Difficult to use, does not work with SharePoint, stuck with no way to save my charts in open format
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing at all. It is faster than Visio, but there are many other options if this was the only criterion
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro does not follow well-known WYSIWYG architecture, making it very difficult to use and difficult to learn how to use it.
Miro does not integrate well with SharePoint. Our charts are saved in Miro when they should be in our corporate content storage (which is SharePoint/OneDrive-based), and making use of the standard access control and RBAC sharing rules we have in SharePoint. There is no easy way to audit and manage inappropriate access controls in Miro.
Miro does not enable us to save our boards/diagrams in an open and revisable format, such as the vsdx file format. You could only save your diagrams in final forms, such as PNG, or PDF. Even the export of mind maps as CSV is not working correctly. This means that the more you draw, the more you are beholden to Miro. If you ever need to move your drawings elsewhere, as you inevitably will eventually, you either have them in a final, non-revisable form that you can never update, or you stay with Miro.
Miro's customer support is horrible. I can't take my complains to them

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is seeking to provide a more productive whiteboarding and collaborating tool that is easier to use, but it is failing miserably at this and it is focusing on all the wrong things. It is not really benefitting me much at all. I am looking into alternatives such as draw.io or Lucid

One of the best digital whiteboard tools ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is super intuitive! I have hosted many remote workshops using the said tool for educational and business purposes. I find that it improves my team and students' productivity and engagement. I love the latest features and plugin integrations with the updates! Please, keep it coming!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor things can be improved. I'd be interested to see more integrations with third-party tools. The wireframing tool is a hit or miss - so designing on Miro can be a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro really helps many businesses and educational institutions during the pandemic to streamline remote meetings and brainstorming sessions. I love that it saves us from wasting paper while preserving all the ideas the team has generated on the board to be reviewed later.
An invaluable tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so easy to use, and a fantastic tool for collaboration. It gives everyone a voice in a virtual room and enables easy and effortless sharing of concepts, ideas, documents, websites and processes. It's a great tool for workshops, and virtual collaboration alike.
At it's simplest, it's a virtual whiteboard that's better than an actual one.
I use Miro for everything from sketching out project plans with remote teams, to holding workshops in the real world. It's one of my go to tools as a Program Manager.

What do you dislike about the product?
Very little.
Sometimes it's hard to reframe, and move the frames around once set. Keep coming up with templates, those things are very handy. Extend the number of active boards for free users too.

With remote teams across different countries and time zones, easy to use tools that allow us sit around a virtual space are invaluable. Miro is great tool for UX teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like how remote teams can collaborate on the same board. The templates are great to get you started for brainstorming, synthesizing user research data, and building UX screen flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I dislike about it. I know I do not use all the features, and there is a lot more I can do that I either am unaware of or don't need at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is collaborating with teams across the globe. SInce I work with people in different states and different countries, we can work together on one board since a physical white board is not an option anymore.
Fantastic graphic design, easy way to use
What do you like best about the product?
Graphic and Usability, the best way to show to your audience your result
What do you dislike about the product?
Image Upload, not partnership with others tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting and sharing ideas, more new project thanks to brainstorming
Miro Board
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use. Very little training was required my first time using it! I created a few Miro boards for a handful of virtual team members to collaborate on during a team offsite and I did not even have to bother with training them how to use the tool as well. Everyone caught on so easily!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've only used Miro board a handful of times (to create org charts and to give my virtual team members a tool to collaborate on while the rest of us were collaborating in-person) and I have fully loved my experience with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating org charts with ease (while allowing other team members to easily make changes to it in an ever-changing environment) and allowing virtual team members to collaborate with each other in real-time with ease.
Great collaboration platform
What do you like best about the product?
Great collaboration platform and many different tools to use (ie. post its, various templates flowcharts, roadmaps, etc.) Easy to view, and tag different users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes overwhelming the amount of tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating and housing all the content in one board. Help consistency and transparency.
straightforward platform to use
What do you like best about the product?
it has templates for planing activities and it is user -friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
some times it becomes abit slow but is a problem one can cop with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps me to easily communicate and connect with our organisations anytime and anywhere
Loving Miro as a collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is being able to have interactive sessions with people around the world in a virtual setting. Secondly, no need for "finite" powerpoints, we can just use Miro as both a collaborative and presentation tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still not sure on how to frame things together without all items moving around, also need easier ways of seeing people who I've shared boards with and manage their permissions... this may be my own user-error rather Miro though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inter-teams collaboration - this is extremely important, especially as we're all based in different countries and cities. Being able to properly collaborate and track comments, changes, etc is amazing!
