Brilliant diagramming tool for visualizing great concepts

  • August 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its dynamic virtual canvas has been a game changer in enhancing real time collaboration among our team members. The virtual canvas' infinite nature is outstanding for expressing different ideas and concepts. I like the diverse collection of visual elements at your disposal that are important for creating complex visual diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The offline capabilities of miro are quite limited compared to similar tools. Making improvements to the offline mode would be extremely helpful for viewing and working on diagrams from any location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been a dependable platform in helping us with diagramming of visually complex concepts. With this tool we are able to collaborate and brainstorm on ideas thus fostering creativity and enhancing innovation and decision making.

Miro a tool for a creative work

  • August 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The open space is like you bringing your non-connected thoughts on paper as they come without worrying about the format, the structure or the relation. It is free flow creativity tool for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance, Zooming/Sizing issues when working on a small device.
I would like to see, once the context increases, Miro auto-adjusting all the elements to normal scale/size to view.
It does not support add-ons like Grammarly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows active collaboration, captures quick ideas, and uses fewer words to describe complex information. If I am working on a problem, it is usually my go-to place to start.

Miro makes it easy to collaborate visually

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the easiest collaborative diagramming tool my team has used. It's easy to simultaneously work on a flowchart, brainstorm board, process flow, or any other type of charting from virtually anywhere with an internet connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
For highly technical diagramming, it didn't have some of the rich features found in tools like Visio or Lucidcharts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fully remote organization, it's hard to replicate the inspiration and enegy that can come from a good whiteboarding session. Miro, by far, is the best tool we've found to take a whiteboard's place.

No need to huddle around one screen!

What do you like best about the product?
Where to start! Miro is a wonderful tool that I use every day in my role as BA. From post it notes to diagramming it has it all. There are default templates which are great for newbies or a vast array of tools for the Miro expert.

Diagramming is one are that I especially love. The need for me to speak to various people in the business about systems and how they are structured is key to my role. So having the ability to share a board, have what I think is the proposed structure using the diagramming tools mapped out and other people being able to update it on the fly is what i need.

Collaboration plus great tools = great success for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that I run out of colours for post it notes..

In all seriousness, the majority of the dislikes I had have been adressed by the product team who move quickly when a serious suggestion is raised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides me with a one stop shop that helps me collaborate with my team all over the world.

What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to figure out the best template to use for my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a visual diagram for everyone to see. It helps us all be on the same page.

Wonderful collaboration method, great way to diagram with the team, great way to plan

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The amazing ability to collaborate in real time with coworkers anywhere in the world. Being able to watch my team diagram a project out while we're all on the board is so helpful.

You can also copy boards/diagrams/anything as an image for extremely easy sharing.

The recent addition of AI features has been a gamechanger as well, and makes it infinitely more useful to me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there ought to be more integrations sometimes, but most of those are coming over time. Sometimes, the integrations that do exist are a bit wonky, but it's never anything that makes me not wanna use the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a way to diagram and wireframe that's both intuitive to everyone I've brought onto a board, and packed with functionality. A lot of times, solutions will either be so complicated that it becomes difficult to use, or so simple that the problem isn't actually solved despite the clean interface. Miro hits the happy medium very well.

A great collaborative space to concept, brainstorm and work out ideas

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is quick to create a new board and get to creative work. It's easy to share and get other team members aligned on the same frame.
What do you dislike about the product?
The voting exercises can sometimes be challenging to pull in results in a clear way (the UI/UX has been confusing).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need a place to place, store and share ideas. This process involves visual and text assets that need spatial placement and re-arrangement, with multiplayer capabilties. Miro does this well.

    Staffing and Recruiting

Easy to use and a lot of features

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how flexible it is and how many different features there are to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm usually someone who can figure out software/apps pretty quickly. This definitely took me a little longer and was less intutive to me. I think though that this is more a testament to the rorustness than anything else. I feel confident that the more I used miro, the better I would utilize it (like most things). I have only used Miro for one project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping with project managment and visual workflows.

Collaborative space for visual diagraming like never before!

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for delivering workshop and facilitation for years and the experience for massive audience is proven reliable in any type of devices used.

The easy to use interface and improved features very helpful for facilitating remote team or live session such as Talktrack, Miro AI, Voting, and Private Mode that can be helpful for conducting retrospective for instance.

The best part that I love is the template creators community Miroverse, very helpful to get inspiration for create pre-made diagram or learning space design made by various leaders in product, tech, management, coach, and many other powerful resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization shapes in Miro somehow still has limitation like rounded corner radius or nodes to adjust the shapes. The board map also need some improvement to be more easily to navigate for bigger space usage such as clustering or grouping in the same board. Last, the integration still need some compatibility improvement to make it more seamless with other popular apps used by industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of workshop and facilitation has powerful tool to manage the capability on running sequential session using various native tools and combined activities features like frames, timer and presentation that easy to setup. Miro also bring better collaborative experience within team and learners to do brainstorming, diagramming, mapping research findings and asynchronously update the documentation of product development and presenting their project across different stakeholders.
