Useful tool with some billing/customer support difficulties.
What do you like best about the product?
The program is userfriendly and highly adaptable. The templates are powerful. The collaboration potential is fantastic. Visually very attractive.
What do you dislike about the product?
No customer support. Accidental change in my service led to doubling the subscription amount. This charge went directly to the business credit card, causing us a lot of internal problems. It would have been nice to have better communication from Miro, as well as the possibility of calling to rectify the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Miro for a wide-range of educational applications, including meeting facilitation, project design, and evaluation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent tool, which I really enjoy using. I accidentally made a change to my account, which triggered a billing change. My the price of my subscription doubled, which was a surprise to me and my business manager, and we had no way of changing that after it happened. I have been unable to find an email or phone number to contact to help me with this billing problem, which is frustrating and unforgivably bad customer service.
I definitely suggest this app to anybody.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro sets the standard for remote work communication technologies. It is simple to use, feature-rich, and intuitive. It's a whiteboard collaboration tool at its most basic level, and it does it exceptionally well. With its virtual post-it notes, text editing, visual effects, and multi-user collaboration capabilities, this program is a standout among its peers. With some basic navigational guidance, most users can get up and running in Miro within a few minutes at most. Even yet, there are many more complex capabilities that make it a great tool for more experienced users. Miro's built-in templates are also a big plus for me. They're excellent places to get started when working with remote teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features in Miro that it might be difficult to keep up. There are a number of features that aren't as simple to use as the basic navigation. In addition, Miro largely depends on icons rather than language to describe the functionality. Many of them elicit a great deal of clicking as individuals try to figure them out for themselves. In order to develop super users, it would be ideal if Miro included more sophisticated, guided walkthroughs within the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moder work settings, such as those that are partially or entirely remote, can't function without the use of Miro. Highly recommended for everyone who appreciates the importance of working in teams, especially if visual impact is critical for cooperation. Miro is one of a kind!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I get what you mean now. Make use of it as a project management tool for monitoring meetings and workshops, or even as a standalone application.
Miro is the best online whiteboarding software there is!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share and store information for a team as big as mine. It allows the normal information to be stored all in one space instead of across multiple mediums.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a clearer way to link different notes, the feature that they have already is a little clunky but gets the job done. Another thing I wish I could change in the collaboration setting, where you see other cursors, I want to be able to set smaller teams on one board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a team as big as mine, app development can be very unorganized, miro allows everyone in the space to easily see schedules and deadlines, as well as plan their paths on task while putting everyone on the same page all in one software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it! It will be a life saver if you have large teams.
Sometimes get too slow , and also i would like customize graphics (colors)
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is really easy to use, but also has lots of tools like design thinking templates, that help me on my workdays, and my opinion its much better than others tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes new users, when entering the platform feel lost, on a way that doesn't know some commands and how to zoom in or zoom out, I think it could be a way that people could write their ideas without navigating on the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I constantly solve problems with miro, it is reaaly easy to have a meeting to understand the ideas of differents people , really easy to shoow in a "peaper" as an home office what I think
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really easy to use and a fantastic way to understand ideas on group
I couldn’t like/work without it!
What do you like best about the product?
There is no alternative to Miro when it comes to online collaboration. We use it to do brainstormings, ideation, planning, you name it - Miro’s got it. I love how intuitive the interface is and am starting to see the advantages of using the presentation mode. To me, this could even replace PPT at some point as it gives the momentum of keeping it real when presenting complex topics. The SSO is also a great perk as it saves so much time. What a masterpiece, a definite recommendation from my side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about, please keep developing (and promoting) all the cool templates you are creating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asides to the obivous collaboration facilitation it simply makes our (work)lives so much easier. What did we do before Miro?:)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it!
