Dynamic landscape and interactive platform
What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides the right environment to engage teams with an endless array of tools and templates to support brainstorming, retrospectives, and any type of team engagement. The boards are unlimited and editable, which provide for great interaction and feedback from participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see Jira boards created in Miro to reflect updates in Jira. Everything else functions seamlessly and very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming and retrospectives are the two key areas I have focused on in the three weeks we have utilized Miro. However, I would like to expand it to training and boot camps as well as housing documentation. Benefits are numerous interactive dynamic platforms that engage otherwise quiet and reserved members. Better collaboration and teamwork, including supporting each other, is invaluable.
Great virtual whiteboard with endless helpful templates
What do you like best about the product?
the Kanban and Story Mao Template. Or templates in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
missing filter options on the board itself. e.g. show all cards assigned to Max Mustermann or show all items with word "XYZ" in the text.
no option to creat charts
no option to creat charts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
running efficient virtual workshops. creating transparency in the team.
Collaboration is the key
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way we can work together with our teammates, even if they are not designers. It's a simple but effective tool.
My most common uses vary from design presentation to charts, team calendars, flows, voting sessions, and much more.
I've used another software with the same functions, but it was not handy as Miro.
The interface is also very intuitive, making non-users adapt to the tools quickly and creating the perfect environment for workshops with clients.
Yet, I also use Miro as a personal organizer: I can create my work schedule, vacation planning, etc. I love the way we can work together with our teammates, even if they are not designers. It's a simple but effective tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a dislike, but it could allow us to create different shape masks for pictures, like circles or stars.
Sometimes the connection can be unstable, and the autosave doesn't work as it should.
A helpful feature for the future would be embedded videos and the possibility of playing them on the interface without the need to jump to another page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engaging people to collaborate
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend to use the templates, but also try to create your own, because is a very versatile tool
Great for ADHD people,
What do you like best about the product?
As an ADHD student, miro helps me to structure my thought and keep me inside of some crazy Rail trail
of my train of toughts

What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve, sounds not comfortable for me in the first hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering problems as complex projects and big ideation meets. I see it as a tool that works as a second brain, with free style
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a really useful app, with new ways to structure your thoughts.
Fantastic platform for team collaboration, process documentation, and much more!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly slick with a modern design (compared to competitors like Mural). It's also very easy to navigate, the platform is intuitive and robust with a bunch of features. It can be used for a number of cases such as team onboarding, workshops, brainstorming sessions, wireframing etc.
Additionally, the tool is ever-evolving with new useful features being continuously added.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The pricing plan is a little steep
- As robust as it is, the platform itself is not enough for the whole task management. One would still require tools like Google Suite, Jira/Trello etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visualize processes, which is incredibly useful to see the whole picture. I love that the canvas is infinite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Familiarize yourself with all features Miro has to offer, watch a quick demo, dive in, and play around to get the hang of it.
A seamless experience when creating presentations, diagrams and all sort of visual representations.

-The fact that Miro is quite intuitive and easy to use
- Beautiful outcomes that are possible to 'draw' will all the available tools
- Features like being able to follow someone when he/she is presenting

What do you dislike about the product?
-Sometimes it's impossible to change the size of the letters
-There is not enough diversity in the typographies
- It's annoying that I can place the arrows only in specific spaces
- I would like to be able to create folders inside the groups of work, like to organize better my miro boards

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- No business problems, my use is more to make diagrams and maps that I share with my teams to expose ideas.
- In my previous job I was drafting all the research results on miro, User Journey maps, personas, etc.
-Benefits: the possibility of making participatory workshops of innovation, co-creation, and some methodologies of research.

Very convenient and intuitive way to work with remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like simplicity and keeping advanced (often unnecessary) features out of the sight, so UX is really good. I have used Miro for team workshops for quite many years and users who are new to Miro, grasp it very quickly so we don't waste time to learn how to use the tool. Also, the pricing level is reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions management is far too complicated. Some features should be a bit improved, like the voting - after voting you can see the votes for a fixed period of time and after closing voting results, they disappear. I would like to keep them visible on the stickies as long as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for any visualization, for working together with remote teams, including retrospective meetings, for teaching students etc. Sharing a board with the guests who are not forced to log in is an extremely valuable feature. Quite often I find something useful from Miroverse which contains a comprehensive amount of templates and it grows together with a community.
Best tool for userflow and research
What do you like best about the product?
Multitude of templates, easy to use, multi collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few technical functionnality like if you want to move an object, usually in figma, sketch or other software you can press hold + click to move and here it's the opposite.
Plugin sync with figma is not great but don't now if it's part of Miro.

Great Platform (not tool) for Collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Best templates are available. It gives insights on how best to use Miro for specific tasks and collaborative work. I would love to explore further the integration capabilities of Miro that will provide a seamless workflow across my other applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recommendation. A better way of organizing my work in a cloud folder which I can enable (offline) and online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital Marketing techniques.
Problem Management collaboration.
Canvas for project management.

I enjoy using Miro for online collaboration & love its short learning curve for diff stakeholders
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite pars about Miro is that you can colloborate with various stakeholders with different levels of knowlesge about design tools. Miro has such a short learning curve that it makes it easy for others to learn. I also like Miro is integrated with so much other applications (figma, sketch...) so I can insert files easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The small bugs here & there. For example, when I make everyone follow me to a specific spot on the board, I don't have a way to undo that & they're semi-stuck with my views until they actively break away from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use to document many of my design processes & share & present with my team. Also that we can collaborate on Miro boards together. In fact I hosted a week-long virtual workshop using Miro.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look At Templates -- I used to think it's super hidden, but once I discovered where it's located I found it extremely useful!
