Easy to use, great for collaboration, though customization & feature discoverability could be better

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro several times a week, and what stands out the most is its ease of use and flexibility. The platform makes real-time collaboration with colleagues seamless, regardless of industry (I've worked with MIRO in data privacy sector, ride-hailing and taxi marketplace) or team size (sessions with between 3 to 20 people). I appreciate the variety of templates available, which helps structure workshops, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions quickly without starting from scratch. The intuitive interface makes it easy to onboard new team members and keep everyone engaged.

I never had to leverage Miro's customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates could also benefit from more customization options to better fit specific use cases. I usually don't use the available integrations and not sure how to easily quick start them, I believe I'm not aware of all the capabilities of MIRO, even if I use it frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the problem of aligning teams on undefined or complex topics by providing a flexible, visual space. It removes the constraints of rigid formats, supports retrospectives and brainstorming, and makes it easier to map customer journeys with context like screenshots.

Miro is creative and collaborative, though sometimes glitchy.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the diversity of templates, which makes it easy to start any kind of project without having to build everything from scratch. Collaboration in real time is smooth and intuitive, since you can instantly see how teammates edit, move or add elements. I also enjoy the flexibility of the infinite canvas, which gives freedom to expand and structure ideas without limits. On top of that, the integrations with tools like Google Drive really help to streamline workflows and keep everything connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the dashboards fail and it is not possible to write text or interact with them properly, which can be frustrating in the middle of a session. The zoom also tends to cause problems every now and then, making it uncomfortable to move around the canvas, especially in larger projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of scattered ideas and disconnected collaboration by bringing everything into one shared digital space, which helps me organize projects better, align with my team in real time, and save time by using ready-made templates.

Essential Tool for Consultants - Unlimited Creative Freedom Meets Professional Collaboration

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I work as a digital transformation consultant for a global agency and Miro is an incredible tool. The most helpful aspect of Miro is its complete flexibility - there's no rigid structure forcing you into predefined templates or workflows. This freedom allows me to bring any concept to life, whether I'm sketching a rough prototype idea or mapping out complex business processes with multiple stakeholders. As a digital transformation consultant, I never know exactly what visual approach a client engagement will require, and Miro adapts to whatever I need rather than constraining my thinking.

The real-time collaboration is transformative for client work. I can have designers, developers, and business stakeholders all contributing simultaneously during workshops, seeing ideas evolve live on the board. The seamless transition from high-level strategy mapping to detailed user journeys to backlog prioritization - all in one workspace - eliminates the friction of switching between multiple tools.

What sets Miro apart is how intuitive it is for non-technical users. I can drop a CEO into a Miro session and they're contributing meaningfully within minutes, not struggling with complex interfaces. This accessibility breaks down silos and gets everyone thinking visually together, which is exactly what digital transformation projects need to succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overwhelming amount of features can make it complex. But that's the tradeoff for such an amazing tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro eliminates the need to use multiple tools and it solves the "lost in translation" problem between business users, designers, and developers by creating a shared visual language. Complex ideas flow seamlessly from business processes to user stories to wireframes without context getting lost.

    Architecture & Planning

perfect platform for work sharing and projects organization

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very convenient to work with different people at the same time and see what everyone and every part of the project is with a fast glance.

Very good to use in the office and also to keep coordination with consultants. extremely useful even to show the project to other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have an easy way to divide information between users. Like different layers or the ability to turn off/on (similar to revit). Also some more features to modify images and transparencies could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to provide a platform where we can see all the project at a glance ar where everyone can modify at the same time.

    Hospital & Health Care

A versatile tool for collaboration and project planning

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a wide range of features that are especially useful for architects and teams. The board allows you to design diagrams, add pictures, and include sticky notes for comments. We use it for many purposes such as project planning, failure analysis, and brainstorming. It is beneficial for both technical and management-related work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing Excel files directly on the board is not very user-friendly. Adding tables—whether new or imported from Excel—needs improvement. Additionally, the icons could be more intuitive and consistent to enhance the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collaborate effectively while working remotely. The shared board allows team members to work together in real time, make changes instantly, and brainstorm ideas visually. It eliminates the back-and-forth of emails or static documents by providing a single, interactive space. This flexibility improves productivity, enhances communication, and ensures that everyone stays aligned during discussions, workshops, and project planning.
