Best collaboration tool for distributed teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for remote teams to think and work together. We use it with meetings a lot and surprisingly it helps us sitting and working together as if we are in the same place. Moreover, it is a great tool for product discovery. You can quickly create a board and place almost every detail in your mind to think and develop your next product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it has a better video-chat option

It is an important tool for my product development cycle, I use it a lot for discovery, brain-storming, and meeting

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple it is to quickly build a complex mind-map, user journey, wireframe and so much more. I love how easy it is to share a board, the simplicity of the interface, and the vast quantity of excellent templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
One tiny thing - when exporting the preview frame doesn't default to the particular map I've highlighted. This doesn't affect use in any way, it's just a minor minor irritation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex mapping of user & donor journeys, sequences etc. Miro has enabled me to rapidly map crazy processes and come to simple conclusions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everything about using Miro (including interactions with their support team) has been easy and enjoyable. The product is intuitive to use and meets my needs very well.
A fantastic tool for remote white-boarding and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is well presented and is easily understood for new team members who probably aren't as tech-savvy
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of really, most people that I talk to about Miro love the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote whiteboarding, especially since we're working from home a lot. User flow visualizations and technical design diagrams. The benefits having a centralized repo for this that everyone can access and interact with
Great team collaboration tool for creatives
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it easy to share inspiration photos with the whole team. We are able to easily move around imagery and see what our teammates are thinking. It is very productive when every team member can be working in the same space at the same time on Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't had any downsides using Miro so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Miro, we would print and cut photos to share inspiration imagery and physically pin things up to cork boards. Miro has made it easy to do this digitally and allow the whole team to participate simultaneously, not wasting time. It also is excellent to have this online to access anywhere and update the live board so teammates can see real-time changes.
Robust, Essential, and High Functioning platform, especially for visual people
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the options are easy to navigate. Every template has an explanation of what and why you would use it, so new users won't be overwhelmed. I love the features and functions; they are extremely versatile and flexible. I'm a visual learner so it's ideal for someone like me. It keeps me organized. I don't have an agenda at work, I use Miro for that. Excellent for team planning and organizing. I really like how they teach you how to use the platform through their university. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg, which is always a plus. It saves everything automatically, I NEVER have to worry about losing data. Great for brainstorming all the way to the execution stage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the easiest for non-technical people, if people aren't used to such a platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving organizational and admin issues, team efficiency, and my mental health; if I'm not organized it drives me crazy and stresses me out. If realized I needed Miro years ago.

It's free to make an account. Try it out and see if it fits your line of work, it's definitely going to meet your expectations regardless.
Incredible collaborative tool for the first steps of design process
What do you like best about the product?
The way I can create a lot of boars and put things integrated, links, etc. And work in a collaborative way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like so much the tool for prototyping, it is too limited and has some problems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use miro to see everything that I gather from each new feature I'm building in the same place, as I could do in a wall, but better because I can put links, videos and quickly revisit everything about that. But the thing that I most love about it is to manage those boards together with other designers, PMs, engineering and use it also for presenting what I found, the open questions and my ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is like an intelligent wall on your remote work. It can really help you in your work. Use it to visually see everything you know about a product, competitors, features, ideas, questions. It's easier to work when you see everything that was in your mind, in a board.
Miro makes live online collaboration meaningful.
What do you like best about the product?
I like it that it's easy to share a link to a Miro board with all participants without downloading an app. It's also better than sharing a screen as the resolution is higher.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky for some who are less technically confident to understand how to use it - I facilitated one workshop with mainly retirees who found it challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facilitating online collaborative workshops. It's made it possible to harvest contributions from participants.

The ease of using the dashboard to collect your ideas and organize them

Mixing mouse commands. We are used to using google maps and the like and it would be ok to have the same pattern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capitalizing the work done over several meetings into one single spot.

just jump into it. It is soo intuitive.
Couldn't live without it
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Miro is the online real-time collaboration. No other tool that I know of can show all the other collaborator's cursors, has easy sharing options for view/edit modes, and allows complex workshops to run in this post-covid environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides... Honestly, I can't think of anything major. The only slight niggle I have would be sometimes working with frames can be a little touchy and they can be hard to grab and move around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to do my job with clients in a remote setting. I run Agile workshops and training in an interactive classroom environment, so this tool allows me to do this even during lockdowns or with remote clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is better than other options out there! The templates are incredible, and even on a free license, the amount of features is second to none.

Zoom-In-out options can be made a little more visible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it for generating ideas, collaborative brainstorming sessions, conducting workshops & training for my team by using readymade templates. Lots of benefits like a) Its use friendly, b) Quick to start and get on the team there & c) templatize version for most of the activities make things easy & half done. :)
