Miro product is an amazing tool to think creatively & strategic.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is templates for different purposes, e.g. defining OKRs with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the best & the worst - some templates are nicely described, but in reality, those do not create any value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting on the same point with the team 🙌 As well as creating a visual representation of progress, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using & you love it 🥰
Miro for teachers
What do you like best about the product?
Wide range of functions and possibilities: I can insert pictures and video, create diagrams/mindmap/map/tables or use lots of templates. And all these materials are saved in 1 place and available for students at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big boards upload a long time, but you always can create the new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amazing source for teachers and students (any subject and any age): I create simple games in chemistry using only Miro (memory, sea battle, tic-tac-toe). Miro works perfectly for individual work as well as for groups/
Best of collaborative tool that I have come across in my 25+ years of digital experience!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely outstanding user interface and new features are introduced based on user needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is not so intuitive, I guess this needs to be revisited ground up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind mapping, idea brainstorming, customer journey mapping and many more.
Excellent Software for MindMapping & Ease of Access Via Online
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent online platform to create mindmaps with a great background. Pre-determined mindmaps are easily available and data is constantly saved via the online webpage, mobile app, and application interface. GUI is excellent via the online website. Application development is amazing with new consistent applications and idea development being accessible to users regardless of the level of the individual using the interface and application.
What do you dislike about the product?
To improve, please add more colors for better visual categorization. Please also add more shapes, and lastly some planners for mapping out progressive steps in planning steps in DevOps, Fiance layouts, this is very specific but general layouts with a description of how these mind maps can be used in different industries (that can range from individual projects all that way too large scale projects in companies).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am developing a mindmap of planning an individual project that intends to develop into an application and Miro has been a great visual tool for me compared to other visual tools that I used. It is extremely easy and spaces with ease of usage and easy updating the progress of my project over time without the need to constantly save or update my most recent work added.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent app to use for mind mapping as access is available on all platforms, as well as data, is always saved. Excellent visual software for presenting, plotting, brainstorming, and plotting out projects.
Great for Computer Science Students!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has leveled up my diagrams and flowcharts for my data structures and algorithms classes. It's intuitive, easy to use, and makes for easy exporting for assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were ways to easily animate my frames, to help visualize the flow of the diagrams. There are probably ways to achieve this via 3rd party extensions, but I recognize that this is a niche use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data structures and algorithms are fundamental to computer science. Visual learners can benefit a great deal from seeing what's working behind the scenes in their code, and Miro is the easiest to use solution I've found on the web!
Best Collaboration/Whiteboard solution
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration features are above expectations. We started using Miro before it became Miro and in the past 3 years, the features for collaboration have increased 10 fold. The ability to have timers, music and voting has made our sessions a lot more relaxed creating a creative atmosphere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The guest features and billing can be a pain point for some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Design thinking sessions, team retros, journey mapping, service blueprinting
Without a Doubt, my most favourite Paid App!
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the things I love about Miro is that it is a landscape for my creativity,
as a group facilitator, I am constantly pushing the edges of how a virtual platform can transcend the boundaries
and common complaints of boring virtual meetings to become a creative, playful, engaging landscape with your imagination as the limit of how
to use the myriad of features within Miro. I even use it with my nieces and nephews who live elsewhere and we play together on Miro, which even my MOM can understand how to use it and join us.
It's easy to use, and anonymous editors/contributors gives me EASY way to invite any amount of collaborators to join me,
whether if i be giving a training, or brain-storming / researching with colleagues. The links are super neat and tidy btw too.
I honestly recommend Miro to use for everyone. It's like Google Jam Board on Steroids with WAY WAY WAY more functionality.
I know I'm raving about it because I seriously love this APP. Without a doubt my favourite paid APP service that I use for my business.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've only had to engage customer support once which is not a problem.
For me and my needs, I don't have any current complaints.
For me and my needs, I don't have any current complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is how to create more aliveness in virtual collaborations and virtual meetups.
I don't use the on-board video much but it's a great feature to have.

Why I think Miro is better than Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about miro is that it provides you with the templates to save time creating your own, and also that you can invite others straight in from teams
What do you dislike about the product?
I think what I dislike is that because it has so many features it takes a while to become familiar with using it all smoothly, whereas Lucid has a few less features so doesn't take as long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think one of the biggest problems we can solve is being able to invite people straight from teams onto miro, whereas in the past, we have had issues on lucid with people not being able to get on, which slows down the meeting. I have realised that so many benefits, such as being able to collaborate on things and vote/, add tags and emojis to peoples ideas! I just love that everyone can collaborate at the same time and you can also see them, whereas on lucid you weren't see people as teams was seperate, so unless you had a seperate screen it isn't possible :( It feels like we're in the same room! I have also realised that it is much easier to come to decisions when using the voting tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say that this tool is an invaluable addition to any business. It has helped us tremendously when planning, navigating and organising ourselves internally, but also with our clients.
