Absolutely essential for full-time remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
MIRO is essentially an infinite, blank canvas full of tools, templatess, and integrations all focused on sharing ideas and collaborating with your teammates. I literally can't imagine how much slower brainstorming and planning would be without it. I have the freedom to share boards all across the company. The barrier to entry is much lower than internal sharing tools like confluence and JIRA since those often require access group management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the SEARCH and BROWSE function for finding your (and other's) boards is really lacking. For some reason the board browser can't make up its mind between a visual finder and list of files, and the result fails at both. Either thumbnails are too large and meaningless, and in list view the content density is too low and page is overall not very responsive. This quickly becomes an issue if your team generates new MIRO boards all the time and doesn't have a solid naming convention to keep things organized. It would be beneficial to be able to organize boards in DIRECTORIES and to make the default view a simple file browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MIRO for all of the above usecases and it excels at them all. Sharing, editing, and exporting boards is super simple. I'm a visual communicator so I tend to use it for everything. MIRO gives you templates for structure when you need it, but beyond that MIRO lets you build anything you can imagine. The live collaboration tools excel at helping run meetings, especially the built in kanban boards and image embedding, making it ideal for jotting down notes, references, and actions.

Diagramming in Miro helps you connect people, systems, and ideas with powerful visuals.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to create and collaborate on an infinite canvas with a variety of widgets, templates, and frameworks. I can easily map out user stories, customer journeys, wireframes, roadmaps, retrospectives, and more.
Diagramming in Miro helps you connect people, systems, and ideas with powerful visuals.
It enables me to work with my team and clients in real time or asynchronously, regardless of their location. I can see their cursors, chat with them, share my screen, and present my work.
It integrates with many of the tools I already use, such as Slack, Jira, Google Drive, Zoom, and more. I can streamline my workflow and access all the information I need in one place.
It helps me standardize and scale my processes across the organization. I can create and use custom templates and smart frameworks, organize my boards into projects, and manage user permissions and roles.

Excellent solution creating diagrams, mind maps and exposition ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers the best mind mapping styles and themes today with excellent CMS integrations, it is a very versatile product with good performance and reliability. Miro is suitable for any language or region with multi-language support in your system, the templates within the software are fully designed to the highest standards, notes or comments can be added and editing is very collaborative. As easy as drag and drop when working on our designs, in fact, you can also expose ideas, it is also a tool that shows great collaboration since we can share screen to show our mind maps and ideas which makes it ideal for business meetings. It is so versatile that we can have it on almost any computer, laptop, desktop, Mac, mobile application Miro adapts to any desire that comes from the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced some problems with the fonts when I modify them the text is modified completely, the video tools are a bit limited, as a design tool it lacks polish, add more options, although these shortcomings are minimized with the prefabricated templates, sometimes the software can be slow for example when loading the mind maps, in the future I want to see more options for the color palette.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company Miro is a tool that we use as an active whiteboard because it allows us to organize ideas in a comfortable space to then be discussed and exposed many times also remotely using the screen sharing tool, if there is a project that wants to be shown to a client the tools of this software are very complete especially for mind maps where the organization of the points we want to touch is easier. Miro is also an excellent option for discussion since among users and individuals has allowed us to manage ideas, show them, develop them and share them in order to make better decisions in the work area.

It is my go-to at work, to guide discussions, ideation, mind-mapping or modelling.
What do you like best about the product?
The tools are pretty easy to use, and the mind map function is probably the best amongst other whiteboarding apps. I love the collab with Post-it notes, make my life much much easier when transfering physical post-its to Miro. Pricing is acceptable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tooltips will be appreciated. MUCH needed migration/conversion options or common file type across different whiteboarding apps (eg. with Mural). Re-grouping function will be useful. There is no real-time chat support, questions need to be submitted via email or have to search for answers on Miro - doesnt work well when things need to resolve quickly. Diagramming tools is handicap with lack of shape packs for funnel mapping (will be useful for marketeers). Last is a wish - integration with Google Analytics that pulls tracking data will be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The collaborative whiteboards help to guide many of our discussions, where some time the templates are also useful. The mindmapping tool is very intuitive and a pleasure to use.

                            Visual collaboration made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The mapping and collaboration features are most helpful for working across teams and sharing ideas asynchronously. Recently, the talktrack feature has reduced need to work with additional integrations and allows for more efficient sharing of ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to display text boxes outside of mapped areas and frames. Ex: a distinct shape of text box designed for highlighting the key focus on a board or workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer journey mapping, consumer needs diagramming, visual prototype collaboration (outside of a design tool).

Excellent alternative to full design tools

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a robust tool that combines tools to reach a specific purpose, the software offers options for flowcharts and diagrams of parts very complete, however, can also be an ally in the area of mind maps and videoconferencing, the tool also provides a framework for drawing ideas, it is so collaborative with the user that gives you multiple options for creating slides for presentations or projects. Not only is it a management tool, but also depending on the needs it can be transformed into a support tool with built-in video, audio, calls, I can give talks and show my mind maps while interacting with users in meetings. Miro can run on almost every operating system out there, and can also be downloaded as an application to manage it from your cell phone. The system is a complete collaboration toolbox that should not be missing on our desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is already part of my work panel is indispensable in my project section, the bugs are and surely will be improved in the future, the interface is very current could be improved, customization options are basic I would like to improve the fonts of the templates or perhaps a more extensive color palette for diagrams and maps, some integrations can go wrong or not be as expected, for example, Azure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is already part of my planning section, in projects it is always a very reliable presentation tool, useful to exchange ideas between work teams and provide a better understanding when sharing knowledge. Mind maps act formidably to provide a better understanding of the solutions to be provided in the area of software development. Video options allow us to run long distance meetings, making presentations and discussing ideas between teams and sections.
