Miro: Simplicity, Impressive AI, and Perfect Integration

  • January 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and speed of Miro, as well as the strong AI integration that requires minimal human adjustment. Your AI is truly impressive and allows for almost perfect results. Additionally, the text creation and the ability to create documents associated with the boards keep everything in one place instead of having a separate Word document. I also appreciate the AI module and the additional layout options like color transparency. The initial setup experience with Miro was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to declare for now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create processes and flowcharts with simplicity and speed, thanks to its AI integration. The creation of text and documents associated with the boards allows me to keep everything in one place.

A Versatile Tool for Seamless Collaboration

  • January 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for a variety of tasks like project planning, workshopping, and brainstorming. It's a great collaboration tool that allows gathering inputs in real time or asynchronously, which is super helpful for managing distributed teams across different time zones. I love the ready-to-use templates that save time on creating from scratch, and they often need little to no changes. The AI integration is a huge help in categorizing and segregating notes, reducing manual efforts so I can focus on the actual work. The video recording feature is cool for explaining things on the board and guiding people on how to engage with the board content. I also appreciate the ability to run Miro boards as presentations and the use of tables and word documents within a board. These features are very handy, and the number of features added in the last year has really taken Miro into a different league. The initial setup was very simple too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be good if the tables in Miro had more functionality, kind of like Smartsheet. Also, locking objects on the board to prevent them from being moved during a session isn't as intuitive as I'd like. A better way to manage this would be great. Plus, having some kind of integration with SharePoint would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as a collaboration tool for gathering inputs in real-time or asynchronously, which is great for managing distributed teams. The AI features reduce manual work, and video recording helps explain board content effectively, saving time with ready-to-use templates.

Efficient Workflow Visualization with Real-Time Collaboration

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for building product roadmaps, creating process flow diagrams, and making site maps of our applications. Miro simplifies the complex process of mapping out timelines and dependencies when I'm constructing a roadmap that encompasses 20+ resources. The ability to collaborate in real time with my coworkers, from anywhere in the world, is also invaluable. I like most how easy it is to build out complex workflows with simple drag and drop actions, which is critical to building powerful visualizations to confirm requirements. When I'm running a meeting to define business or technical requirements, the entire group of attendees can make live updates to process flows to help everyone achieve a shared understanding. This collaboration is high-value, driving efficiency in the meeting when merely using words would take 5 times as long.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if the AI function could better build process flows without needing as much handholding and explicit instruction from me. I understand this isn't an easy thing to do, but improving this function would be a powerful efficiency driver for me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro simplifies the complex process of creating roadmaps and dependencies involving 20+ resources. Real-time collaboration is invaluable, allowing live updates during meetings to achieve shared understanding and efficiency. Its drag-and-drop feature makes building complex workflows easy, aiding in visualizing and confirming requirements.

Streamlines Team Collaboration with Ease

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is easy to use, easy to share, and easy to learn. It's very visual, which is great for me since I'm a visual person. I enjoy organizing all my ideas in a visual manner with Miro. I also appreciate that it helps me organize ideas, tasks, and everything the team touches, making it a simple tool to use. I find the variety of templates very beneficial, and it supports collaboration by allowing everyone to contribute and work together. The initial setup was really easy too, just set up a project, add collaborators, and start working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that one good thing would be to have a feature in Miro to automatically generate prompts from flow drawings or prototypes using AI. It could enhance how we use visual content to develop ideas further. Additionally, I feel the presentation feature in Miro could be improved. It would be nice if we could easily transform Miro boards into Google Slides or have a more advanced presentation mode within Miro itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize ideas, tasks, and everything the team touches. It's simple to use, full of templates, and enhances collaboration by enabling everyone to work together easily.

Essential Tool for Designers with Infinite Canvas

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro because it's super easy to share and very user-friendly. The infinite canvas is a great feature that I appreciate a lot. I also highly value the collaborative feature, which allows me to work on ideas with many other people. The ability to easily insert images and export boards or presentations is really beneficial for my workflow. Setting up Miro was super easy, and I'd rate it a 10 for recommending to others. I've been recommending it since the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the text options could be better. When I want to start taking notes, I would appreciate it if there was a text friendly interface that was more customizable like Notion, so I could use shortcuts. And have links to other documents inside the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I come from a design background, and Miro replaces a sketch pad. It offers an infinite canvas and lets me easily paste pictures, write notes, and present projects to clients.

Live Team Collaboration Made Easy with Organized Boards and Handy Templates

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating live with members of my team and the easy way to organize boards. I also love that we have pre built templates and shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot collaborate or share boards with users who don't have a miro license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps us document business processes to show our developers an outline to better understand the process. It's also an easy way for our team to collaborate and share feedback for process enhancements by providing a visual diagram instead of a job aid.

Intuitive Integration Hub for Teams

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as my digital whiteboard where I can put everything in one place, like tasks and anything else I need. I find it to be a great integration with Jira, making it easy to link a story to a Jira ticket and assign it to a developer, which provides very easy access. I also like using it for road mapping, understanding tasks, and planning things like t-shirt sizing. Miro's ease of use stands out to me, as it's very easy to put everything in one place. I find the integration abilities create an open ecosystem where I can integrate Jira and Figma. It's valuable for me as it's easy to add screenshots of ideas I come across, making it very valuable for my work as a product manager. The initial setup was very easy, and I enjoy how we get started with our first board and the tutorials within that board, making it very easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to add videos. That's something that I was never able to do. So just to have, like, an embedded video was really difficult. And so I would have to upload it to Google Docs and then, just add the link to Miro. That would be my workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as my digital whiteboard to consolidate tasks and ideas. It integrates with Jira, making it easy to link stories and assign tasks. Its open ecosystem also facilitates integrating Figma and handling screenshots, essential for my work as a product manager.

Great Templates, but UI Makes Simple Tasks Take Longer

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The templates help speed up document creation
What do you dislike about the product?
I find other tools I've used in the past (Lucid) to have a more intuitive UI. Miro's is fine, but some simple tasks can be time consuming (ex: adding a new shape to a template that is color coordinated won't always add the same color, even when in the same swim lane).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team collaborate with businesses to understand how they'll be using our application. We can quickly map out and note critical information based on team, job type, and function within an organisation that will translate to implementation.

Easy Interface, Great for Visual Collaboration

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to create flow diagrams, and it helps me create a well-defined structure that is easy to understand. The easy-to-use interface, templates, and clear visual collaboration features stand out the most. They save time, simplify diagram creation, and make it easier to explain and collaborate on ideas clearly. The initial setup was easy, and I highly appreciate these aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow on large boards, and some useful features are restricted in the free version. More customization, better performance for large boards, and improved integrations would enhance the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create well-defined structures that are easy to understand, saving time and simplifying diagram creation while making it easier to explain and collaborate on ideas.

The virtual whiteboard that makes remote collaboration actually work

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The template library and facilitation tools save serious prep time. Running a retro, planning session, or design critique used to require building everything from scratch. Now I grab a template, tweak it slightly, and we're ready. Voting, timers, and sticky notes make workshops smooth even with distributed teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards get sluggish. Once you've accumulated months of brainstorms, diagrams, and sticky notes on a single board, performance takes a hit. Navigating becomes laggy and zooming feels clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running remote workshops used to be painful. Miro gives structure to retros, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions with timers, voting, and templates. Participation has improved because everyone has a voice on the canvas, not just the loudest person on the call.
