It is very useful to promote collaboration in the development of all activities.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very useful for working remotely in an effective and practical way, it fosters collaboration among all members of the work team, managing to develop new ideas through notes, which are visualized through a multifunctional and effective board.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of making any updates or changes to the notes, these are not saved in an effective way to follow, that is, it does not appear if the activity was completed or not. It would be very useful to improve this little detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an essential tool from my point of view because it allows you to access activities and execute them from anywhere remotely, making collaboration between team members more effective.

Great tool for visual thinkers

What do you like best about the product?
I love the creative visuals, the way you can customize your workflow, and the fact that you can share boards with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike so far. Miro is the tool I have been looking for for a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep track of everything I have to do, sort tasks into categories, and let everyone else on the team know what work remains to be done. It is great for working from home. Even when everyone is in a different space, Miro acts as a shared space.

What do you like best about the product?
There are some extremely good templates available, and even better - they can be modified and simplified according to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to create some kind of PDF summary of a workshop, and that was a bit of a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering requirements for application development. It works well even with technically unexperienced participants.

Solid, flexible and powerful tool

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a central piece in my UX Design workflow for more than 6 months and it proved an invaluable tool. It centralises every file that i make, helping me see all that i did at a glance. If i need to suddenly make an improvised presentation of the state of my work i can do it quickly and efficiently without losing time opening diverse files. The infinite canvas with the powerful zoom levels gives me the freedom to organise the information how i want. The numerous templates give me ideas and structure to my research. Be it in the browser, in the mac app or on the smartphone, i can always check my projects and work on them when needed. Things that i did on paper or excel or other programs now i do it here (mindmapping ? yes. user journey ? of course.). Finally, the fact that inviting others to collab is very easy has pushed me to involve my clients or colleagues even earlier in the research process, with better results overall.
I use it also in non-professional ways, for my drawings (has replaced pinterest as a design ressource) or pen & paper role playing games (all those inspiring pics, bits of trivia, rules, video, sounds... all that goes in Miro). Miro truly is, in my eyes a key tool, flexible, well designed and truly powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It truly is hard to find things to dislike at the moment. I don't want to sound like a fanboy that does not think, but for now Miro answers fully to all my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better collaboration, organisation. My projects are more structured and i can show my work easily. The flexibility allows me to try more things, be more transparent. See also above for more benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it if you are collaborating heavily with others, product a lot of files or need to see your project visually at a glance.

What do you like best about the product?
Able to collaborate with team members on a live environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having measurement options makes it harder to design precise elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project collaboration through the use of live interaction and continuous feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Essential for those who need to collaborate.

The right features for great impact

  • June 04, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is intuitive and it has the right features to express your thoughts and easily collaborate with your team mates and customers. Its simplicity and easy to use features helped a lot to make it THE tool in our company for remote interaction and sharing thoughts in a tangible way. It's close to white board activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss team management. I would like to see teams as well in the side bar next to projects, so that I can either add a team to a new project or build a project for an existing team. In the create project dialogue I want to select from existing teams and individuals. Individuals that are already selected for my project should be highlighted (ticked) in the member list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for story mapping, investigating issues and drafting solutions. It's my digital white board to express and develop ideas. The big advantage is that you have a digital copy easy to share and develop further.

The perfect collaboration tool

  • June 03, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use but has a mature feature set that is constantly being updated and every update brings a new feature I love and use most days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Selecting and locking can be finicky at times, particularly when attempting to group a number of objects of different types, sizes and shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an AI app and an ML ops platform. It makes discovery, planning and brainstorming super easy and is the only tool I've found effective working with distributed teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it out on a small project and you will love it. If you are a visual thinker or need to share ideas quickly and easily to any size team, Miro is the tool for you.
