Miro is the tool I use to visualize and organize my creative thoughts

What do you like best about the product?
I use it almost every day, for brainstorming ideas and making beautiful technical diagrams

Miro has a great a advantages over other tools:
- The large support of shapes (for every diagram standard there are shapes in miro)
- The shortcuts, as a power user Miro has nice shortcuts to work faster
- How easily you can connect shapes by arrows, believe me in other tools this is often a real pain to do
- The export quality of image
- Text export to CVS from a shape selection, I often use to continue in Excel.
- Teams integration with Miro, through Miro teams app I can easily collaborate in Miro with my colleagues
- Miro is so easy to use that colleagues without Miro experience can start using it right away
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I really miss in Miro is high qualty PNG export with transparent background. Right now I often do a vector export and then from MacOS preview an export to png. The CMD+C png export option often has insufficient quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is the tool I use to visualize and organize my creative thoughts, in addition, I use it to collaborate with colleagues.

Essential for remote colaboration

What do you like best about the product?
It's full of possibilities so it can be used pretty much for every need, from meetings, to roadmap, to wireframing, or just documentation of process. The number of features make Miro super flexible and other tools simply dont offer that.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not so straightforward to learn for people who never worked with visual tools before. So when you organize a workshop with people from areas where this type of tool is not common, you alwyas have to spend some time before explaining how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Miro, I used to host collaborative sessions in the office, with postits and paper. It would be impossible to work as a remote or hybrid team. Its also nice to have one cloud based tool that everyone can access and edit in different times, saves all the info in a researchable way,

Excellent platform for professional planning, though there is room for improvement

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent platform for professional planning and sharing of artwork and project schedules. We use it daily in our development studio. It significantly simplifies and enhances communication among our team members, ensuring that everyone stays on the same page and can collaborate effectively. The intuitive interface and robust set of tools allow us to brainstorm, plan, and track our projects seamlessly. Whether it's for initial brainstorming sessions or detailed project tracking, Miro has become an indispensable part of our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of the platform primarily involves its performance, which often tends to be slow on older-generation computers and Macs. This can be particularly frustrating during collaborative sessions or when working with large, complex boards. The lag can hinder productivity and disrupt the flow of work, making it challenging for team members with older hardware to keep up with the pace of their colleagues. Despite this, the benefits of Miro's features and capabilities still make it a valuable tool, though there is room for improvement in optimizing performance for all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned earlier, Miro significantly enhances communication between various internal teams, particularly in the art/3D and communication departments. Its intuitive interface and collaborative tools make it easier for team members to share ideas, provide feedback, and stay aligned on project goals. Additionally, Miro plays a crucial role for those working remotely. Its ability to facilitate real-time collaboration and maintain a central hub for project-related materials ensures that remote employees remain connected and productive, no matter where they are located.

I love the variety of stickers. I wish there were more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides about Miro. It's good now, but I am sure their UX designers are going to find something to make the product more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for creating a brand identity.

Fall in love

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the features I appreciate the most about Miro is its highly interactive and user-friendly interface. The ability to engage in real-time collaboration is particularly powerful, as it allows team members to brainstorm, discuss, and modify projects simultaneously, no matter where they are in the world.
The next thing is I really appreciate integration with Microsoft Teams. Miro rules!
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Miro that I find frustrating is its zoom functionality, which sometimes feels less than intuitive. I often experience difficulties smoothly zooming in and out of the boards, which can disrupt the workflow, especially when dealing with large canvases filled with detailed content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Miro improves communication and efficiency in remote settings, making collaboration more dynamic and productive. It has significantly streamlined how I manage projects and engage with my team. Miro's real-time workspace allows our team members to work together seamlessly across distances, ensuring all members contribute equally and decisions are made quickly.

Miro is a platform I will never stop using!

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so helpful visually to convey an extra sense of meaning to your work (especially if you work in content like me!) there are lots of elements and ways to arrange work on a board. I really love how versatile it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I work a lot in design so it is less of a design tool than, say, figma. This would be my only "gripe" though.. that is is great for a conceptual mockup but not great in terms of creating a final bit of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me give feedback in a clear way. I upload pngs of our website onto miro and then add sticky notes all over with feedback. It makes things very specific and clear cut for people to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing dashboards, and duplicate, integration with gamma app, ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
team sharing require an additional licence, not very easy to make a smaller dashboard inside a bigger one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I setup an action plan or when I setup a marketing / sales strategy for a client I like to make it visual using Miro
