Queen of Whiteboards
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to navigate and adopt. When Miro released story pointing estimation tool that was a game changer for our team. Presentor mode is great too The ability to create diagrams, user journeys and connector points and arrows is just so smooth. I can not speak more highly of Miro, I've been using it for almost 5 years now. Additionally, the start-up credits program is big benefit as this is the main reason why I could get our current business to move from the competitor who shall not be named hehe, main advantage was cost savings here, and we were able to offset this being a start-up so well done. If this was not so, we will be on the other platform still.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more product roadmap templates that vary from simple to complex, still using a custom simpler roadmap design, however timelines and roadmap templates normally need to time to search through the Miroverse to find what I'm looking for and manipulate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating technical product design and software architecture. Helps us formulate proof of concepts, customer journeys, we also use it for company roadmaps and sprint retrospective, and all around from planning to design.
Love this product!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use AND it has so many useful features that have made my day-to-day life easier. I am now seamlessly able to whip up workflows for our staff to better understand our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more boards available on a free account.I think 5 would be great! Being able to make my team hidden would be nice so people cannot find and try and add themselves to the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are assisting in easing confusion of how our workflows work within our online systems. Miro has assisted in us communicating how these workflows work, where they get held up & who to contact when you require assistance at any point during the process.
Love Miro for bringing people together
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is awesome for when your team is distributed but you need to collaborate... either in a meeting or just throughout a work effort. I use it to capture my thoughts, or to create diagrams... like a service map, or a strategy, or journey map.
People being able to see the work coming together really helps to bond the team together and create buy-in/consensus.
People being able to see the work coming together really helps to bond the team together and create buy-in/consensus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface in the website can be a bit clunky with using the mouse compared to the desktop app... but once I've used the web version for a few minutes I'm all good with it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating a service management framework for a large service in a large government agency. Miro helps me visualise the concepts for people to better understand and contribute their understanding. Recently I used it for a test run of a process and mapped out the process as people walked through it. It was fantastic to see where the understanding differed from the process we had created.
Great platform for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to use and the functionality is actually helpful. I'm able to customize premade templates or start from scratch to create a unique board. The ability to collaborate with a team is also incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occassionally working out how to use some of the functionality can be a bit tricky however there are instrctionals for everything so if you take the time to utilize these you can usually work out what you need to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a platform where teams can collaborate on planning or brainstorming even when remote. The ability to have multiple people adding in ideas live is a great benefit to our team.
Great program for collaboration, brainstorming, and team workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows multiple users to engage simulteanously, helping to drive creative and colloborative workshops. When using on my own, I love the ability to map things out without boundaries/space constraints. There's also a ton of great templates to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to use at first - particularly for new users when using it as a workshop platform. A few times, I've had some screensharing disruptions, having to revert back to google meets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to use Miro to solve real-time user support - specifically, we're able to map out the types of inquiries/issues, map out appropraite next steps, and how to ensure complete resolution. I've also been able to use it to map out project planning - building out goals and objectives to achieve/who needs to do what. I've also been able to use it for colloborative workshops, helping to reveal blind spots/other POVs.
Great collaborative product with lots of different uses
What do you like best about the product?
I have liked using Miro boards for facilitating our brainstorming sessions for a project that we were working on. Rather than using a physical whiteboard it was really helpful to have this displayed virtually on a big screen for our team to see and work with collaboratively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see there being much that I disliked about Miro. Perhaps if we can have more boards available in the trial version this might be better, although i have found a way to save previous boards into google drive which is really helpful. It would also be nice if in the trial version you could still make any of your allocated 3 boards private. The pricing structure when i looked into the paid versions also seemed a bit on the high side - so not sure if this is something that may put single users off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving putting together complicated diagrams which otherwise would have been created in something like Visio. I find it definitely more user friendly than Visio and a good tool for rapid development of ideas. It has lots of templates which are really useful and I find you can be really quite creative with the product and create very professional looking pieces of work.
One of the best Process and Ideation Tools out there
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely simple to use, the interface is intuitive and uses common controls. Live team access is very useful, we regularly run idea sessions with shared boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few minor tweaks would make graphic consistency easier. A button to make selected shapes the same size and style as others would save so much time for complex boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business processes underpin our entire customer delivery ecosystem and success. We use Miro as an instrumental part of the mapping of our services to form scalable products. It is useful primarily as a time saver, and to represent our processes easily where there are very few alternatives.
Loyal User where ever I go!
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating in real time! Love the way I can get my teams working together, sharing ideas, and working on effective solutions. Every opportunity I have to use this tool I do!
What do you dislike about the product?
We started on a free trial and it took us a bit to transfer our team and boards over to the Enterprise experience. Not a deal breaker however just would have liked to understood that prior.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we are using Miro for a variety of different things. First, which has been the greatest reward is allowing all my team members to get their thoughts out on "paper." Secondly, would be the ability to work alongside one another since we are all remote. We get to see, plan, and strategize on solutions in real time!
Nice to organization of my team
What do you like best about the product?
the powerfull toll with no barriers, i can do so much
What do you dislike about the product?
the difficulty in some tools, that could have more information or training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is helping to better visualization for me and all my team about the squad and the chores everyone has
Excellent mapping tool
What do you like best about the product?
For me the best is the simplicity to use, the ammount of possibilities in the free level is enough to develop processes and maps alone or in a collaborative way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only just a few things that I like less in Miro and one is that sometime it is confusion how rght and left clicks work on the canvas more over when you are focused on the thing you are working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have the oppinion that only when you see the complete forest you can focuse on the tree, Miro helps me to understand processes E2E with the ability to focus on specifics to improve them. Also it gives a clear understanding to other departments the complexity and timeframes required to process things.
