Very good collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the real time collaboration and the fact that everyone together can build a process map from scratch!
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant export the diagram I have created with the figures and the arrows. This is a HUGE drawback !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been tasked with conducting virtual kaizen events, and teams does not provide a framework to do this
Miro brings the team together!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use out of the box. Minimal training required to get started creating boards and content for teams to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of practice to navigate the board without moving objects accidentally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retrospectives for remote teams are engaging and deliver more follow-through on decisions. It's all in one place accessible at anytime.
Next best thing to in-person whiteboard collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The whole system was designed with collaboration in mind. There's a great selection of templates (both from Miro and from 3rd parties) to get you started on whatever type of meeting or collaboration you're working on. They've streamlined the ability to get things into the workspace. Importing things from actual pictures of a real-world whiteboard and converting them to post it notes is a feature as well as integrations with a host of other services like google images etc. to bring assets into the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing tools were a little clunky. I think they just released an update that allows me to share a board with nothing but a link and a password. Previously you had to invite each member to your team which could be frustrating for one-off meetings. But I think this has been addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With COVID and our whole team working remote it's been a godsend to enable us to visualize our brainstorming sessions. I've also used to to facilitate retrospective meetings, design sprints... etc. The beauty of Miro is that it's as versatile as a blank whiteboard. I've been able to regain that collaboration aspect that's been missing since we switched to 100% remote because of the pandemic.
Miro the ppt & trello killer

What do you dislike about the product?
Text formatting - particularly in tables - not format copy paste
Tables - can't snap objects to align if not in same cell
Tables - can't snap objects to align if not in same cell
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
working across virtual teams - workshops, virtual presentations, retro's, sprint planning, proposition design, wireframes
Great for Pulses, Agile & SAFe related events!
What do you like best about the product?
Great place to collaborate remotely in a distributed fashion even right now in the COVID world.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lags sometimes when there is a lot of people planning and moving things together (<80+ people)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Value Stream Mapping, User Story and Feature Mapping, using it as a replacement whiteboard space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is intuitive and easy to use, solves most of our Face to Face replacement whiteboard needs, only problem might be when 80+ people are working on the board at the same time, especially if things are unlocked and editing permissions are open, things could not only lag, but also break. Maybe this could be improved by the network or bandwidth.
Miro provides a very engaging canvas for sharing ideas together as team real time.
What do you like best about the product?
It's ability to allow you to visually work together as if you are in the same room on a white board.
What do you dislike about the product?
There so many things to discover about Miro. I'm sure I could be doing things more efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being allowed to brainstorm as a team where everyone can contribute to the virtual board instead of just a meeting host.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are used to having meetings in person, collaborating on a white board, you have to give this tool a try.
Miro is now a critical tool for the way my team collaborates
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility Miro provides -- from allowing my team to quickly spin up a board for tangible collaboration to developing a highly designed, creative workspace for customer workshops. And the ability to bring in some many kinds of media is awesome. My favorite may be the ability to link a deck and auto-magically populate individual thumbnails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am hoping Miro provides more board owner controls, e.g., only the author can move content, backgrounds are designed and set and cannot be moved around, and MUCH more choice in fonts, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the need to share tangible content with customers to co-create solutions and make decisions quickly. Miro is indispensable for helping our creative team quickly share ideas, plan projects, prototype concepts, and test and shape them with end-users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to watch the terrific how-to videos, dive in and try it out with an internal team meeting, make sure everyone understands to LOCK content and use frames and to NOT unlock content.
A great playground for the distributed teams that need to sensemake and collaborate.
What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly, flexible user interface with all the goodies needed for team collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
As a newbie grabbing objects unintentionally and munting the design
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a RTE, I am using Miro for software teams to use for sense making, collaborating, elaborating and PI planning. The problem was "How do we continue to have creative thinking sessions and specifically create the atmosphere of big room planning when we are all distributed and working remotely?"
Miro allows for the atmospher of "being present" and "working together" to happen when not co-located.
Miro allows for the atmospher of "being present" and "working together" to happen when not co-located.
Useful tool to promote collaboration, easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows all the members of the work team partnership to create new concepts via notes which can be viewed via a versatile and efficient screen, which are very useful for working remotely, efficiently, and literally. It centralizes every file I create so that I see what I've done on a look. I will do this easily and accurately, without spending time opening different folders, if I have to present an impromptu declaration of the status of my work. I can still review my projects and work on them whenever needed, whether it is in the browser, Mac app or mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the notes are revised or changed, they are not preserved to continue successfully, i.e., whether or not the operation has been done. Improving this little description will be very helpful. This platform also satisfies all my specifications satisfactorily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my point of view, this is an invaluable tool because it enables you to access and manage tasks anywhere remotely and make communication among team members more effective. Better cooperation, company. I can show my work easily and my work is more structured. I can try more and be more transparent by using flexibility. See more advantages also above.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend the implementation of this tool because it really improves the organization of my projects and improves communication between all team members.
MIRO is the ONE tool where we can do almost any teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
We love to use MIRO to teamwork, remote or inside the same room. We love that we can use it as a virtuel workspace we always can visit and that it can be used to; research workflows, Agile workflows, as a Backlog, Scrumboard, Personas, to prototyping. And it works great together with our tools like Adobe or JIRA ect.
MIRO makes everything visuel and easy to work with and to combine with whatever media we need as a team. We use MIRO in many ways, but our goal have been to remove the wall posting into the realtimeboard where we always can visit or revisit our work og reuse the work the way we need. AND we can see a history / log over the work we have done. MIRO as a log over the work we have done is very powerful.
MIRO is very accessible to almost everybody - and when you first have learn how to navigate MIRO your creativity is your only limit.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to understand how to navigate the MIRO UI. AND you should remember to lock your canvas items when the team works inside them. But when you learn how to navigate the UI and remember to lock your templates or frame it works perfectly.
I last think we dont like is it use of computer power. If you are many users at the same time on a MIRO board it drains you battery very fast - so you need to connect your computer to a power outlet.

Teamwork, virtuel remote teamwork, Scrumboard, error log, personas, agile workflows, research work.
We try to use MIRO to transform tacit knowledge inside team members to explicit knowledge on boards so it is accessible for everybody and can easy be revisit anytime. We end up with a work wiki over all our insides, problems, hypotheses ect. Its a collective brain :-)
