Great tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We are multiple boutique agencies/independent consultants who work together on client cases. Miro is the tool we use to develop ideas, plan projects and structure the thought process easier. Boards are also shared with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still challenges in having co-owners of boards, without expanding. your team. I.e. two independent consultants, with each their paid subscription, cannot grant the other part co-ownership without adding them to their team - which means double payment. As co-owners has other user rights than guests, this is important to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication challenges - getting people on the same track, streamlining thoughts and messages. Our productivity performance is improved with Miro and indirectly there is a financial gain as well, less time spend on understanding each other right.
Great collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use makes it an easily adoptable tool for folks. The ability to collaborate across space and time since we are a distributed company is a great benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to add more templates for Scaled Agile Framework and other agile standard tools that we use. There are many great ones, but the library should be expanded over time which it appears to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have done everything from Agile retrospectives, team building exercises, yearly objective planning for our teams. Product organization, team members assigned to teams.
Perfect for online colab
What do you like best about the product?
a ton of functionality, great for collaborating online. Easy to navigate and we can still use it for strategizing, product roadmap building, conducting workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much coverage across so many things, sometimes (rarely, but sometimes), depth of functionalities are insufficient, but that's just a minor issue. pretty happy overall
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use miro for everything. From Product feature roadmap, over customer profiling, marketing strategies, brainstorming, to do matrix and responsibilities, it's our go to tool
Great tool for collaborating
What do you like best about the product?
There is a ton of useful features, with new ones arriving frequently. Great for working on concepts with a team or facilitating meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
Beta-version was rolled out randomly, which led to some confusion as people had to work with different UIs (within an internal tool training for MIRO)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for facilitating meetings, brainstorming, training - especially in a remote work setting. It keeps people engaged and it's fun :)

My 1st 5 Hours on MIRO
What do you like best about the product?
They have excellent help information. MIRO videos are easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
An overview feature went away, but I probably just haven't learned how to bring it back into view.
It would help if MIRO made a feature-packed Two page "Cheat Sheet" pdf.
It would help if MIRO made a feature-packed Two page "Cheat Sheet" pdf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps visualize a big messy problem, where you can literally zoom in and out on your problem, which helps one better understand the Business problem.
Miro is a must for online training
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is cleverly designed, with lots of space to work together online and many options to improve collaboration. It works fluently, with more excellent technical stability than I experienced with similar applications. Also, as a trainer, a big plus is that you can export all the board frames, which shows almost like a pdf of slides. This is a much better visual aid to send to participants than a pdf of an entire board (which is not user-friendly to read). The amount of high-quality templates that you can find in the Miroverse is also incredible!
What do you dislike about the product?
The export of a board in pdf is not OCR which is a shame. Also, when you use the "follow me" function as a facilitator, you can't click to unfollow. Sometimes as a trainer or facilitator you want to take them to a part of the board, drop them off, and yourself do some prep work for the next part. An "unfollow" function would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a trainer, with the appearance of COVID, all courses needed to be switched to online. During my offline training, I rarely used slides, only a whiteboard, and a flipchart. Participants did exercises with sticky notes. For online training, initially, I used editable PowerPoint for activities, but this was very limited. Switching to Miro gives a lot more opportunity for smooth presentation and exercises, giving an excellent training experience online (without slides). This ensured positive evaluations from participants.
Essential for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro facilitates real-time collaboration in the best way possible. All the little tools/features, including poll, voting, tagging, etc. makes it fun as well as helps solicit active feedback from everyone in the team!
What do you dislike about the product?
People who haven't used Miro before may struggle to make sense of the navigation part. But it is relatively easy to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro in almost all stages of our product development process. It is most useful at the brainstorming stage where we want everyone to participate and contribute actively.
Great for ideation, colaboration and ideas presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use (shortcuts, intuitive controls, etc.), simultaneous editing, cloud based, integration with notion, limitles integration with shapes, tables, mind maps and other useful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited zoom level and character size sometimes forces you to rescale the whole drawing in order to get a smaller text font or shape. This limitation is really anoying. I found a bit troublesome to select colors schemes and I had to chose by myself each one. It would help being able to select a preset in order to evolve quicker in the use of the tool and reduce the work on the visuals during a meeting (let me state that I like being able to edit those formatting options individually in a second moment).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discussing and building up ideias and stretegies for new projects in a very productive way. Being able to communicate a board that is alive (changes in a daily basis).
Great Product and Very Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is just a very simple tool to use. The interface is minimal enough that I know exactly what to do and where to go. Especially in the world of remote work having an online whiteboard that is as expandable as Miro makes it very easy to collaborate with others on my team!
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment there is nothing I really dislike about Miro. I use and mouse and keyboard when I work and would love the ease of use of zooming in and out on my miro board through my mouse. I often find it hard to zoom in, out and wide with a mouse compared to a trackpad!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I am solving using Miro is collaboration. Once the pandemic started, users didn't have a way to collaborate with people online and now they do. My team and I have easily been able to go into a Miro Board and run project idea meetings in there. It's like a big brain dump tool!
