Miro: My Go-To Tool for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Miro is that it allows me to very quickly put together wireframes and share them with the team to discuss and gain alignment around a visual
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an easier way to create reusable components within Miro. I often will create a component that I use in various places of my wireframes. If that component is updated, I need to manually go and update everywhere I happened to place that component, which can be tedious and error-prone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of transferring what is in my head into a format that team members can quickly grasp. It is much simpler to quickly generate a Miro board and share it than write up tons of documentation that is difficult to understand and time consuming for me
Easy Collaboration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it simple for team collaboration. It promotes engagement with all participants in the team once a clear objective is defined. It allows each other's inputs to be seen in real-time, which often leads to more insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro sometimes lags in performance, especially when being integrated via MS Teams. Also, connecting lines on flow diagrams are not displayed properly when using the Web UI. They appear thicker and change colour, which sometimes creates confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows for collaboration in a hybrid working environment. Allows for brainstorming sessions with the engineering team and stakeholders. We can flush out a solution from initial thoughts and ideas towards an implementation pathway.
Great way to get started with basic ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike pro design tools, where you need to have some know-how about the tool to get started, Freehand allows you to get started with your ideas quickly. Just dump all your thoughts in your head, visualize them in front of you, and then think about the structure. This provides an excellent canvas for exploration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the templates functionality is excellent, I would like to create my own templates I use frequently and share them with my team. This makes getting started with regulars like design springs, and story maps rather efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a place for people to experience real-world whiteboards in a digital space. In the times that people are so geographically distributed, this experience aided with digital tools is one great way to make people feel like a part of the team
It's a new way to share and collaborate with my team. It's also applicable for my own work.
What do you like best about the product?
The most interesting feature for me to use Miro is it has dynamic presentation slides show. I no longer need to use other Powerpoint applications as Miro provides more handy tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like many others, it's difficult to insert media file like mp4 and I have to use an alternative way for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped my presentation as Miro's dynamic slides were enough to get the audience's attention. It showed a new way of communication style with team members or other people.
Remote collaboration it's easier with Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro mostly to facilitate communication and collaboration between my and other teams. It is an excellent platform because it allows different people across the organization to work simultaneously on the same project. As I work in an agile context, it is very important for me and my team to have access to a tool like Miro. I use it often to create flowcharts and it's very convenient and simple to use for this purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very easy to move around the board when more than 10 people are working on it at the same time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me coordinate cross-collaboration with internal and external users on different projects
Best online prototyping tool for quick presentation among teams
What do you like best about the product?
I loved their brainstorming template that made things easy from the start of the project. Most of the features are premium ones, but free versions have great things to check out.
Also, I loved the way I could prototype apps and websites with quick feedback from the team collaboration board. Stakeholders can be added for review in a little different way than I used to do in other apps.

What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle to organize the screen in a single prototype project, sometimes it becomes cumbersome for me to showcase the proper screens to stakeholders and developers. Also, I recently encountered lagging screens when I had many detailed vectors for my prototypes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helped me and the team achieve feasibility in showcasing and delivering prototypes to developers quickly. Even after delivery if needed I can update screens and this gets shown in the status on the dashboard. This avoids confusion among team members and stakeholders if there's any feedback that needs to be added or removed from a particular project.
Love it, not much it can't do
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part of using Miro is that it's fun to use. But the templates are also really great and help to get going quickly. Plus even a blank board is simple enough to use and make into whatever you want
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. It's not the easiest to use if you don't have a trackpad so maybe that could be improved but this doesn't affect me personally so I wouldn't class it as a dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me get thoughts about complicated projects out of my head and onto an easily understandable board which I can either share or use as my own personal mind palace
