Great for visual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is such a dynamic platform. I can use this to place a PowerPoint or presentation and the whole team can add their thoughts or ideas in sticky notes. I have also liked it for creating journey maps.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little clunky and I have not been able to make changes and directly export to the original file, such as PowerPoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration in a virtual environment. It has really helped with brainstorming new ideas and letting multiple people write at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great way to collaborate with others ina virtual format!
Finally found the one
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has all of the drawing features and sharing options that I have been looking for in similar apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The few limitations on the free version make sharing with larger groups a bit of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using miro to quickly draw down and make notes on brainstorming sessions and workshops we have with our research colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have been using a lot od alternatives but Miro really seems to be the best of all collaborative whiteboard solutions.
My new best friend
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use and how brilliant it is in a hybrid world!
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is addictive and I want to use it for everything!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing complex workloads, prioritising backlogs, and introducing SCRUM to our business gradually!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great value for money increases productivity and fun!
Useful tool for planning
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and built in templates save a lot of time. It has planning and project management schemes, to-dos, kanban, workflow templates. You can track your projects and team members can edit at the same time. You dont need to download any application, can be edited online.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you dont upgrade your membership, you can create limited templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I make weekly work plans with my team in Miro. And when they update their tasks, I can follow the process easily. I also get an e-mail when one of them make a change.
I'd give Miro a trophy if I could. One of the best apps.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is what I've been dreaming of for a while. What I love the most about Miro is the infinite board where I collaborate with my team. It's incredible how we can all be in different places but feel in the same one, thanks to Miro's interface. It is very intuitive, easy to use, and has a great design. For me, discovering that you can anchor your teammate's views was a big surprise; we all loved this spec. I honestly cannot think of another tool you can add to make it better: it has video, chat, figures, pens; it is just perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I wouldn't change anything about Miro, but if I would have to say something, I will probably make it a little bit more affordable or give more boards in the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us feel as if we were collaborating in the same room. It has an excellent solution for the quarantine season. My team could work together with no problem, thanks to Miro's interface. Besides that, I have used Miro for sprints, brainstorming, business canvas, presenting solutions, among others.
The best software for everything!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is the interface and ease of use. You automatically learn by clicking on each icon.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a criticism but a suggestion. I am an engineering professor and would like a tool for editing equations (just like the office package).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering forms for my classes. Presentations for my company and even image editing. I've even done a complete concrete structure calculation course using Miro.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool is fantastic. I tried the free version for less than a month and purchased the license.
Incredible agile software with visual interaction
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone can work on the project at the same time collaborating, with visual real time response
What do you dislike about the product?
The multiple individual mouse cursors can be a bit distracting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agile project think tanks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for R&D, think tanks and consultants. Limit the users to avoid distractions
Miro is an excellent online team collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature of Miro is the interactive whiteboard. My software team uses this board to diagram ideas, mock UI, and discuss high-level topics. The whiteboard has many tools that let you edit your UI designs. There are also many templates to choose from if you don't want a blank whiteboard. Miro is also great at collaboration and sharing. Documents can be locked and shared with team members. Miro allows users to give either Read Only access or Edit/Read access. It does not require an app to run. All users need to have access to Miro is a web browser. The web browser Miro app works great, in my opinion. Exporting your final product is also available and gives a high-quality PDF.
What do you dislike about the product?
The panning and zooming on the whiteboard can sometimes be finicky. At first glance, the UI can be a bit overwhelming. It would be nice to have the ability to create your own templates. When multiple people are viewing the same board, I have noticed a small bit of lag. Slack integration would be very helpful instead of emailing new comments or updates to users. While the commenting feature works, it is not as easy as commenting on a Google Document. Miro also lacks in the process flow side as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro, I can solve the problem of engaging with my teammates during meetings. During meetings, we can all contribute to the board and see in real-time comments or suggestions. One benefit I have realized is remote brainstorming. I am able to edit a board and then have a teammate make edits that I can quickly see. Miro also helps our team see the big picture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Miro if you have a small team and are looking for more engagement and creating various boards for various products.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Due to its free nature, it's a bit hard to use it for Kanban-style task tracking purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating mindmaps, user flows, information architectures and diagrams for how things function.
Best design research tool I've used so far
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is pretty straightforward, and it is very easy to share boards with clients' teams without having them create accounts.
I have never experienced any slowdown, especially when drag-n-dropping large pictures on mood boards with 5+ people working simultaneously, which is one of the main reasons I moved to Miro.
Connecting objects with arrows is straightforward and accurate, making it very quick to create flow diagrams.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate the possibility of using additional fonts from Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts, to have perfectly branded boards for clients' workshops.
It'd also be great to have finer control on locking objects, to allow, for example, drag-and-drop of templates with some elements unlocked by default (e.g. user personas cards where only editable fields are locked)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm mostly organizing user research workshops (which went fully online after covid hit).
From a few weeks, I'm also experimenting with creating diagrams we would typically design using specialized software, benefiting from the easiness of sharing and collaboration that Miro offers.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a reliable design collaboration tool, that makes sharing boards effortless, look no further than Miro (I already tested almost all other products around!)
