Connecting teams and flow of projects

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of usage, we can edit at the same time, add comments and material and we can review old projects because everything is in one place. I love that you can check it from any device too. I use it every day of the week and it helps our team integration to support the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usage of battery of my laptop when I have more than 2 boards open
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The remote part of the agency. Part of my team live in other countries, so the review of projects, feedback, flow and history of projects can all be access on Miro in real time. Also when changing projects we can easily access the previous work there

great tool for collaboration and brainstorming

What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to collaborate with multiple teams through workshops and putting out ideas. It also makes it easy to use Miro with readily available templates based on what objective you have for your workshop/meeting, along with built-in tools like the voting and timer. I also like the Talk Track, which is helpful for asynchronous communication, whether it's to share feedback, document design rationale and decisions, or present a walk-through/voiceover on ideas. I use it almost on a daily basis, and it's an indispensable tool on my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although some of the AI tools are super helpful to have a baseline/starting point, some of the output is not helpful and it's easier to do it manually without AI. Specifically, the user flow diagrams or AI clustering/categorization of stickies have been features that I don't use. My product require a lot of domain/industry knowledge along with familiarity with certain organization objectives, and even with detailed prompts, the user flow diagrams are either too generic or make assumptions on paths that are not relevant to my needs. The sticky clustering with the AI-driven categories are hit or miss. When trying to analyze feedback from user feedback sessions, some of the comments in the stickies can be lengthy, and the categories are either redundant or too general, and again, without some of the domain/product-specific knowledge, it's hard for the AI to create optimal output and it's better for me/my team to manually categorize using our own analysis and knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful to have a visual way to capture ideas during a meeting that everyone can view/interact with, as well as have a central place for us to do a workshop or have collaboration/brainstorming sessions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro because its able to be used for so many different use cases. I use it to organize my own thoughts, visualizing ideas, jotting notes, collaborating, literally anything and everything. It also has a relatively flat learning curve and low barrier to entry to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of much. Every once in a while I have trouble finding things I have used in the past, but overall its awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping potential new product ideas to users and audiences

Visualize my brain

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility in actually using the tool. It genuinely feels like a blank whiteboard where I can just sketch and get what is in my brain out and onto paper. I love that. I also love that it has examples to review for when I need to have some inspiration. Collaboration is also very, very strong on this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switching between accounts sucks
It would be cool if the app allowed you to actually draw on it with an Apple pencil (or other stylus - I'm not trying to be Apple-biased here)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one problem it is solving is allowing me to share my ideas with my team, and vice versa. The other thing it really helps with is actually clarifying my thinking. Much like writing, having to put my thoughts on this digital board helps me actually clarify and crystalize what I'm trying to communicate.

What do you like best about the product?
MIRO helps me keeps teams engaged just like we were all physically together in a conference room mapping a process or working to solve a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. I am actually behind in some of the latest updates to take advantage of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a process improvement facilitator, MIRO has been key in helping support our continuous Improvement culture, particularly when Covid started.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease to choose from templates and wide range of options to chose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of colors. font size issues when writing on a sticky note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a design student there is a variety of data that needs to be studied before starting and throughout the project, these data needs be organized and strategically placed and Miro allows me options for the same. Have been using it for over 2 years now and its been great at certain bits but when it comes to presenting or wireframing is obviously Figma.

A Must-Have Tool to Structure and Align Teams

  • May 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Project Manager specialized in data, I mainly use Miro for collaborative visualization, agile project management, and brainstorming with both business and technical teams.

Strengths:
✅ Real-time collaboration:
Miro is ideal for collaborative work sessions, especially with remote teams.

✅ Great for data flow modeling:
I use it to build data pipeline diagrams and data source mappings.

✅ Powerful templates:
The built-in templates (roadmaps, retrospectives, etc.) save valuable time and provide structure for various use cases.

✅ Optimized team and roadmap management:
Shared roadmap visualization in Miro makes it easier to align teams, coordinate tasks, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Areas for Improvement:
🔸 Challenging for new users:
The tool can feel intimidating for those unfamiliar with whiteboarding platforms.

🔸 Can become cluttered:
On very dense boards, readability can quickly become an issue without consistent structure and organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Lack of visual alignment across teams
2. Complexity in roadmap planning and tracking
3. Friction in ideation and workshop facilitation

As a Service Designer, Miro is my #1 tool that touches every part of my workflow

  • May 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love love love using Miro's talk track feature - it has truly enabled me to move quickly and enable a-sync collaboration. It's easy to use and people can review artifacts at their own time/pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the fact that having folks require SSO even as a 'viewer' has been a blocker for us. Since we don't allocate contributor licenses to everyone (due to budget constraints), being able to easily and quickly share boards with those who would benefit from reviewing its contents is super important, but difficult to do w. Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows be to plan, design, collaborate, and facilitate workshops withe ease. As a remote worker, I rely religiously on Miro to get my work done. I do feel like there is work to be done to allow the AI integration to be more conversational, rather than provide a set of specific outputs to choose from, but, this also hasn't prevented me from using Miro.
