Streamlined Workflow Mapping and Seamless Collaboration

  • October 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Miro simplifies complex tasks, making technical items or configurations easy to convey and understand for customers. The setup process is straightforward, allowing me to start with basic frames before exploring more features. I find the capability of turning frames into slide decks for presentations incredibly useful and value the collaboration features, such as leaving comments on boards, which enhance team discussions and collaborations. The voting feature is excellent for facilitating discussions, enabling team members to vote on topics, ensuring that we focus on issues that matter most. Overall, Miro has been integral in organizing workflow mapping, process planning, brainstorming, and general brain dumping, making our projects run more smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't fully utilized all that Miro offers, which means there's a lot more potential features that could be beneficial for my business that I've yet to explore. However, time limitations and a lack of guidance have kept me sticking to the basics. I feel that we could benefit greatly if there were more guidance available to utilize Miro's full functionality effectively. Additionally, the lack of integration with Notion is a limitation, as I believe that such integration could significantly streamline our processes by leveraging AI tools to better read and understand our boards in Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro simplifies explaining technical items to customers, ensuring everyone understands easily. It enhances collaboration through features like slide decks, comments, and voting, adding significant value.

First time users loved it!

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very simple and intuitive to use. I introduced it to a large team for brainstorming and ideating. The team was in different locations, and working together was easy. Although the team had never worked with Miro or even heard of it, they took to it quickly and loved how easy it was to collaborate and move around on the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Miro, but it seems it's not possible to transfer the administration of a board to someone else. This is important in situations where a person exits an organisation and needs to pass ownership to another team member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been fantastic in analysing and synthesising the outputs of a research exercise. It enables team members to participate on one board and see all aspects of a project without the restrictions of email, a Teams channel, or even Slack (particularly in organisations where such platforms are not allowed). I also love the ease of creating bundles of of sticky notes straight from Excel.

My favorite collaboration tool for online presentations

  • October 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to collaborate, your imagination is the limit, you can create differente areas, sizes and share it with your audience. It just takes a few clicks to get started, create your account, get your plan to add lots of cool features and you're good to go. I use it quite often, it's my favorite tool for my team retrospectives. Also you can integrate several tools like AWS, draw.io, you could even use it to create user story mapping and other agile tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside so far is that when you collaborate with over 200+ people, it slows down a lot and it's not easy to use.

Also, people that is not tech-savvy, tend to mess up the boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly it's helping my team collaborate with other areas and to share ideas, visualize common goals and make meetings fun!

All in one canvas for work and personal life

  • October 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
An open canvas with a bunch of useful templates to help me kickstart processes and ideas. It's easy to get started and implement company-wide, and we use it every day. The integrations with Slack are super useful and the customer support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Account switching can be a little finicky from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in the information technology space, a lot of ideas are generated during conversations and it becomes difficult to jot them all down. Miro helps us collaborate with all stakeholders so they can add to the conversation in real time on a board, and see ideas connect together in realtime.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about miro is the ability to create and draw workflows to structure clearer processes in the organization. Also, the ability to work collaboratively with your teammates and also the visualization that allows you to create and review information in a clearer and more user-friendly way.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like so much is that their free plan is a bit limited and the functionality for working offline is also limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in marketing, and Miro makes it much easier for me to create buyer journeys and even draw lead nurturing flows. It also gives me the opportunity to work simultaneously with my coworkers to create process flows in the organization.
