It is like a white board for POs. Love it!

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great place to put notes and create documents shared amongst many. IT field needs this everywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
NOTHING, its great ! I wouldnt change anything about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to integrate all different platforms and all different kinds of people into one space. Developers, product owners, executives. We all can get into one board and start small but then when you look back 6 months later its a huge space.

We use Miro for all Scrum events! And more...

  • May 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use Miro for all events in our SW development: review, planning, retrospective, and refinements. We even migrated product backlog into there from Jira as having it visual makes it so much easier to collaborate.

I cannot imagine our

Because Miro is super visual it allows you to share and explain complicated topics with an audience that is new to the domain.
What do you dislike about the product?
People without full license have limited options to collaborate (only comments). I wish we could buy them a temporary "two hour license" to enable them for that particular event. For example, our sprint review every two weeks where we invite external customers - does not make sense for them to buy a full license but if we could give them one, that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need to meet in the office daily to be effective.
Also, we can scale the development -> 16 dev teams cannot realistically collaborate on one backlog other than the backlog being visualized online.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find any. I really love Miro and all its feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can visualize and organize my ideas or progects. For me it's essential Miro and help me stay on track with my schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that they have so many templates to inspire you or to take advantage of for both professional and personal projects. Besides being able to use it as Kanban, for presentations, teamwork, and more. It is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
What bothers me a little is having to make new payments for new equipment... It's strange.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have no idea.

What do you like best about the product?
As a studio manager for a design team I have found Miro to be an invaluable tool for our collaborative efforts. We've been using Miro for over a year now, and it has transformed the way we colabroarte as a team on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the advanced features take a while to get the hang of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love how all team members can work together at the same time on the same board. This has made remote working a lot easier!

    Computer Software

An incredibly flexible application that enables easy collaboration for our software teams

  • May 20, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature is the mind map which we have been using recently for root cause analysis of any incidents that occur in our system. It's very easy to add new leaves or change the structure of the tree. We frequently use the Notion integration to embed Miro boards within our Notion docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs to be easier to restrict who can make edits to boards or create new boards. Also comments sometimes get accidentally moved and the context is lost if it is no longer sitting right above an element.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us visualise the design of our software system. We try and do as much design up front (before implementation) to avoid running in to roadblocks further down the track. Miro makes this very easy for us.

Easy-to-learn tool with valuable content co-creation features

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Using the SCRUM methodology, we use Miro to co-create content for software development and meetings, such as reviews and retrospectives.

What is most valuable?

The principal feature of the platform is the capability of co-creating content and sharing invites with all people in the organization and outside. It makes it very easy to manage meetings, and the outcomes are excellent.

What needs improvement?

The product subscription is very expensive. The pricing could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Miro for six months.

How are customer service and support?

I emailed Miro's representative support today but am still waiting for an answer. They can take some time to respond.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We used a Microsoft Paint Brush and White Board. We switched to Miro for its co-creation feature.

Miro is a real co-creation tool, not a presentation tool. It allows us to do more in less time and is very productive. It's also easier to learn and use than Microsoft products.

How was the initial setup?

There is a learning curve for the initial setup process.

What was our ROI?

The product generates a return on investment by saving 50% of our time.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The product costs approximately $300 per user.

What other advice do I have?

Miro significantly enhances brainstorming sessions. It becomes easy for team members to express their feelings about the project when they want to draw, write, and explain their ideas.

I rate it an eight out of ten.

Great, flexible and user friendly tool

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great collaboration tool, the diagramming features are incredibly easy to use, particularly on meetings when you need to visualise a process, ideas, or even room layouts.
It has an excellent range of templates to choose from which is particularly helpful when you trying a task for the first time as it gives an excellent framework to order your thinking and guide you through the process.
I've used it for process mapping, idea/concept mapping, product roadmapping, sprint reviews and retrospectives and backlog management.
Whenever I'm not sure on how to get started on a task I search the templates and there is always something applicable to what I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime generating a sharing link that gives other users the necessary editing access to you board can be tricky, i.e. you think you've configured it as a sharing link that lets others edit but they can't get the needed access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visually accessible roadmapping, being able to easily generate roadmaps that help my audience hone in on areas that are relevant to them. Creating fun and engaging ways to run sprint retrospectives with my product squad which boosts team morale.

Real-time collaborative canvas

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of collaborating with teams remotely in real-time and its built in audio-video calling feature which is great to present ideas . Its seamless integration with other apps is a plus too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's honestly nothing really I dislike, but I wish it had as much functionalality offline as well. And sometimes when I draw a line, it gets crooked on its own. Not sure if its a glitch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro gives me the freedom to work remotely and still be able to collaborate on ideas, strategies, processes with the team and present them. The sticky notes are great to jot down any supporting points or comments. And since its an infinite whiteboard, it helps me create alternate flowcharts in the same sheet.
