Invaluable tool for remote and in-person workshops

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the ability to work both in person and remote simultaneously means that this product is perfect for a changing corporate environment. No longer do we need to find a time when everyone is in the office to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit of time getting used to the system and sometimes formatting can go a bit haywire, but this is mostly down to user error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team building and workshop collaboration is benefitted by having whiteboards that are accessible from anywhere. No longer do we need to take photos of butcher's paper and then summarise in ppt!

Miro enables me to visually connect with my thoughts and those of others

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The boxes and arrows. These really allow me to move unstructure thoughts (boxes) to a structure that I can do someting with. Color coding these and playing with text sizes is also key.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loggin process :( I have to reloggin very often. Might be our admins config but it annoys the hell out of me. Takes me plenty more seconds that I'd like to get in. Should be instantaneous. I would accept a monthly re-loggin. The other is the sharing experience. It's not very intuitive and always have me thinking about the three dropdowns and how to make sure I don't stuff up privacy of my boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of our thought process is unstructured and in remote times this is harder to bring under a same "roof of understanding" across groups. I find that I often create a board in 1:1 meetings to visualise our trains of thought and then use those boards in group meetings.

The best tool for sametime collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Same time collaboration with the team. In addition, the multitudes of various templates are helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unlicensed users may find it difficult to navigate the tool if not used very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sametime team collaboration. It makes the best use of peoples time when doing any of the above. Our teams are more productive and business performance has increased.

Great tool

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love using Miro! This app has quickly become an essential tool for my work and personal life. What I like the most about Miro is its versatility - I can use it for a variety of purposes, from brainstorming ideas with my team to planning my weekly schedule.

One of the things I appreciate about Miro is its intuitive interface. It's very easy to use, even for someone like me who is not particularly tech-savvy. The app offers a wide range of templates and pre-built frameworks, which makes it easy to get started on any project.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I really enjoy using Miro, there is one aspect of the app that I find frustrating. Occasionally, the app can be a bit slow to load, especially if I'm working on a larger project or if there are multiple team members collaborating on the same board. This can be a bit frustrating when I'm trying to work quickly or if I'm in the middle of a meeting and need to access the board right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is an app that solves a number of problems that can arise when working on a project, especially when collaborating with others. By offering a versatile and user-friendly platform for visual collaboration, Miro has been a game-changer for many teams and individuals, including myself.

One of the key problems that Miro helps to solve is the challenge of remote collaboration. In today's world, many teams are working remotely or in a hybrid fashion, and this can create communication and collaboration challenges. Miro allows team members to work together in real-time, regardless of their location, which helps to streamline communication and foster collaboration.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a collaborative graphical tool for use during PI Planning

Best tool in the market for virtual meetings

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used other tool options for virtual meetings, and I can easily say this is the best option. I love the extensive range of templates to select for my sessions, training, etc. One of my favorite things about Miro is the option to duplicate boards. I oversee two separate teams, and the ability to copy and duplicate boards is a time saver for me. I use Miro daily and enjoy how user-friendly it is once you are accustomed to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Miro. Sometimes I have a hard time with templates taking a long manual time to lock objects on the board. It can get tedious, and I wish there were a faster way to lock down items on the boards. Also, a faster way to navigate and preview templates in the Miro Community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for one spot for the team to meet virtually and collaborate easily. I have the historical ability to have my prior boards saved for future reference with the teams.

    Management Consulting

Miro is a useful collaboration tool that can be used for personal and collaborative use cases

  • March 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate real time with colleagues, both internal and external.

Additionally, the opportunity to do a multiple array of different things, e.g. build process maps, create diagrams and charts, and also do workshops.

It is also very intuitive and easy to learn how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
People need to be signed up to use the platform - there have been times where accessibility has been an issue from the client perspective.

Also, for users who haven't used the platform before there is a bit of a learning curve to get them up to speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro's biggest value-add is allowing cross-platform collaboration - it's not easy to work on a PowerPoint slide as a team, but I can download a PowerPoint to Miro and have everyone on my team working on it simultaneously.

This is incredibly valuable for consulting engagements in which I am working with a team and we all have to manage separate work streams but still have to corroborate our work together at the end of the day.
