Very good white board!

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very good tool for sketches and throwing out ideas. Easy to use and has a nice range of tools.
Honestly, I do not use it every day, but it has been quite helpful and handy when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulty of sharing boards with other people as guests for quick reviews or once-off collaborations.
Some tools are not too intuitive to use (e.g. moving a text in an arrow element), however, it is relatively easy to find help out there explaining how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works quite well in the early stages of product design. It is a great whiteboard and mind-mapping, so I, as a Product Manager, often go there for these parts of the process.
It has been a nice tool to use collaboratively with the team as well.

When it comes to Wireframing and Prototype, I usually hand these tasks to a UI designer and she uses the tools that she prefers, so I have not used Miro for these purposes and honestly find a bit hard for detailed work - but again, this is not my main job, so it is not a problem for me.

I really appreciate the graphical design and especially how easy it is to learn. I also enjoy the customization options, and now I use Miro to create my work graphs and schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, my only issue is moving around the board, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is really helping me visually organize myself, and it makes it much easier for me to keep track of my ideas and goals.

A versatile, visual tool I can’t live without

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use and how visual the experience feels. Miro has become one of my favourite tools I use every day—whether it’s for facilitating workshops, creating a personal canvas, or applying design thinking to different types of projects. It’s intuitive, engaging, and makes collaboration effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The growing number of features sometimes feels overwhelming. While I appreciate the innovation, it’s starting to become more complex to use and creates a bit of FOMO, like I’m missing out on exploring everything. That said, I remain a huge fan of the core, simple features that make Miro so powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me bring structure and creativity together in one place. It makes remote collaboration smooth, especially for workshops and brainstorming sessions, where everyone can contribute visually in real time. It also serves as my go-to space for mapping ideas, documenting processes, and running design thinking exercises. The benefit is clear: better alignment with my team, faster idea generation, and a much more engaging way of working than traditional tools.

Essential Visual Collaboration Tool for Remote Teams

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The infinite canvas and real-time collaboration capabilities make Miro indispensable for our distributed team. I particularly appreciate the extensive template library that helps us jump-start brainstorming sessions, sprint planning, and workshops without starting from scratch. The ability to see cursors moving in real-time and work simultaneously with colleagues creates an engaging, almost in-person feel to our remote meetings. The integration with tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira streamlines our workflow significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep for new users who aren't familiar with digital whiteboarding tools. Sometimes the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming initially. I've also noticed occasional lag when working on boards with extensive content or many simultaneous users, which can disrupt the flow during critical meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product manager, Miro addresses the problem of aligning cross-functional teams around product vision and execution. I use it extensively for whiteboarding sessions, feature prioritization workshops, and mapping user journeys. I use it to facilitate dynamic visual sessions with engineering, design, and stakeholders, including our Sprint Retro. The persistent boards serve as living documentation that the team references throughout development, keeping everyone aligned on decisions and rationale.

What do you dislike about the product?
Ouch! Unfortunately, it's not possible for multiple people to work on the same object simultaneously.

Miro helps to activate a collaborative extended mind.

Miro enables a collaborative environment that feels like an extension of our collective thinking.

A solid choice for managing end-to-end design workflows

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a versatile tool that assists me throughout each phase of my design process. I rely on it to draft design briefs, map out user flows, and develop journey maps. The Miroverse offers a wide range of workshop formats, which I find helpful for organizing collaborative sessions. Additionally, Miro enables real-time collaboration with my colleagues, making it simple to gather and arrange ideas together on a shared board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro provides a wide range of features, which can make navigation feel a bit overwhelming at times. I also find that creating a board from the ground up can be exhausting, so I usually opt to begin with a template or a mock-up rather than constructing everything from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has significantly accelerated the visualization stage of my design process. Previously, I handled much of this work manually, which was more time-consuming. Now, by leveraging various templates and frameworks, I can achieve the desired structure much more quickly. This tool allows me to skip unnecessary steps, streamline my workflow, and boost my overall efficiency.
