Best collaboration tool so far - if used correct and structured

What do you like best about the product?
Miro gives us endless space to really go wild on our ideas. On the other hand, it helps us to organize our tactics and planned initiatives. We can collaborate on those things easily and at least from my personal perspective it's very intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
We sometimes get confused with the rights. Especially if the board owner has left the company, it get's tricky to share rights for boards etc.
We also tried to use it as a ticket tool, but this was a bad idea. Even if MIRO can be used for boards etc, I would not recommend it to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives you endless space to create things. Its by far the best collaboration tool I've used in my career. Other tools like GDrive or Mural get close to it, but usually do not have everything I need in one place to make collaboration easy (timer, hide/show things, vote mode etc)

Excellent Productivity and Collaboration tool - Yet its still early on AI capabilities and pricing

  • November 03, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
I'v been using Miro for many years for various tasks and use-cases, such as: strategy mapping, project planning. brainstorming sessions with remote teams, and much more.

Its flexible dashboard and varied capabilities have always kept me coming back.

I love the intutive way to create flowcharts, organizing workshops, or building interactive dashboards. Miro’s features have consistently met the needs of my teams.

I recall talking to the Miro team last year and providing my in-depth feedback and suggestion, especially around AI innovation.

I was happy to see that Miro lately introduced their own AI capabilities.

These new tools really help streamline processes and get work done faster.

Adding such capabilities will allow anyone to ideate better and faster and support the implemetation of these ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Imo, seems like the new AI credits pricing plan and limited AI capabilities require more rework.

I find it that in today's competitive market, where AI tools are rapidly advancing, limiting users to 50-100 actions per month feels somewhat restrictive.

Although Miro AI offers several useful features, they still fall short compared to the capabilities of more established AI-driven tools.

Charging 1 credit per action will burn out all credits much early then you would expect. Re-generating and ideating means more credits are used, and this alone it a big drawback imo.

Comapring the overall pricing seems to be higher then other platforms. So, if you plan to rely on these new AI capabilities and work frequently with them, I'd suggest to check whether the overal pricing fits your budget.

I really hope Miro revisits this pricing model and further enhances its AI capabilities to stay competitive, especially as AI becomes an integral part of everyones daily workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on Miro with remote teams was always dynamic and interactive for us.
We could brainstorm together, ehnhace each other's work, comment and review the boards whenver needed.
Really love the various visualization tools like flowchats, mindmaps, board, etc.

All these tools and different visualization capabilities, enables the team to show complicated data and flow in a more intutivie and easy to understand and follow formats. It can get really complex of course, but it enables everyone to focus on what's important.

The new AI tools asre exicting, but I find them to be a bit limited atm compared to my existing workflows.

Great for demos, training and brain storming!

What do you like best about the product?
I have become a wide-topic Miro user.
1) As a technical consultant, I use it to rough out process and procedures live with clients.
2) It is a must have for technical training: I set up scenarios and then turn students loose on exercises.
3) I use it personally to store and create my own, visually oriented information.

Miro is an extremely flexible, visually oriented platform. I put it up there with OneNote as far as changing the way I work.I've found it very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
They seem to change the interface and tools a bit too rapidly. Just when I'm getting used to it...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the easist and best graphical / visual solution I've yet to find.

Miro app between knowledge building, visualization, team collab and product development

  • November 01, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1- I love how user-friendly it is.
2- when studying new subject I can't build up knowledge very easily every information seems very scattered in my head, using miro helps me to build a structure between these info, exposing the gap in my knowledge and helping me to visualize it.
3- the integration between Miro, Trello, notion, and other project management tools is out of this world, it makes it really easy for me to add every body unique notes and unique way of thinking into one board, and it helps me to get the best of every app and every person on the team
4- as of customer support I never really tried it as again the ease of use and how user friendly it does not make that a necessity of mine
5- I am still exploring the AI help in miro, I saw a video the other day on how it can generate a mobile app front end UI/UX from a command prompt, it is very very impressive I can't wait to play with it a bit, I think it will help me communicating my ideas to other people when I open my own start-up one day.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a bug with your "create clips from video" feature when adding a video from YouTube, when I chose the clip size "from 2:55 to 3:55" for example, the whole 47 min video is still there and I just need to manually go to 2:55 time stamp on my own, It would be great if you fixed it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collabration between multiple tools, as each and everybody of the team member has there own tools that they are comfortable using so. i don't have to push them to use miro they can use whatever and integrated in miro later on the project making me visualize all of team members ideas, in their own way of expressing it in one place

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro is being constantly developed and new, useful features come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
File management is not that well executed. There could be better integration to Microsoft tools & corporate-spesific templates (such as pptx).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping our organisation in collaborating collectively on projects and initiatives. It aloows to share unfinished work and work on the contets together. It is definately helpful while working in Hybrid -mode.

What do you like best about the product?
Team collaboration, I used that on every all hands meeting now
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to find way to learn how to do things.. more my own problem, but maybe Miro can create short videos for those very common features?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for my All hands meeting for over 100 people, well recevied for my remote teams!

Miro review

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making navigation simple and almost self-explanatory. I appreciate that it remains stable even when handling large datasets, which greatly aids in research.
What do you dislike about the product?
To make navigation easier in larger workspaces, it can be challenging to locate specific sections or cards when zoomed out. A feature that allows zooming directly into a selected frame or card would be extremely useful.

Additionally, a hover-zoom feature that displays an enlarged view of card content while reviewing would greatly enhance efficiency. This would reduce the need for constant zooming in and out, making data synthesis much more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to synthesise raw data that we get during research, it helps to draw out insights that helps decision making easy, helps in coordinating, collaborating with team members, and wireframing.
