Wonderful user experience packed with more and more stuff
What do you like best about the product?
The overall user experience and the features are really nice. I like how seamless it is: the features are in the right place at the right time, it works well. I really love the templates they are quite helpful in a lot of situations and I like the idea that you can create and share templates. Sure, I didn't create and use any, but I like to see what the community does. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
The app sometimes can be overwhelming. It has a ton of features and a lot of templates. At first glance, you can't totally understand the application because it is packed with a whole lot of stuff. But if you are past that phase of the learning curve you will see that it is really helpful. And I think Miro's system requirements are pretty high and it is a problem sometimes because most of the stakeholders whom I worked with have notebooks with lower performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for design thinking research, ideation mainly for professional and personal projects. The main benefit is that finally, I don't need every time a physical whiteboard, Sharpies, and post-its and I can work basically everywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is to try other solutions before you decide which software you want to use because in my opinion for most use cases Miro is too much, and I think some other apps run more smoothly than Miro. But if you want a solution that can do anything you can imagine and your computer is powerful enough to handle a big digital whiteboard with lots of elements on it then currently Miro is your best choice.
When inspiration meets productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The attention to detail is amazing. This is probably the most intuitive and human-centric tool we've used in our team. We are making our own templates and having more productive meetings. The best part is that it inspires consistency as people want to engage with their day-to-day work more when it's visually presented. We started coming up with more breakthroughs by connecting pieces together through mindmaps and opportunity-solution trees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates suggestions & product tips have already become better over time but we did struggle at first with too much information that the tool presented to us during the onboarding stage. It didn't discourage the most enthusiastic of us but some people mentioned that they declined to receive email notifications so the tool started harassing them whenever they log in with "what's new" messages. The more we use the tool, the more value we see in these tips but it was a bit too much at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional alignment among teams is the main thing. Having one board to asynchronously discuss complex issues and group ideas together is very helpful. Now, we are also doing presentations through Miro and going away from slides. Regular slides are just way too boring when in Miro you can zoom in on things, and have your workshop participants interact with the content on the board. Getting people to leave comments and feedback in documents used to take weeks. In Miro, once you ask the team, it's done on the same day. That's the power of visualizing your questions. We are also using kanban templates for simple projects just to keep everything on one board.
Miro is Next Level
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is bright, highly usable, and creates instant engagement. I think the thought put into making templates to get collaboration exercises going with minimum time investment is exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company I work for hasn't decided to purchase the software, and the monthly price is more than I want to pay right now. Freemium version is okay but limits the number of boards - so that's frustrating. There's really nothing I dislike about the software itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizational planning - typically done on PPoint decks; Miro gives me the chance to broaden and deepen the canvas, something I badly need right now.
In addition, I'm keen to run collaboration sessions across my team with this software.

Get involved in their learning program - minimal time investment, but saves a lot of time.
Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for UI Consistency
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for collaborative workshops and trainings. I appreciate that Miro supports multiple users in a shared space and is always open, allowing work at any time. I like the design and how quickly it can be used and understood by non-regular users. The Miro Academy and community are also aspects I enjoy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there are too many changes and tools, which can be overwhelming. The design of the platform changes too quickly, and the positioning of the tools is sometimes difficult to find or are duplicated in different positions. Now, it's more complicated for a new user to understand the whole use of the platform as it has become more business-oriented and less facilitation-oriented.

Easy to use product
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple the interface is to use and how easy it is to move around the board with keyboard controls and commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes while selecting a note the text is highlighted instead when all I want to do is move the note across the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to visually show my team how the architecture of our product all sits together.
Great tool for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro facilitates remote meetings and helps our team to improve their effectiveness. Specifically, I found brainstorming sessions with simple post-its very useful, also I like working on the product pipeline by creating custom boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say as the tool is really great. Maybe one thing - sometimes it's a bit difficult to learn Miro for people that aren't familiar with the tool as it has many different features. On the other hand, once you get used to it you will never quit the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many, to list some:
1. Brainstorming while the team is working remotely.
2. Quarterly prioritization.
3. Creating customers' flows.
4. Mapping out product ideas and customers' problems.

An almost perfect digital board tool
What do you like best about the product?
I didn't use this tool until my actual job presented it to me, and now I can't imagine not using it daily. It's an excellent tool for many purposes: share presentations, do workshops remotely, use it as a canvas to organize your ideas, or just as a board to paste your images. Presenting with Miro is a great experience, if you know your participants are not very good with the tool or have never used it you can force them to follow you along while you present, which helps with error prevention. Most features are very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a perfect tool, but it will be. And I'm sure they are trying hard to be the best; from my experience, I know there is a lot of research with their user database to improve. Their video feature needs work. Their new features like clustering and smart meetings still feel like a work in progress, but great features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize my ideas by mind mapping them. Create user stories. And the community has excellent templates for different needs, especially workshops. Collaborating and sharing in real time with coworkers is very easy as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it is for a Workshop, always do a test before your meeting. I often discover some unusual behavior or things not working flawlessly, like the video feature or someone getting locked in an element using smart meetings. Just be sure to test your presentation with the same scenario and criteria to ensure everything works.
Life saver during our working from home period.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has helped us facilitate workshops, structure meetings, alignment between teams, etc! We use it as a safe space for our team to drop whatever we have in our mind. I'm part of the user research team and we use the tool to analyse our insights. I haven't used any other tool so I can't compare.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get lost how to work around in Miro. What buttons to press, etc. Maybe I'm not super tech savvy, but sometimes I accidentally move an entire box, delete something, etc. Also get confused when I want to scroll or zoom out, instead of clicking on something. But I'd say that's more me being clumsy ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly: collaboration!!! Especially when we had to work from home. I think we gain time by using Miro and we're a lot more efficient. Before COVID we were using sticky notes on white boards, taking pictures and saving that. Now with Miro, we have everything digitally and we're able to come back to it. We're a lot more structured.
