Fantastic collaboration platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use even for first-timers, it's very intuitive.
The web app nature also speeds up the process not forcing me to install anything on the computer and even if the pc is unavailable (happened once) I can just borrow one from a colleague or use a tablet.

What do you dislike about the product?
When I try to load images that are too big the app should resize them not refuse my file, not all users know how to resize content.
The activity tab is kind of hidden, making it not so easy to find at first glance or use.
The same goes for the chat, I know people that use Miro for a good amount of time and didn't even know it was an actual feature, and that's a pity because it can be super helpful to help to improve communication without blasting the board with comments or have to switch to Slack to talk to your team.

We are using it for customer journeys and experience mapping in general
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a very helpful platform for organic and team projects, it gives you the closest experience to a brainstorming room possible on a 2D screen. It mostly bridges the distance bridge between colleagues in a fun and approachable way. Best of all you don't have to pay anything to try it, so for some reason it doesen't meet you needs you can just delete your account. Zero hassle.
Best Platform for collaborative, Strategic & Creative Workshops on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Features, ease of use for beginners, flexibility, pricing model
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really, now that even the versioning is there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- one unified platform for all types of activities where interaction is expected (Team meetings, strategy workshops, Creative workshops, Sales Pipeline workshops, business modeling workshops, Alignment IT/Business workshops, Co-creation with customers ...)
- Even exeuctives are playing along, and that's not a given
- Ability as a coach to be able to monitor activities from different teams with the "helicpter view", a lot easier as in presential workshops.
- Ability to go for Hybrid approaches, meaning online and presential, as I can export from MIRO and Print in A0 boards for some parts of the workshop
covering all types wof workshops (from team meetings
- Ability to integrate other tools so MIRO becomes the central repository for a series of workshops
- Ability to architect different interlinked boards for complex workshops, with many attendees.
- Ability to work in plenary and offline which is making it easier to find time for people to join the plenary session, as we give them flexibility for the Team home work

Awesome Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a great tool for collaborative workshops for my team. It's extremely easy to use - for folks with varying levels of comfort with technology and has come in very handy while working remotely. It's really great at quickly being able to put together process maps. I really like how you can connect arrows directly to process boxes, and how they track with the boxes as you reformat. It has really decreased the time I spend meticulously putting together process maps, and helps me focus on the actual content / through process of what I'm creating.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more graphic tools and capabilities. I usually will create visual materials in another program like Figma and then import them into Miro. There is not a lot of flexibility with shapes, colours, etc. But at the same time I guess that's not what Miro is aiming to do. Perhaps it would be helpful as an admin to be able to get contributors to "Follow" you, instead of having to ask them to "follow" you every time you go to another location on the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to help us in gathering, synthesizing, visualizing user feedback. It's very beneficial in collaborative activities. It helped us understand pain points, work together to do things quickly but with a rich experience. I find it very helpful to gather a large quantity of feedback at once. Miro is also helpful in enabling those who are less comfortable voicing their opinion to contribute to the conversation in a more comfortable medium (e.g. contributing on a "sticky" to a digital whiteboard.)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! It takes very little time to set up and learn how to use it, so there's no hurt in trying. It might be a great tool for your next collaborative project/activity, and it's really fun to get creative with the icebreakers you can do on Miro.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The option that Miro provides is incredible. And there are many designs you can use for your class or your business presentation.
The best thing I like about Miro is that it is interactive, which engages our participants.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing you don't like in this program. And of course, like every other product, it is getting better every time.

One of the best ways to design and follow up projects
What do you like best about the product?
One can play with many types of structured mind maps, with several team members across the globe, from Portugal, Colombia, Germany; Sweden and Spain.
It's intuitive to select and try out several canvas and interact and create relations between them. The design is seamless to understand.
It is easy to share globally, and with several team members, of different projects in the free version.
I first found it in workshop made by ONU-HABITAT, and it was easy to interact and contribute to new and diferent ideas to solve complex challenges, with diverse stakeholders in several countries in real time.

What do you dislike about the product?
There might exist a few templates or guidance when first doing some brainstorming. For example, in slidebean they guide you with a shared template to pitch the ground for the first try. It would be great if there's also a way to follow up on tasks through a Gantt timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Miro to solve public policy problems and to follow up on start-up business plans. I first found it in a workshop made by ONU-HABITAT. It was easy to interact and contribute to new and different ideas to solve complex challenges with diverse stakeholders in several countries in real-time.
Also, I am using it to design and execute two business plans with two private companies across the globe. And to sum up, I also use it as my mind map of personal and professional life goals.

The best white boarding tool! So fluid and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy collaboration with my team and adding custom templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much but I feel the zoom in and out of the board could be a little easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming product ideas for my team
Great for whiteboarding & collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is that it allows me to work collaboratively with my colleagues and partners to map concepts, ideas, and projects. We are able to visually map a discussion and have an output to guide continual discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro does have many templates, so at first, it can be a little difficult to decipher the best templates for your use cases. After time and testing different templates, you find what you like and what is useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to have discussions and not track opinions, thoughts and ideas or do so through boring meeting notes. Miro allows tracking to be fun, exciting, visual and provides a space for all to engage in active collaboration around projects, goal setting, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider Miro for collaborative mapping work! It is free to sign up, so test it out today!
So good for whiteboarding that we use Miro even when we have an actual whiteboard in the room
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless collaboration, no different from if you were really in a room with the other people on the board. Easy to see what your colleagues are seeing. Intuitive to navigate even a large board with hundreds of elements, not much lag, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
iPad and iPhone experiences leave much to be desired – slow and it's painful to try to direct the software to understand if you're moving an item or trying to move yourself. Also, I think you definitely need an external mouse to use Miro because using a trackpad for it hurts my entire hand (and soul). But honestly – Miro is still the best out there. I tried a competitor (Lucidspark) last week just out of curiosity, and it was so awful to use that it sent me fleeing back to Miro within a day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is the best for breaking down any complicated problem in life. I've used Miro to figure out everything from a software platform (for work) to a new app for a fitness studio (for a friend) to outlining a novel and deciding how to hunt for a house (personal projects). Half an hour on the board helps everyone get their unspoken assumptions out in the open for more effective problem-solving. Love the large template library – some of my favourites include the User Story Map and 2x2 matrix.
I really love the fact that you have a blank sheet with lots of options.
What do you like best about the product?
The presentation mode made me switch from PPP to Miro as I can immediately put the results of the workshop in Miro too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you need a full subscription to let others join your Miro board without them seeing all your boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing all my online workshops with Miro now. I also use it for project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Let others submit to your miro board anonymously in the basic version. Otherwise people will use mural
Best collaborative online workshop tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amidst the Pandemic, Miro has become our go-to tool to conduct online workshops with our clients, featuring 20-30 participants. I like that the design is it's quite simple and intuitive to use and has all the functionally for a workshop (and they keep on adding to it). We started using it for Journey Mapping workshops but have since used it for various other occasions. Interactions with the support staff were also of good quality. They were very fast to respond and address your questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some functionality improvements that can be made but I see that they are introducing new features almost daily. For example, yesterday I found myself trying to make the size of existing shapes to be identical but couldn't do it so I put a new shape and started from scratch. There was also some limitation to the number of votes people could get and a few other small things. I felt the support team was not that eager to learn about those but as I said they are making daily improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conducting a remote collaborative workshop. It's perfect for our needs. There are of course many other uses for it i.e. Journey Mapping, mind mapping, process-visualizations and you name it...
