I like how I can search documents of different articles and books all in one place.

Sometimes it can be confusing to navigate.

Researching and finding answers when working on articles all in one place and in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Influencer lookup and Engage are very helpful tools, and help my team target press releases, plan our media and really understand our metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
How slowly engage loads, some of the confusion on how to use the platform by some of our other users, and the complexity of some Boolean search queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is truly an all in one solution to my lean team’s PR needs!

What do you like best about the product?
the tool is fairly easy to navigate, user-friendly, which makes it convenient. i like the dashboard visibility and reporting the most
What do you dislike about the product?
logging in is a nuisance sometimes, because when you try to log in through the web browser, you have to go through all of the other meltwater new customer ads just to find the login menu
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
competitive monitoring and analysis along with monitoring all of media, social media and the reporting/analytics for all our channels
Recommendations to others considering the product:
once you have everything set up, your day-to-day usage of it gets easier. know that you can always call your account manager for any questions or to help walk you and your team through anything because they're always helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
Daily reports categorized by platform/location of appearance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales team is very persistent and seems not to be aligned with the customer's information during the sale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a statement comparing a service to Google Alerts, suggesting that it is more effective at detecting mentions of a company on the internet.

What do you like best about the product?
Good product for media monitoring--seems like close to real time posting of stories
What do you dislike about the product?
My only concern is the pricing. It's very pricey but it's also been very beneficial. I just have a limited budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a limited staff, this service is a great resource--everything is right a my fingertips

Again, the product is very good. And, the customer service is exceptional.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that once i have my dashboard set up, i have the resources I need to get the daily information I need, right at my finger tips. I also like that I can set up auto alerts on new news items.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to refine your search parameters. It is a continual process. The crawlers will bring up stories and items that may not be related to your topic, product. Also sometimes important stories might be missed on certain websites. However, once you tell your support team that they were missed, they will figure out the issue and make sure you don't miss it next time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Meltwater primarily for keeping up on industry news and what our competitors are doing. The Meltwater platform really has been key in allowing us to do this in a streamlined manner. I have used another platform and before that, created my own process of monitoring news. Meltwater is by far the best tool I have found.

Great for social listening and measurement

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Meltwater consistely finds conversations not found on other less robust listening tools. I also like that the reports are pretty customizable. One of the things that was a differentiator for this tool was the ability to change sentiment for conversations. As a hospital, terms like "sick" and "flu" can sometimes be part of a positive conversation. Lastly, their customer service is phenomenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that automatic reports are generated in the early morning of the date you have set. If you do the report ahead of time, it will capture information, such as social conversations, that you have not addressed or recategorized. I wish the reports would let you clearly define time frames and not include data outside of those parameters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social listening, answering concerns and complaints, tracking sentiment, tracking conversations as related to specific terms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for boolean searches for social listening and measuring sentiment. Reporting can be improved. Dashboards are a great visual way to measure conversation. Captures conversations no other tool has for me.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is a good tool for tracking media impressions and PR value. Their reps were super helpful in getting us setup with the reporting that we needed to track YoY media value through number of impressions. It gave us a good baseline for measurement of that important KPI. We also liked the ability to create media lists to reach out to journalists that wrote about our industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater was missing some of the less mainstream outlets, so we had to manually calculate those impressions. Our rep was helpful in getting them added over time, but it wasn't in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater was a media tracking tool that provided us with media value tracking and ROI analysis on our PR spend. It was also helpful to create media lists to reach out to journalists to pitch stories and news.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We looked at several media tracking softwares and felt that Meltwater was the most streamlined and cost effective for our needs. I recommend their service.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly, easy to navigate and the meltwater team is great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing. Interface is simple and user friendly. Boolean theory can be tricky to understand, but once you practice it gets easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social listening for our PR and Social Media efforts. We wanted to quantify our efforts, and Meltwater allows us to do just that.
