the Wireframe Library, collect comments in context, and share a single source of truth that speeds decisions.

The templates section has been altered, preffered the user experience of the previous update.

What do you like best about the product?
The functionality for collaboration in workshops and online teamwork is definitely a highlight. Since our company and team are distributed across multiple offices, this feature has been especially valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the design elements could offer more flexibility when it comes to creating visualizations and presentations. Even basic features, like the ability to use right triangles or to customize shapes beyond just simple resizing, seem to be missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use this tool for brainstorming and documenting my own thoughts, both for personal reference and to share ideas and concepts in a more concrete manner. Additionally, I rely on it for collaboration, especially when working on design, strategy, and brainstorming sessions with others.

There are numerous options available for mind map templates.
This is my first time using this Miro app for mind map creation, which was recommended by one of my colleagues.
I started exploring it on my own and found it very user-friendly. While exploring the app, I discovered a variety of options and different boards that you can choose from and customize according to your needs.
Currently, I have created a mind map, but we haven't started the review process in this app yet; however, we plan to do so soon.
The app makes it easy for anyone to create a mind map, even if they have no prior experience.
With its intuitive design, you can quickly become proficient.

Additionally, creating rough sketches and wireframes is expedited by the availability of predefined icons, components, and prototype libraries . This not only conserves time but also allows for a greater emphasis on creativity rather than on setup.

Occasionally, Miro can feel a bit sluggish, especially when working with large boards that contain many elements, which leads to longer loading times. It would also be helpful to have more advanced templates tailored to specific fields. Although these are relatively minor concerns compared to the overall value, addressing them would greatly enhance the user experience.

As a UX designer, I find that it allows me to quickly turn ideas into initial sketches, wireframes, and prototypes using its built-in components and libraries. This not only improves my workflow efficiency but also helps me stay aligned with colleagues and keeps the creative process moving smoothly without technical obstacles. Building on ideation is seamless, and it helps make projects well-organized with a structured board all in one place.

At times, the boards can seem somewhat heavy when filled with a large amount of content, which tends to slow down loading times. Additionally, the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming initially, and it takes some time for new users to become completely comfortable with the platform.

Miro greatly simplifies remote collaboration by providing a shared visual workspace where we can brainstorm and plan together. It helps keep the team aligned, saves valuable time, and clarifies even the most complex ideas.