Meets our collaboration needs.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a versatile application that can be used to share presentations, remotely run workshops, as a canvas to organize your thoughts, or just as a board to post your photographs. Miro assists me and my teams in working and planning together on a single shared whiteboard. It includes a plethora of features and a strong toolkit. It contains a timer mechanism that compels the user to keep track of time and complete the reviews/action items within the time range. I enjoy the notes menu, which includes meeting notes, to-do lists, and meeting agendas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is browser-dependent, therefore most of the time I have problems loading the dashboard. Because it is a large whiteboard, it might be difficult to identify an item or data that was previously recorded on the whiteboard. There is a lot of space for improvement in the toolset for sketching the item. Miro, I believe, can add additional sketching tools and emojis. It is not a flawless tool, but they aspire to be the best, and from my experience, I know that they are conducting extensive research with their user database to improve. Its video feature need improvement. Its latest features, like as clustering and smart meetings, still feel like work in progress, but they are fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It aids in the organization of my thoughts by mentally mapping them. Make up user tales. And the community offers excellent templates for a variety of requirements, particularly workshops. It is also incredibly simple to collaborate and share in real time with coworkers. Miro is mostly used for sprint planning and narrative tracking. We sometimes utilize it to undertake pleasant virtual activities; it is the finest tool in a work-from-home position. The timer really assists me in finishing my meeting on time and spending adequate time on each topic; the meeting notes part can be tracked and changed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool is simple to use and has a wide range of uses. If it's a Workshop, always do a test before the meeting. I frequently uncover some weird behavior or things that aren't working properly, such as the video feature or someone being stuck on an item while utilizing smart meetings. Just be sure to test your presentation using the same scenario and criteria to ensure that everything works properly.
Best academic tool I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the option to work with other people on the same project at the same time, the chat feature is incredible and the best part is the frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't enjoy is the limited templates. There's a great variety of type of charts but I would like to see them in different colors, styles, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Nursing student, we have to make a lot of charts and work in groups. Miro is the first app that allows us to work simultaneously in the same project
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy the premium version or ask your company to grant you access to it. It will make your work easier!
Best collaboration and idea sparing tool for remote working
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very helpful in conducting Strategy & Vision Sessions. Process and Data flow. Develop, Ideate & collaborate on the UI low fidelity mockups. Also having multiple templates to choose from is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough support for transition between Sketching, scribble to Text support! UI mockup icons & structures can be improved, there are quite some already known use cases that can be provided as templates, like mobile customer login to checkout cart!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a huge value add in aligning the team on process flows. It also helps me as a Product Manager to express my initial expectations on UX flows, and UI expectations as Mockup. This reduces turnaround time and also allows team members in a different time zone to contribute async.
Incredible innovative platform for collaboration in project management.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro's collaboration tools are fantastic, and the ability to build boards and grant access to others is what sets it apart from the competition. Miro is the only software I've tested that smoothly blends an easy whiteboard/mind map interface with live collaborative features. It comes in handy when I'm working remotely and need to communicate or have a quick brainstorming session. The capacity to capture "writing" allows for cooperation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing capabilities need to be streamlined and more intuitive to use. Having two different options for getting a particular "link" can confuse multiple users around you and distribute the wrong link. I think this can be avoided by rationalization. Third-party plugins can also cause problems, but this isn't entirely Miro's fault. Better documentation and developer support will help eliminate these rare issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves many of the collaboration limitations of having no physical office space and not being able to interact directly with colleagues. With Miro, my organization can exchange ideas, manage projects, share ideas, and celebrate in virtual space as if they were sharing a meeting room. With a wealth of shapes, colors, arrow types, and the ability to write text on arrows, Milo made it as easy as possible to create flows and processes. Simply handing over the board in this flow will make communication between teams much easier and save you the time and effort of verbally explaining over the phone. The feedback feature helps collaborate and collect feedback and integrates feedback on the board rather than on multiple messaging platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Assess your needs and the needs of your users to decide what level you will most likely require. Utilize the free tier as much as possible to assist consumers in becoming acquainted with the features and interface. Take a look at the many templates to get you started. In terms of productivity and visualizing my thoughts, Miro + a tablet with a pen has been a blessing for me. You should also investigate what plugins are available, whether ones match to other applications you now use, and how the two may be integrated.
Always easier to think out loud with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and lightweight interface, help to focus on the content and forget about the environment needed to express it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using online is hard when the network connection is not fast enough, but there's always the possibility to use a local App synced with the Cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All kinds of problems with the organization of ideas in the center. I use it on mentoring sessions, design think sprints and business planning
