Easy to get started, short learning curve!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that are provided. They have helped me overcome creator's block and just get started which is often the most difficult part of documenting processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When facilitating a group excercise using Miro it isn't intuitive how to bring everyone to me on the fly. It would be nice to more easily accomplish this without having to search on how to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the problem of how to easily collaborate with others, either virtually or in person, without having the tool get in the way of the flow of the conversations.
I use Miro everyday for work and my personal use. I used to use miro to organize my works and ideas.

Getting started with Miro for a new Product team
What do you like best about the product?
We're a brand new Product team, working fully remotely and were given the flexibility to choose a platform for collaboration and communication. We ended up choosing Miro following a recommendation from another colleague. We love the flexibility it offers and we are only just scratching the surface of the functionality.
It works well for us in being able to collaborate ideas and information, share resources, make plans and create powerful visuals for reporting and sharing with the rest of the company.

What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides are pretty few, the one big thing is that there's no offline functionality. It also doesn't work great for us on mobile (but that might be more down to the sizes of boards that we generally use).
Finding appropriate templates to use can be a bit tricky at times too, as there are lots to choose from so it's easy to go down a rabbit hole of different templates rather than focusing on what you actually need.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a brand new, fully remote team we need something to help us collaborate effectively. We've created several different themed boards to help us be more effective as a team and organise our work together.
Miro is a creative space as well, it gives room for organising thoughts and enabling problem-solving. We can also see what challenges each of us are facing in our different areas and then work together to find solutions.

Miro is my number 1 medium for most of daily meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The web version is smooth and doesn't require user login for quick facilitation. I use stickers, diagrams and pics for all my team meetings - like the daily standup, resourcing, grooming, brain storming, event storming etc. Takes just 1-2 minutes to fire up Miro and get people occupied with productive activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more retro templates in default templates (like the 'Spotify retro kit', instead of the ones that come up by default). Also I'd like to have more anonymous features, like poker planning, but with different cards that I could customize (not just story points)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shifted to Miro from Trello to conduct retrospectives, and those got a lot more engaging, productive and fun. Icebreakers are a lot more fun.
Also poker planning is very easy with miro (we're not using story points, but T-shirt sizing, so we're voting for the different sizes). Conducted a few 'five why' and other brainstorming workshops and it worked like a charm there.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can get pricey as your organization scales
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Packed With Features & Keeps Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has a pretty robust set of tools available right from the jump, but the ability to add integrations and customize it to your own needs (adding in flow diagram widgets, wireframing abilities, etc.). Also love that they have a desktop app (my preference) but a parallel web app as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for folks new to it can be a little tricky if you're trying to teach them on the fly. Also, as they've continued to grow sometimes login and lag issues can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a fully dispersed workforce this has been a crucial tool to stay aligned, run workshops, and to plan, document, and solve. Having literally infinite space and boards to get thoughts out and visualize has been an amplifier of creativity and a huge paper saver!
