An extremely useful tool. It's made my job easier to deliver interactive training & is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly
Great variety in tools and settings used - similar to Microsoft word where you can change text font size etc, whereas other programs I've used doesn't have as much variety
Easy for teams to work on projects and create mind maps or idea boards.
I use Miro for interactive sessions, which has been my trainees' favourite part of the webinar/session.

What do you dislike about the product?
Participants have to sign up to use the white baord - quite time consuming and would be great if there was a non - user section or element where some tasks could be created without someone having to sign up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interactive workshop group sessions are great
Everyone Ive spoken to loves it
We are solving group mind maps of large projects that have different elements to them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking at working collaboratively, have interactive webinars or sessions to mind map, Miro is a great tool that works in many different work scenarios.
Miro aids online workshop facilitation and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
During lockdown, the Miro board helps replace the usual workshops with ability to capture input from virtual attendees, ensuring all stakeholder perspectives are captured. Importantly, the ability to print the boards and extract comments as text means there is no transcription of workshop attendee input.
What do you dislike about the product?
Functionality around who can control, move items on a board. Also enhanced features around temporary closure of a board (say with a timer) while workshop participants are presenting. Sometimes attendees are distracted by the board and need to focus on presentations before capturing the next round of thoughts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been great for capturing reviews of project designs, plans, reports in an online workshop setting. Paired with functionality like participant surveys through TEAMS, it is a very powerful collaboraiton tool.
Best Brainstorming and Organization Platform Out There
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of the tool. If you need a mind map, you can mind map. If you need to sticky-note brainstorm in bulk digitally, you can do that. If you need to combine both and work with a remote team to get work done, it's indispensable!
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't share a link to a board and have anonymous people collaborate or view it like on Google Docs. I was running a workshop and used it for the first time and didn't realize it required people to sign up in order to contribute. It really slowed down the energy of the workshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content strategies, organization restructures, content planning, business development. So many things. It's replaced my whiteboard completely, even though I have a physical one. I love that you can have an ongoing board no kids can mess up or colleagues erase so they can use it for their next meeting. It allows ideas to breathe and be refined/built over time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out for free to see if your team likes it and will adopt it. You can get a ton of use and if you find you keep running into features you need, it's well worth the price.
A fantastic product for sharing idea, collaboration, and for presenting solutions
What do you like best about the product?
I love the number of templates Miro offers. I've been able to articulate my thoughts clearly, and as a result, I've had many people request access to Miro for their use.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I've tried to find something to say that I disliked, there's nothing I can think of for improvement at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Miro for mind mapping, collaborating with teams for governance, articulating what my department does, and sharing strategic ideas.
Miro pushed our in-house collaboration to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
We are working remotely nowadays, also with a lot of teams that are spread across different countries, and the usage of Miro helped us to push our "in-house" collaboration, but also working with external stakeholders, to the next level. It simply is a fantastic tool to visualize what needs tangibility and facilitates all sorts of workshops.
More than a year ago, we (UX team) started to champion the usage of Miro, and now the whole company has adapted to this workflow. We love to plan our roadmaps in it. Running effective workshops of any kind is a breeze (also thanks to the great range of templates). There are many use cases for our daily business of the UX team that are perfectly covered in Miro. I wouldn't want to miss Miro in my daily routine anymore.

What do you dislike about the product?
As we tend to work with many different Miro boards, an easier method to switch and search for those boards would be great. Probably even adding tags or integrations for the Atlassian suite would help a lot (don't know if those already exist).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have hands-on meetings in a remote working culture is great. Every participant has an easy way to participate and it doesn't take a lot of skill to use the tool!
Amazing tool for productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how there is an infinite board that you can just freeform populate with ideas and visuals and the fact that you can live collaborate is what sold it to me. I switched from Milanote and I haven't regretted it since. :)
It's really cool to be able to edit things on all sizes so everything fits perfectly and it's easy to overview and see where everything is (thanks to frames also).

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be really awesome to have nested boards like a folder structure because now there is only 1 level. It would be super neat if you could have boards within boards within boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am an animator and a designer and I use it for work to show clients storyboards, scripts etc. and to collaborate with other artists.
You can plan, idea, map and collaborate with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro delivers seamless collaboration functionalities, which has been beneficial in allowing our remote team to conduct back and forth sessions with minimal effort. It can become a knowledge base for the product, design, and marketing teams to generate ideas and plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost per extra user for the team collaboration is higher than the subscription because it is an additional charge and the subscription fee. In this case, Miro should introduce an affordable pricing plan for startups would be highly beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we had a hard time creating visuals on Google docs or charts, and we tried various tools that were quite limited in terms of collaboration and other handy features. But now, after getting started with Miro, we feel good as we can collaborate in real-time and create varieties of concepts and designs in less time.
Perfect way to demonstrate concepts and ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is more than a design tool; it is also a complete digital whiteboard. Any notions or ideas are presentable from scratch or by picking one of the many pre-made templates available. Another advantage of this application is that it enables real-time collaboration with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro does not have a feature to directly download visuals into various file formats such as doc, pdf, or image; instead, we need to create and capture the frame, which can be confusing for most first-time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for almost everything at our company, including business planning and preparation, teamwork, idea generation, and finalization, among other things. Thanks to the Miro, that finally we can communicate our thoughts and ideas.
The only tool I know for true collaboration among virtual teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro gets everyone in your group involved. My team likes to brainstorm by assigning each person a colour of sticky. We set the timer, turn up the music, and everyone writes down their ideas in their own space. When we finish, we combine all the stickies. It's a safe and relaxed way for all team members to have their voices heard. And it's fantastic that there is a template for everything you can imagine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, there is a learning curve. Lots of commands to learn to be proficient and confident leading a session. But for general use, anyone can pick it up the first time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently started using the ice-breaker templates to spice up our weekly Happy Hour.
The product is what we had been waiting for years!
What do you like best about the product?
An incredible product for collaborative brainstorming, ideation, and conceptualization of anything you can imagine!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no possibility to attach additional files (especially images) to the sticky cards, but I think this feature will be added in the future.
