Excellent colabroative digital workshop tools

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How interactive and collaborative Miro is, clients who aren't even Miro subscribers can join in, there's a timer to help keep sessions on track and there's an abundance of ready-made templates to use if you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It of course isn't the same as an in-human workshop experience but it really is an excellent substitute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often meet my clients via Zoom, even before Covid-19. Miro makes it MUCH easier to run Website Planning workshops – even when client teams are all in different countries, they can all take part. Miro provides convenience, collaboration, interaction and I've never experienced any lag in the software either.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to collaborate in planning, brainstorming or any other interactive group workshops or sessions, then Miro is your tool!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way the boards are so flexible and you can use them for all kinds of functions
What do you dislike about the product?
MIRO is improving all the time, but it would be useful to be able to sort the frames in a "slide sorter" way as you can in Powerpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be able to keep all my notes in one place and allow my clients access to them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we moved our corporate classroom trainings online, making our learning offering available cross-border and scaling it to a larger and aster extent than ever before.

The go-to remote collaboration tool

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can work with a well-defined essential element, post-it, and from there create whatever I want with frames or arrows, from arrays to flows. Moreover, as soon as I need to scale up my work, I can help myself with tools like icon finder or templates.

Also, it's an excellent tool for Agile project management. We used it super-effectively for retrospective and team building within a fully remote team since before Covid, using timers, voting, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are too many icons on the screen that aren't self-explanatory. I'm specifically talking about the lower-left bar. I understand it packs collaboration tools, but I feel if you're not a very curious person that wants to know everything about the tools that's using, most of the users won't ever reach there or notice that they could find tools as a timer, even if they need one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I schematize ideas and propositions within marketing operations for our products. It effectively substitutes drawing schemes on a physical notepad. I also keep track of progress within these schemes.

It's also advantageous because when I need to quickly share my work with other team members within the sales-marketing team, I can share a link of the frame I need to show them or quickly draw them to my view when they are logged in the same board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you take a look at tutorials

MIRO is a miracle for a busy educator

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a diverse and innovative tool that helps you be new with your students and colleagues even when you are burnt out and exhausted after long hours of distance teaching
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Miro. For me, this is a brilliant tool applicable for teaching several foreign languages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to introduce novelty to each class I am teaching in school, University, or home. It may be tiresome, and I often suffer from fatigue, sleep deprivation. Consequently, I cannot quickly introduce new things. Miro helps me be new irrelevant to my physical condition or general emotional situation. I am very grateful for this chance to make in-class routines more enjoyable.

What do you dislike about the product?
The trackpad/mouse controls could be optimized, especially automatic switching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making mindmaps and moodboards in an intuitive way, talking about them in online meetings
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with a blank project, the templates are a little complex at the beginning
