MIRO: A Comprehensive Review
What do you like best about the product?
Miro ensures that any changes made on the board are instantly synchronized across all users' devices. This means everyone stays on the same page, and there's no need to refresh or reload to see the latest updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Miro is user-friendly for basic tasks, some of its more advanced features and integrations have a steeper learning curve. New users might need additional time and resources to fully leverage these capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a design student, Miro is an invaluable tool for enhancing creativity, collaboration, and project management. It facilitates concept development and brainstorming with mind maps and mood boards, and supports collaborative projects by allowing multiple users to work simultaneously and provide feedback. Miro aids the design process with tools for wireframing, prototyping, and workflow organization, while also offering dynamic presentation capabilities and a platform for digital portfolios.
Engaging with your stakeholders without physical boundaries
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a powerful visualisation tool to use when trying to engage with your stakeholders via online meetings. It was easy to use, and with some planning in advance stakeholders are amazed how engaging and visual an online discussion could be.
I also love about it removed the hassle from running face-to-face workshop, I no longer need to transcribe post-its! Everything can be donwloaded into spreadsheet format for analysis and/or presentation. I have been using Miro since Covid and now is often seen as a guru of Miro within my team :)

What do you dislike about the product?
Senior stakeholders love it when someone is driving it for them, they still have some reluncatance towards using it (but it's more about anti-technology rather than the application). I always need to factor this in when running a session with senior stakeholders and potentially ask for additional resource to support the session.

Bridging the gap when running online meetings - it is a powerful tool to capture what participants are discussing and presenting them at the same time. It boots engagement in very effective way.

Allows us to work asynchronously, with everyone having visibility. It's not linear so it's possible to capture dynamic environments.
I love to use Miró, for me it's a blank canvas for live team work and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miró allows you to work in a collaborative way. Whenever I give workshops to groups (which is rather regularly), it's very satisfying to see everyone collaborating at the same time. Miró is very easy to use, I started using it intuitively, I never had to look for any tutorial to be able to use it! It has many useful templates that are not only fun to try out (like one in which you have to do your self portrait with pre-made strokes), but also quite well thought out, to solve processes in the best possible way and get around creative blocks. Being able to copy-paste spread sheets into Miró and them being automatically converted into post-its has changed my life. Over-all I've had a great experience using Miró! I
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced some glitches while using Miró. Sometimes boards just won't load and I'll have to restart the app. It also has happened to me, to experience glitches while facilitating workshops. None of the participants being able to move or edit the post-its. This was solved by creating a new board and copy-pasting the content. I would love to be able to work on Miró Boards while off-line, I think this is not a possibility right now. I would also love to be able to change mind maps to sticky notes easily. I also sometimes find hard to manage text in the app in a comfortable way (I understand Miró isn't a text editing software) but it would be nice to have a better user experience using text boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in a remote environment, so Miró helps me create a space in which everyone can collaborate from the comfort of their own home. It's intuitive interface benefits me as I don't really have to explain how to use Miró, the attendants to my workshops naturally know what to do and how to do it. It also gives me the chance to personalize workshops and add any kind of file that I need.
Miro for Concept Maps
What do you like best about the product?
The overall intuitiveness of the tool and flexibility to create all types of visuals. Templates are also very useful for implementation or at least inspiration. Downloading the final product is also very easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be some instruction on best/most efficient ways to build out visuals. Even outside of the initial tutorial, somethign like a tooltip.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me visualize my complex process in a way that feels intuitive to my audience
Use it to prepare and execute team meetings
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
We need to make sure to stay on top of organzing our files. I am sure the option is there, but we have not looked into that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Org charts. Organizational development and realignments. Work flow organization by role.
Fanastic virtual collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it easy for team members to collaborate virtually through different feedback mechanisms with the following being my most used - stickies, emoticons, and prioritization grids. When it comes to soliciting feedback, Miro allows users to collaborate anonymously if desired, which is helpful in sessions where you want to capture anonymous feedback for a particular subject area or to get even more engagement. A huge benefit with Miro too is that you can share your board with members in your session without the need for them to create an account/license which can be a huge barrier for teams when looking at a tool of choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user completely new to this tool, navigating around the board can be a bit confusing at first with learning how to zoom in/out or moving across the boards. It takes some adjustment but after a few uses, it does get easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been useful for helping my team to solicit feedback from our stakeholders in the form of ideation, validation, voting, and prioritization. It's been a great source of reference material as well since we often look back on the boards to pinpoint stickies from specific discussions to support with any documentation.
The best platform for team constructions and overview of processes
What do you like best about the product?
There are plenty of templates you can use for team constructions, which helps you discover new metodologies to use in your everyday-routine
The never-ending board is also great for when you can't have unlimited boards but for free you can have as many different materials as you want
Nowadays me and my team use miro every time we need to build a new process and organize routines since it's way better than using spreadsheets, so every day we can check on what we have to do on our board where the whole team has access.
Implementing it was very fluid and easy because it's a very intuitive app, we also never had any worries or problems using it so we never needed to contact customer support.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the desktop app sometimes is too slow, and it should be easier to use than the website
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped me create a whole new customer journey that increased in 400% the results we were having with our clients, it's so easy to have a nice vision of what you and your peers are doing in the app
